1. close your wallet
start your wallet by using the compatibility mode for win7.

if it still crash: close your wallet and

start your wallet.

Save your wallet.dat file and delete all the other files located in this path
(before starting make sure you have the saved wallet.dat in this path)
start your wallet,

I have some questions:

Did you check your firewall/Anti-malware suite ?

Did you have MS C++ redistribuable package 2008, 2010 and 2012 or 2013 ?
(you can see these on programs & features)

Did you try the compatibility mode for win7 ?

Did your opalcoin.conf looks like that ?

If you can reply yes to ALL these questions, then:

Save your wallet.dat in order to delete the other files located in this path C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Opacoin
then replace the saved wallet.dat in this path and restart it.

Save your wallet.dat to delete the Opalcoin folder AND the Opal-QT folder (or Opalcoin-Qt-exchange)
then download it again put the saved wallet.dat and run it.

You can also check the event viewer to detect any error when you start your Opal client.

[here] Finally, save your wallet.dat and your new opalcoin.conf delete your opalcoin folder (Users\YourUsername\Appdata\roaming\Opalcoin) download a new one and retry, at this point you should have a stable wallet.

Le développement d'Opal Drive se poursuit, nous allons utiliser une solution alternative à Storj qui nous ira mieux.
Un developpeur de Storj a répondu directement sur le thread Opal, essentiellement pour nous dire que nous ne pourrions pas utiliser leur plate-forme. Qu'il y avait eu une incompréhension : Ce que nous avions proposé était un Proof-of-Concept pour leur testnet.
 
Nous avons choisi une autre plateforme pour construire Opal Drive , nous passons à Syncthing (http://syncthing.net), qui est un protocole de transfert de fichiers décentralisée.
disponible pour Linux, Mac OS, Windows mais aussi pour Androïd, BSD et Solaris !

En utilisant Syncthing, vous récupérer un identifiant unique avec lequel vous communiquez avec une autre machine, si l'autre machine vous approuve, la synchronisation des fichiers choisis commence.
Aucune machine ne peut se synchroniser si elle n'est pas approuvée.
une fois votre machine ajoutée vous aurez à indiquer quelle machines peuvent y accéder, les connections Syncthing sont encryptées en utilisant TLS.
Chaque Noeud est identifié par un certificat cryptographique fort. Seules les noeuds que vous aurez explicitement autorisés peuvent se connecter au votre.

How long did you wait with the loading screen ? because this loading screen may stay 1 or 2 minutes before the wallet opening

Did you try the compatibility mode for win7 ?

Also did your opalcoin.conf look like that:

Finally check your firewall or security suite, maybe it blocks the wallet.

OpalTKN is an asset traded on NXT's asset exchange. It is separate from OpalCoin and represents a holding in the future earnings of opal products.


On January 2nd 2015 at 1400 GMT, OPALTKN dividend were sent through out the SuperNET. There are 15 million total OPALTKN, and 10% will go to SuperNET asset holders and 10% to NXTventure holders and 5% into JLH. From the NXTventure dividend, InstantDEX holders will get around 4% as it owns about 40% of NXTventure.
