161  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: July 02, 2023, 03:12:06 PM
I will draw my teaching from this sub topics below;
How do you increase capital investment and make more profits?

* Buy more money or income
* Invest More money or capital
Now let's understand the concert money, is a legal tender or recognised transactional exchange documents. It can paper type, coins or digital currency. For any money to increase from example one, there's a need to buy more money, now the idea of buying more money simply to savings and rents from source of income or business involved in. When you keep the policy of savings you're buying ideas of more money which power your future investment.

And secondly invest more money means applying the idea reinvestment, whatever comes your way after savings percentage be sure to increase your investment strength, the more the polling strength of capital organization the more the outcome of financial assets and investment.
I guess this is helpful, you can add your points let's keep learning.
I think this is a simple logic based on the fact that money attracts money. So if you are able to gather an initial capital and that also a good capital it automatically becomes easy to earn more money.  But yes this is only applicable if you buy assets with your money and assets means cash generating item, if you buy liabilities then obviously this isn't going to happen.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better to have a trading knowledge than depending on signals. on: July 01, 2023, 09:28:36 PM
Trading in crypto could be a difficult task that not so many persons involved in trading do actually make the kind of profits people assume that traders might be making when compared to investors that are only into HODLing. As a crypto trader a lot of serial capacity building in knowledge is needed on a daily as it is a necessity for sufficient and profitable crypto trading journey.

But, a wrong trend I observed among some group of crypto traders is that of a framework of so much interest in paying for trading signals stead of taking the pain in keenly learning  to build a robust knowledge about crypto trading.

As a trader that relies on buying signals, how confident are you about the continuous availability of those signals. Would they always be accurate and dependable?  Heavily depending on signals is parallel to same thing as someone else trading for you with your money. How ironical!

Don't get me wrong. I am not condemning buying of signals perhaps it would be more accrue-able, profitable and less vulnerable for you if you're knowledgeable in crypto trading and  decide adding up with buying of signals if need be. Learning about crypto knows no boundaries.
Obviously yes, trading is very very difficult task. Signals are just for fooling peoples. Signals just provide you a very big idea that where is the action happening. After that you'll have to use your knowledge to make use to actually materialize the signals and actually make profit. So yes knowledge is very necessary for all the traders.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: July 01, 2023, 08:48:33 PM
Yes, like the title above, we all know the halving time is will always full of drama, this always happens at that time, but I don't know why many people forget and still spread FUD everywhere. If they understand that and know it always happens on every 4 years, they shall be calm and relaxed to face SEC, Binance, or anything drama.

I hope this lesson gives you an important point. They create this to dump Bitcoin, they do this to scare you, they do this to buy Bitcoin at a cheap price, and After buying with a lot of money, you already know that today Bitcoin price is pumped like crazy, right?

So, I just want to say; Don't forget, The drama could happen again and repeat until the halving time. you must be strong and patient. you will definitely win if you face it with a quiet and strong hand if happen again in the near future.

Cheers
It's obviously going to happen, it'll start with FUD and then will give people FOMO. I have seen this two times now, it'll first start with BTC going so down that everyone just thinks this is the last ride and best price that you might sell before this blows off. Then you'll see a ride up that you'll remember always. Whenever you'll wake up you'll see bitcoin ramping up another $2k. Now let's see if we'll repeat the same story this time or not.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 01, 2023, 08:40:27 PM
well, England is going to lose badly in this match as well.
No I don't think that England Gona lose this second match of test series, because Thier hopes are alive with the availability of stokes and duckett no doubt they lose early on wicket which has difinitely impel alot pressure on them and personally at early stage I taught too that they gonna be easy bite for Australian but the way they hold Thier nerves and recover himself at such a pressure condition is phenomenal, now both batter are almost set and the only sutible things for them will be to build partnership because they just required 250 around, I am pretty sure that the series Gona be 1-1 after this match...

My prediction is that after this match we will have the Ashes in favor Of Australia 2-0.

I know England has done a great job by bowling out Australia at only 279 runs in the second innings but the first innings lead by Australia is hurting them a lot.

The situation now is that England needs more 257 runs on the last day of this test match but the big problem is that they already lost the top 4 batsmen. The fate of England depends upon how Ben Duckett  and Ben Stokes start the innings on the 5th day morning.
I don't think right now it's anything like a prediction right now. It's obviously an unchasable target in the first place and then England has also lost 4 wickets. But yes coming back in this series after losing 2 matches is going to be almost impossible for England. So this is an ashes after quite many years where away country will win the ashes.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is crypto trading so similar yet so different from Forex trading? on: July 01, 2023, 08:35:55 PM
This question seems so simple, yet the answer seems to escape me. Both involve technical and fundamental analysis, which includes indicators, charts, and candlesticks. They make use of the same trading principles, ideologies, and strategies. However, I have yet to see a forex trader who has dumped forex trading for crypto trading. I have yet to see a forex trader who doesn't claim that they make more money than crypto traders. I have also yet to see a crypto trader who has dumped it for forex trading. Have you made a move from Forex trading to crypto trading or crypto to Forex? What happened? Can one do both at the same time?
It's very simple why it's different, crypto has much more volatility than forex. Crypto is a very different market because the things that the results depend on is quite different. Also leverage is pretty heavy in forex. Talking about doing both I don't think it's possible to trade both. Both are 24 hours market and you'll be in a very difficult situation when you'll try to remember variables of both the markets so obviously it's not advisable to really trade in both the markets.
166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need a book recommendation on: June 30, 2023, 07:47:56 PM
Hello everyone , I'am a beginner on crypto trading and i'am
looking for your recommendation on some essential books on how to trade/trading strategies (preferably on day trading), any of your recommendations would help, thank you.
I don't think there are a lot of books purely focused on cryptos in trading but I think how to win at trading and stock trading wizards are the two that are really helpful and actually help the new comers in creating their strategies when they are new to the market. I feel somehow these are good books for newbies.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 30, 2023, 05:53:31 PM
This match is in Australia's grip at the moment unless rain plays spoilsport and messes up everything. They can easily post a lead greater than 400 since they bat deep though we shouldn't rule out England since we know what they are capable of.
If Australia wins this one too, England will need to win the next 3 matches to win the series which is extremely difficult.
England was cruising at 188/1. And then they lost wickets in a hurry and ended up at 325 all out. Harry Brook was the only lower order batsmen who made a significant contribution. Meanwhile, Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith are batting with a lot of patience and they are scoring at a rate of 2-3 runs per over. Australia may be planning to declare by second session tomorrow, but that looks a bit risky for me. The pitch is not offering a lot of support for the batsmen. Ideally they should score runs quickly and try to declare by lunch tomorrow.
Australia leads England by 221 runs at the end of the third day's play. As the third day's play is already over and Australia has only started their second innings so far on the third day, I feel this match is likely to be a draw. However, the unbeaten wicket pair of Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith could be a concern for England. These two main batsmen of Australia are still unbeaten. If they can build a good partnership, Australia's innings can be huge. The England captain will surely want to break the pair of these two batsmen. As long as these two batsmen remain unbeaten, England's pressure will continue to mount.

Australia's innings will be big. Because England's bowlers and batsmen are not playing well. Australia collected 416 runs in the first innings. And the Australian team collected 130 runs after losing 2 wickets in the second innings. Gradually they are moving towards big collections. Since the Australian team has already managed to take a lead of 221 runs, if Australia can collect 150 runs in the next day, it will be a big collection. However, I expected more responsible batting from England in the first innings. Had Bairstow and Stokes played some big innings, England would have been able to muster 400.
I think Australia is in very positive situation right now. Just a day of good batting will be enough for them to win this match. With a big target in front and more than a day left it'll automatically be very difficult for England to bat properly, Aussies can get quick wickets. I think yes the problem with England is just one player per innings performing correctly.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: June 30, 2023, 05:21:39 PM
I saw this as a memes on a social media platform which created much laughter amongst many person's with funny comments that followed. But let's view it the other round in real sense.

Funny as it look, it's a reality for many crypto investors out there. A scenario were some had to invest when there was great value for the coin only to sell it when the price dropped after holding for long. Which means they never had an understanding of the basics of investing or trading before investing.

This this humor as it looks has turned many billionaires to millionaires down to thousand-naires as the case may be. Often times than not it could be that these people perhaps invested into the wrong coin and timing too.

Before you get to invest in crypto or bitcoin endeavor to know about the basics so you don't end up taking wrong investment decisions about it, so you don't send the wrong message or signal to people out there that are yet to know and partake in the industry.  Just like one of the photos I put up a alleging how "crypto is a biggest lie", and bitcoin isn't excluded in this statement either.
source:https://www.facebook.com/pseitradingmemes
I don't think this is true. Obviously for some crypto has changed everything. I think specifically talking about crypto making people poor, these are the people who actually entered in a bull run thinking that everything will keep on skyrocketing and we will keep on running upwards. But then the best run kicks in and these guys eventually lose even the cost that they had invested.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore this Classic Business Law or Follow Your Instincts? on: June 30, 2023, 04:48:29 PM
I attended a business seminar where a facilitator a renowned professor, and Entrepreneur shared a story on how he missed out on investing in a small fintech start two years ago which as at today is worth $500 million. He said the team had approached him to make an a investment in the start but because he did not understand how the were going to make money since he didn't invest the $100k he wanted to write them. Today, he would have been $7.5million richer had he invested.

They say do not invest in what you do not understand which was largely the principle the speaker adhered to but what if despite not immediately understanding the business model and its profit making model yet your business instinct pushing you to invest. What should you do? Listen to the former or follow your instincts?
I think the former is better. Instincts will be correct only 50% of the times which means it's nothing but just chance. Better is to go by your knowledge, deal only in those things that you understand. This will make sure that you don't fall into get rich quick schemes. This also ensures you keep on learning even more to make sure that you never invest without knowledge.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gospel Preachers: Is Bitcoin the Last Currency in the World? on: June 29, 2023, 10:09:48 PM
I have been planning to create this thread for more than three months but today I decided to drop the thread.
When I was a little child, Missionaries like Jehovah Witness Brethren and other Pentecostal Church preachers who was preaching the Holy Bible says, time will come in the whole world that everyone will use ONE CURRENCY and anyone who refused to use that currency can not buy things in any store. And the way BITCOIN is, it is accepting by the whole world. And Bitcoin is growing step by step.

I don't know in the last step of Bitcoin everyone will only use it and no any other currency will exist again. So I like to hear from some Biblical Scholars in the forum to tell me more on this topic. This thing that I said is inside the Holy Bible but I can't recall the scripture but it is in the book of "Revelation".
Nope unless we are going to have an apocalypse which can end the entire earth in next 100 years, bitcoin is definitely not going to be the last currency. I am saying this because we all know quantum computing is already a threat to bitcoin not in next 10-20 years but definitely in next 100 years and once it's a threat bitcoin will not be that secure and that useful and ultimately we'll have some other currency in its place.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 29, 2023, 06:51:37 PM
Looks like Australia is going to win this test and it is clear even before the end of play for first day. Apart from occasional bursts by Josh Tongue, none of the England pacers seems to be capable of troubling the Australian batsmen. Partnership between Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith is now worth 82 runs, and it came after David Warner scored a half-century. The match is rapidly slipping out of England's control. Australia may end up somewhere around 350-400 on the first day. And they got Mitchell Starc in place of Scott Boland, so there's going to be a lot of searing pace once the Poms come out to bat.
Do you remember what I was saying yesterday? It seems England is not in a bad position at all. Right now, England trails by 138 runs only. Robinson and Josh Tongue both got three wickets each. So, it was your early prediction about the match result, which might be wrong. I am not saying I am right. But I would wait for the 2nd innings of Aussies.

A single good session of a test match changes the match. Two hundred seventy-eight runs by losing four wickets is not too bad. I feel like England can take a good lead from this innings. Harry Brook and Harry Brook are on the crease. Let's see what happens.
I don't think it'll be a tough task for England to take some lead 138 with 6 wickets in hand, with two batsmen who have settled a bit as well i don't think it's too much to do. But yes I do feel that this match will head either toward a draw or towards another nail biting 5 day and things will be quite clear by tomorrow. Because if English almost break even, Aussies are going to bat again and give a hefty target which will make it a bit inverse of the previous match.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: June 29, 2023, 06:32:40 PM
It's just a hypothetical question and says nothing about me. I decided to open thread with this question for a lot of reasons which I'll explain down below.

If you think about inflation, taxes and your salary at the same time, you'll understand how the government eats you alive. Let's start with the fact that იf you live in Europe and have a normal salary, you have to leave almost half of it in taxes. Then, when you want to go for shopping and buy something in store, including food, clothes, technics, etc, you have pay your taxes of those items with already taxed money. Then, the store owner has to pay taxes of the income his store generated. Distributors, who deliver things to these stores, have to pay taxes too. Then there are vehicle taxes, property taxes. So, absolutely everything is taxed and on top of that, our salary is taxed and even on top of that, we experience inflation. This is not fair!

So, my legitimate question is, after all the robbery, a person, who doesn't pay taxes, is a bad person for the society or not? More likely I want to get answer from those whose countries have a model similar of European healthcare and employment insurance.

This is a very subjective question to be honest. It's like is it correct if I kill a terrorist which killed 50 people. Problem is it's still illegal might not be unethical on your part but in all terms it's illegal. I would rather say do what your conscious says. If it says that it's no big deal then go for it, otherwise don't do it because ultimately it's your share to the community and even the resources that you use. I know it might not be very equitably distributed you might be getting too less in return of giving too much, but this is how it is.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and it's potential on: June 29, 2023, 06:28:42 PM
I have studied and argue about Bitcoin some topics which I posted and also came across in other board. Today I begin to think about the whole Idea of Decentralization, and I think the inventors of bitcoins since the idea was conceived till it was birthed has done the greatest good to humanity. With my view as at the time of writing , I think bitcoins will go long way to reduce poverty if they allow it achieve it's purpose.  Reducing poverty in my context is not about profit but the peer to peer transaction mechanism. The idea of centralized exchange is very much in place because a lot of people are yet to accept bitcoins but once it become accepted by majority, I think there will definitely be no reason to convert to fiat.
Please elaborate how can it eradicate poverty, let it be in any context. I can't understand how do people say that? Yes it does gives some extra opportunities to some people to earn. But so does AI, so does cloud computing and so does every new technology. Bitcoin isn't going to help in re-etablishing world order for sure. Rich are still going to be rich and poor are going to be poor.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 25, 2023, 07:23:22 PM
SL vs IRE
Sri Lanka vs Ireland match Sri Lanka won by a huge margin of 133 runs. Sri Lanka batted first and were all out for 325 in 49.5 overs. Karunaratne played brilliantly and was dismissed for 102 runs. Samarawickrama was dismissed for 82 and narrowly missed out on a century. Ireland were all out for 192 in 31 overs. None of their team's batsmen could score a half-century. Very poor batting performance from Ireland today. Congratulations Sri Lanka Cricket Team.

After Sri Lanka set a target of 326 I was sure they were going to win the match. Because the Ireland team is not in good form now. Their performance in the previous matches was not good. As usual, they did not perform well against Sri Lanka. Ireland lost all wickets for just 192 runs. The Ireland team was defeated today by a huge margin of 133 runs.

On the other hand, the Scotland team won easily against Oman. Scotland won by 76 runs. And the important thing is that Scotland won all three of their games. This team is in very good form and is performing well in every match.
Ireland team really doesn't has that power and skill now to compete at the international level. It was only until the O'Brian brothers were there that really used to turn the match for them. Now except for J. Little I don't see a single person in whom I can see a future developing star for Irish cricket. Not surprised to see them losing so badly.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Service or Bot for effective and timely DCA execution? on: June 25, 2023, 06:21:08 PM
I know that the Bitcoin halving is coming next year, and the bull run will follow after that, based on my research. Everyone is doing their best to prepare. As a small Bitcoin investor, I don't want to be left out either. I have stepped up my game. For me, the best and least stressful method is the dollar-cost averaging (DCA) strategy, where I invest a certain amount of money periodically. However, I have encountered a problem. I struggle to keep up with the schedule because I have many other commitments outside of the Bitcoin space. Sometimes, I simply forget to DCA at the time I blocked off on my calendar for it. This requires discipline, but fortunately, there is technology available to help. I am wondering if there is a service or bot that can assist with effective and timely DCA execution?
Why do you need a DCA tool for such a thing? Simple way can be to put orders in your buy book at lower levels so that they automatically get executed when the coin comes to thst. It's a better strategy as well because sometimes when futures gets liquidated the spot price falls too much but for such a small time that you won't be able to put a buy order at all, in such times it's easier if these orders get executed.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 25, 2023, 05:21:50 PM
In what ways have the people living in poverty impacted in the economy?
Share your ideas on the importance of the poor masses in economy sustainability.
I think poor play one important role which is to make sure the socialistic schemes of the governments don't really stop. If it wasn't for the poor i highly doubt that there would be any schemes by government to distribute freebies, these things ensure equity in the economy I feel. Moreover poor in the economy also act as the necessary labour force required for the manual tasks in the economy ranging from construction industry to manufacturing industry.
177  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: June 25, 2023, 03:56:39 PM

Ok just help me explain how exactly do you think it'll help you solve money laundering or such issues. Or let's say why do you think UPI can't solve this issue? The main idea whenever you want to track money laundering is the visibility of transaction which is available in both UPI and CBDC and infact was there in cheques and NEFT as well. CBDC will establish trails but truth is UPI already does that and every banking transactions does that. Even I have the question that why do we need the CBDC? Just to join the trend?

The solution: To use UPI you would require a bank account. To use eRuppe you would not need a bank account. You only need this wallet and that is done. Now, let's look into the pain area for the government. Now, you might ask then why promote UPI? My point of view is that UPI got promoted accidentally because of the COVID-19 virus. Otherwise, it would have been hard for the government to get those kinds of transactions. There are still a lot of cash transactions happening and with the eRupee they would be controlling these transactions. Do remember the parallel economy that we had of unreported cash transactions has not disappeared. It is still active and thriving.

The pain area: Unable to stop bank frauds, unable to stop financial scams, and Unable to stop counterfeiting. All these would be taken care of with the eRupee. You should read this article which was published last year about the benefits. Go through points 4, 6, 8 & 10. What I found hilarious is the first point. We are here because of decentralization, they are promoting a centralized product. You will get all your answers if you read this article thoroughly.

I get the point on two things, one is the intermediary banks will be eliminated therefore unnecessary settlement of books which is done within these banks will be eliminated. Enhanced visibility is a myth, they already have too much visibility especially with SFTRA in place, they are having all the major transactions monitored. And also UPI promotion wasn't an accident for sure. It did got accelerated due to Covid but the plan was fool proof starting from demonetisation itself
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 24, 2023, 07:29:01 PM
In the other match Nepal played against Netherlands. After winning the toss Netherlands have won the toss and decided to bowl. Nepal could've collected atleast 200+ runs. The performance isn't upto the mark and ended the innings for 167 runs. Netherlands chased the target with ease reaching the target in 28 overs losing 3 wickets.
Nepal has won only one match out of 4 matches. We know that the Nepal team is not strong. They are not experienced. Even then I didn't think it would perform so badly. The matches are being played on batting-friendly pitches. High scores are possible if the batsmen are able to bat responsibly in every match. On such a pitch, Nepal gave the target only 168 runs. It wasn't enough to win. The Netherlands reached the target in just 27 overs. And they lost only three wickets. The performance of Nepalese players was very poor. They need to be more confident. The team must maintain the stability of performance in the upcoming Asia Cup.
I had good confident about the Nepal team but the performance of some matches in these World Cup Qualifiers has changed this thought. Winning just one out of four matches confirms that they are yet to develop good batting and bowling skills. Last match they lost against Netherlands which is a big defeat for the Nepal team. Most of the viewers lost their reliance on the team. But one thing is certainly clear that there is a big difference between playing in small and big tournaments. Although the Nepal team has some good innings records in the past history they could not reflect that in the World Cup Qualifiers.
I think it's not normal for Nepal team to play outside the subcontinent so that also might be a very new experience for them and one of the reason why they are struggling so much. Even Sri Lanka which is on number 9 won previous Asia Cup because it played so well on sub continent pitches while they can't really play on all the foreign pitches.
179  Local / India / Re: How many have Ethereum on their prorfolio? on: June 24, 2023, 04:51:38 PM
Just being curious here. I want to ask everyone here, how many of you have either 100% portfolio dedication to Ethereum or 50% dedicated to it. In general, how much you owe to this guy for your success in crypto business.

Waiting for your replies.

Thanks.
I have it. Just a random 15% of my portfolio, simple logic is that it ain't a shit coin it has delivered what it was made for and even delivered much more than that. Talking it in this way this guy has actually made a big impact on the crypto industry as a whole. I used to feel that on day Eth will surely take over bitcoin in terms of price and market cap, this was the time when I added it into my folio, now I highly doubt this would happen but still a worthy investment.
180  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: June 24, 2023, 04:48:19 PM
I found this image on a different forum. RBI is approaching random national bank customers or is asking national bank staff to test the wallet. I went through all the replies on that thread. The most important question that everyone was asking was why India needs e-Ruppe while UPI doing pretty well. Some of them started comparing it with UPI and most found it similar. I laughed all out when the OP on one of his replies thought that CBDC will give anonymity to its users.

To that reply, a user gave a counter reply as to how much the e-Rupee will help the Government to track everyone's transactions. That according to me is correct as a government's digital currency is meant to track transactions. The reason being the government is still not able to stop illegal activities such as money laundering using the UPI. Banking frauds plus scams are not that easy to solve. With the CBDC project, they plan to counter this issue.

As the wallet is still in the testing phase some users have said that it is full of bugs. Hopefully, they would get solved. What do you guys think about it and if given a chance would you test this wallet? Above is the image of the wallet dashboard. All credits go to the creator of that thread u/PerfectKills.
