161  Other / Off-topic / Re: Philippines on: January 25, 2018, 03:11:53 AM
The Philippines is an archipelago found in the South East Asia. It is surrounded with bodies of water like the pacific ocean, south china sea and others. The country is composed of 7,100 islands and is famous for hospitable people.
What are your thoughts about this country? What is the first thing that comes to mind when you are thinking of this country?
Let me know.
The first thing that comes in my mind when i hear the word Philippines is beach. There are lots of beaches in the Philippines that can be proud of. Tourists spots with a very relaxing view of sea especially during sunrise 'n sunset. I love the ocean so i dream of having a vacation with no phones and internet, just the beach, me and my husband. Yes, i know traffic and all but i know it will all be worth it. Just imagine yourself having a coffee on a hammock tied between two coconut trees, side b side with your husband, cool breeze while watching the sunset or the sunrise.

Hello, the leadership instructed me to develop a bonus payroll system or come up with some kind of incentive. Tell me, what motivates you to work at all, how to raise team spirit?
Since i am an employee, i will answer this in the poimt of view of an employee. I will be more motivated to do my job if i am appreciated or my job is being noticed and appreciated. Incentive is not really necessary but a smile, a tap on the shoulder or saying that i did a good job is enough for me. Also, equal compensation among employees is not given much attention. i do my job well and i am expected to be properly compensated. Vacation is also needed especially in my line of work. A day or two is enough already. Demanding?? Well, every hardworking employee deserve it.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes, i believe in God. My mere existence proves that God is with us. The sun, rain, rainbow, birds, animals and plants are His gifts. We are all here in this world because He gave us a purpose, a purpose to live out lives to the to the fullest. Yes ,there are wars, floods, typhoons, famine, guns, drugs and the like but it is how we see life and how we live our lives. Believing in Him is enough.
164  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: January 23, 2018, 11:04:58 PM
Hatred has taken over almost every where in the societies in recent time whether in the  family, Church, Musqe, office, play ground, school, among young and old people. All of this that happen in our societies made me wonder whether LOVE exist. This is because if you check the meaning of love you will agree with me that love doesn't exist anywhere.
I believe that love exist and i am madly in love with my husband and family now. Most of times, people only see what is not to love, hatred, all the negatives they see on the environment but tend to see the brighter side and what is to love. Take time to look into the small things, these are the ones that show love. Sunrise, sunset, birds chirping, smiles, hug, plants, the sky, the beaches, even the air. There are so many things that show love, we are just blinded by our own concept of love. Try to look into other perspective, you'll see  that LOVE exists...

Guys, a lot of us make money on trading and sometimes there's an excess that you don't need. Do you think it's a good idea to donate part of the profits to charity? Whom would you suggest helping first?
Why not? If you have money give to those who are in need. It will be given back to you..
166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: January 22, 2018, 07:11:40 AM
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
I strongly believe in that, I am totally against death penalty, however, how about the lives the murderers took? Also, in countries where death penalty is against the law, prisons are overflowing with prisoners. There are so many prisoners that a cage for 10 people have 50 persons. Death penalty can be a solution to these crowded prisons. Just saying, but I am still against death penalty though.. Hahha

Everyone's standard of living is different。Are you satisfied with your current living standard?
The kind of life i think is perfect is when i am satisfied and contended with what i have. So far, i haven't achiebed my dreams yet so i think i still need to work and save.

I like to buy things easily...but I'm hesitant because of the possibility that items you purchase have issues on Durability and Value for Money.. What can you say about Online Shopping?
Iam a quite fan of online shopping but there were times when i was disappointed to the actual item, which is the risk of doing onling shopping. When doin' online shooping, the site should be considered also the brand. If you are afraid of the outcome, you should shopping on your own.
169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIRGINITY before getting married on: January 22, 2018, 01:09:54 AM
Do you think virginity is still important before getting married?
Personally, I still believe it is important. Even if it is important to the family, it still depends to the person. Some still think it is a sin to commit pre-marital sex.
170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Management of Money / Budget Management on: January 22, 2018, 12:38:14 AM
Sometime I wonder how to manage money in life and how people save money.

Most of the time when everything is going fine in life and you start thinking that I will be able to save some money this month....and what happen after 3 to 4 days you will face a difficulty/problem in which you have to spend all the money that you were thinking to save.

Is there any way to manage funds in daily life?
What are the tips to save money?

I have tried a lot but unable to save.
I really feel you. We are in the same situation and i am habing a hard time to save especially now that I am a mother, i need to save for emergency and future expenses.. I saw on the tv that it is advised to list down all your expenses, even the snallest one, so you can monitor where your money is going and where you can cut in case of emergency. Also, upon receiving the money, you have first to save at least 10% of the money received.

I am still starting again and i hope i can save. I am somehow pressured but I am trying my best not to pressure myself and just to make sure a little amount is saved. Also, self-discipline is a huge factor in saving (I believe so) and to always remind myself that I have to save and lessen buying things I want and buy only things that I and my family need.

Hi everyone,

What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
If the opportunity comes, go to college. Greater opportunity will follow if you are a degree holder. Higher positions, more stable ang high-paying jobs.
172  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric cigarettes on: January 20, 2018, 06:37:28 AM
Do they really helped you to quit cigarettes

I'm smoking about 2 years, its not too much but now I'm starting to worry about cancer it can cause. But every morning I woke up and thinking to light one so I did it. And I'm thinking to switch to electric cigarettes.
So I'm asking if there is anyone with experience, can tell me are they really helping to quit smoking and are they more or less healthy.
Thanks
No, you better stop before you, your love ones and the people around get cancer or other illnesses.. Are you goin' to wait for that?

What's your lifestyle?
Yes, i spend a lot of time on that internet. I do facebook, bitcoin, youtube and google.. However, i still hangout with family and friends. I can go on without internet for a week or so..

In contrast to the "Where would you travel?" thread.
I'm curious where and why people wouldn't travel to a country. Personal dislike, econimic reasons, political etc. North Korea goes without saying  Roll Eyes

North Korea, Iraq and places where there are war..

177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you have a gun? on: January 19, 2018, 07:44:12 AM
This question mostly goes to americans (or  residents of any other country where it is legal).
Do you have any firearms? For what purpose do you have it and  have you ever used it?
Everyone else can discuss if people should have a right to have a gun or not.
I don't have a gun but if it will be legalized, i want to have one especially at home. Robbers and murderers nowadays are very aggressive, bringing a gum with you is very helpful and will make you safe (in some ways).

What are your plans for the future, in 5 years, 10 years etc.? What do you intend to do and what interests do you intend to pursue?
Earn up to establish a business. If the business stays and will be established, enough to support a growing family, i will quickly resign from work and focus on the business... Gods help me!!
