Some of these comments are seriously funny, shift will prob reach $100 some point this year? Trust me it will happen early in the year, comparing shift to shitcoin ico's? what a joke. We have a working product and it's a big deal. Also decentralized web is one of the top 5 use cases in the blockchain space imo. So many shitcoins pumped to 1b or more in weeks in some cases even days.
You are absolutely right, but the tech is not the problem, Shift is light-years ahead of some other shitcoins, but lacks on marketing and exposure on bigger exchange sites. I believe something similar happens with XSPEC, it seems to be the better privacy coin, but the marketing is very poor. But both are doing the right thing, if they start a serious marketing campaign with a developed and working product, they could 10x in less than a year easily. |

It's not that I don't believe you, but MONKS value it's around $5. When do you think it will get to your $40-50 per MONK prediction? It has a very low market cap, so of course that can be possible, even more considering the project itself, but are you talking 2018? 2019?

Yes you are right, the only thing we need is an exchange like Binance and Bittrex. If somehow we can make it we will be in the right place where we deserve. I trust in this young guys.  there is alot of peeps haven't generate their patchs yet, they only wait the price to go up and they will convert their EXOR to ELIX as u can see here there is alot of address still hold their EXOR..total supply will be more than 100m ELIX. This comment scared me. You are a respected user here, so you know what you're talking about. If that happens, we are talking of one hell of a dip. On the other hand, the project is rock solid and the dev team couldn't be better. This makes my think about my portfolio, which has a lot of Elixir in it. Maybe, if this happens, it won't be until Elixir's value is a lot higher, idk. PS: Horror stories aside, Elixir's value has stabilized around $1 and for me, that's a good sign (survived last dip like a champ). When do you think the meteoric rise will come? I don't think it's about the tech, to me it's just a matter of marketing, but I don't know when they are going to start it in a serious way. Perhaps they'll enter a big exchange site soon? Would be nice to see it on Binance or Bittrex, the project deserves it. |

If bitcoin goes for another run then I am sure Altcoin will crash very hard again but then it will be a good opportunity to buy cheap altcoin !
How ripple goes to the moon and the bitcoin price always stable and then bitcoin goes down and ripple still go to the moon. But this time crypto is really unpredictable man. altcoins are not following the bitcoin right now. I've always seen XRP as a world apart, sometimes I don't even consider it a crypto. It goes against the decentralize principle and can be managed by banks so, at least for me, it's something enterily different in my mind. Which doesn't mean it can't be profitable, but it's not my cup of tea, at least for now. |

My picks would be:

- Elixir
- SHIFT
- Dent
- XSPEC
- COSS
All of them with priority on development and real life use, with relative low market cap, waiting to start marketing and entering bigger exchange sites. When that happens, I don't see why these coins couldn't rise 10x. Just my opinion.

dent has 10B supply , the rest 30 is for the company and rest 60 is only for the app to buy dents.You cannot sent dents from the app to the exchange but vise versa.

I think that Dent is going to have a nice 2018, specially on Q2, but there are some good things coming on Q1, like Android app. I've been tracking this coin since some weeks ago, and seems like a serious and valuable project to me. Glad to hear that you think so too. The other two projects, I came across them at some posts on this forum. If I had to pick, I'd choose Dent, but I don't think the other two are bad projects. I researched a little about them and think that they have potential to grow. I'm not looking to advertise them, if you see my other posts on this forum I'm not spamming or telling everyone to buy these coins, I'm asking for opinions because I'm interested to hear what you have to say. Just for the sake of understanding how cryptoworld works, I indeed was expecting a little dip after the announcement because of people cashing out (what those people are thinking in a moment like this for doing that, I'll never know. But I'm a noob, so what do I know  ), but a huge pump after that because the announcement was very positive for the future of this coin, let alone the tech behind it and potential usefullness. In fact, it's one of the coins with larger % on my portfolio, for the long run. My questions are, do you think this dip was only because of people cashing out? Hoy soon can you expect a significative rise (which sooner or later, will occur I think)? In my mind, I was expecting the pump to happen yesterday, but it didn't. Anyway, this is clearly a coin to hodl, don't sell it, you will regret it. I will only sell it if a meteor hits Sillicon Valley, and I don't see that happening soon. Probably won't be a meteor hitting the valley anytime soon... But you never know where the Falcon Heavy might land! In all seriousness though, this is a coin to hodl hard, agreed. And not only to hodl hard, it's also the best time to buy it. I don't think we will ever see this coin under $1 again after this month (that's just my opinion). I already invested a little on it, but I don't know what will happen tomorrow (the website update should push this coin further, but it's crypto, so who knows). I honestly think a $40 to $100 million market cap is reasonable therefore a price of roughly $40 - $100 per MONK. I have done analyses on a bunch of coins. My analysis measures have proven successful as I have predicted the growth of ALQO from 0.20 cents to now a dollar, Bulwark (BWK) from 4 dollars to 12 dollars, Unify from 0.05 cents to 0.28 cents, Enigma from $1 to $5, and MOD from 2 to 6 dollars. I'm pretty confident in my fundamentals and MONK has all of them. Honestly, the first coin I think that 100x to 500x is reasonable. Just buy some. Forget about it and hold on. Oscillations in price are normal so don't panic by checking the price everyday. Anyone sees this, get on MONK while you can. Great project and developers. Future is looking bright. I think that this could be a winner too. It's on my top 3 of possible coins that can make a lot of profit because of its development and very low market cap. A lot of room to grow. I already bought some MONK some days ago, hope you're right on your predictions Was this the Monkey capital which failed, I saw that their website is offline, or is this another small cap project. I can't say I'm sure, but I believe this is an entirely different project. In fact, the website of MONK is http://monkey.community/ , which now shows a countdown for a possible website update. How this is going to affect its value is what I'm wondering (for example, I thought that the reveal of the dev team of Elixir would make it sky rocket almost instantly, but it's stable around $1. Still I believe that the rise of Elixir is inevitable and I'm already onboard). I have high hopes for this coin, hope I'm right. |

Yes. But not now! Dev's working good and deliver. In few weeks the product is on then way. Then 2 big exchanges and the price raise up to 15$. Are there any news about possible integration into a big exchange site soon or a marketing campaign? This project has everything to become one of the best altcoins of 2018, at least because of its tech and practical use, but it's lacking some marketing and exposure (which I think is the right way to make things work. Better start with a solid development process, and then comes marketing, not the other way around). |

I think I will wait because I am also a little gambler , what I feel worse about the fact that I was trying to buy more but my bank transfer took forever with this holidays and when the money ended up it was a boom with PRL. So I dont know now what to do with the money , I have a hard time buying more at this price. If I were you, I would still buy now if I can. In my opinion, this is not a dump coin, it's a real project with very nice roadmap en develop team. In January many things will happen, incluiding hopefully the release of their Android app and testnet. You could wait a dip to buy it, but I tried to do that and the dip never happened, and there's a chance that we won't see this coin below $1 anymore. I could be wrong, but it's just my opinion |

What do you mean by 'medium term'? Any coin has the potential to go up or down depending on various factors. Are you trying to hold a coin for a certain length of time for some reason? I mean for a couple of months maybe, depending on how it goes. Since these are relatively new coins, I won't be selling them too soon unless I need to, but since they're not that known I wouldn't say I would bet on them for keeping them on a long run for sure. In other words, what I meant is which one would you pick as a risky investment to see day by day if it's worth it or not. Guess I expressed myself badly, sorry about that. |

its very hard to predict which coins are going to explode mostly the small cap coins are exploding but thats like playing roulette.
I agree, but I would not go as far as calling it a roulette. If you search for low market cap coins, and really research about the coin (dev team, road map, possible integration to new exchange sites, marketing, etc.), the chances of making nice profit are real. If you just pick low market cap coins without knowing anything about the project itself, I agree, it's a deadly roulette. |
