161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 30, 2023, 09:42:55 PM
Energetic import of NLEX has been fired, he was a good one but the team decided to let him go.
Typically, no one dare to touch Pido. Politics..politics..politics everywhere on PBA.
This is not new, if you have the money and connections, you can still get out of it no matter what the issue is.
Well, that import deserve a better league and PBA might not meant for him. The PBA should be more strict when it comes to punishing whoever made a serious mistake and not the one who are the victim. This is the problem with PBA until now, there is too much politics and those who are on top always have the influence for every decisions.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: November 30, 2023, 09:29:34 PM
Stories like this will always give a reminder to the people that are thinking of doing the same. Sorry for you OP but I admire that you're strong to share this.

Because with usual stories that we hear is that we don't want other people to hear what we've been struggling and mostly, that we're gamblers because there's always the bad belief about us gamblers from people that don't gamble.
This is my biggest reason why I don’t borrow just to gamble because a lot can happen and the negative side of it are more prone to happen than to actually see you winning. This is not the first story about borrowing money just to gamble and I do hope that we already learn from the experience of others and we should take this seriously and think again if you are still planning to borrow. Gambling is very risky, always remind yourself to be more responsible.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 30, 2023, 02:08:51 PM
What kind of warning is this if you will not tell the exact exchange you're talking about.
I can only see Binance, Poloniex and Bittrex with this so called rumor or fun. Well, it's not advisable at all to hold any crypto on any exchange, there is no such thing as safe especially if you don't control your own wallet. Next time please be more specific so we can trust your warning, or else this thread will just be a normal spam thread.
164  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: November 30, 2023, 01:56:23 PM
This is beyond our control already pero sana hind pa ito final and mag appeal is Binance since they are already working for their permits if I'm not mistaken, not sure lang kung natuloy ba ito or still on process. Sa ngayon we should take precaution and follow the instruction of SEC.

Super laking kawalan sa atin nito pero hopefully the local exchanges will step up and provide a more quality service para sa mga pinoy, good thing here is that hinde naman totally ban is Crypto dito sa pinas.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: November 29, 2023, 09:50:18 PM
It is not needed anymore if you are 100% sure about your trade. In fact, there is no reason to use a stop loss if you are a daily trader because you know when to sell. Definitely, as a trader we already know what is good for us and if this strategy really works well. Of course, we know what we are doing and what would help to improve our trading results. Therefore, if we think the use of stop loss is not necessary, then there is no reason to use it as well. This strategy is usually used for the starters but not those who have experience already.
I’m wondering if there’s a real 100% sure about your trades and it looks like there’s no risk anymore.
And knowing when to sell is just like having a stop loss especially if the market didn’t favor your position. Stop loss is advisable even if you are a good trader already, just learned from those who got liquidated because of the market volatility, they don’t have the stop loss and that’s why they lose everything. Better to have this than to say sorry later on, you’ll lose nothing by just setting up your stop loss.
166  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance may issue na naman sa pinas! on: November 29, 2023, 09:19:50 PM
Is this a final decision already or Binance can still comply with the regulations?
Maganda ang market ng Binance dito sa Pinas and I’m sure marami ang maapektuhan nito though marami pa namang option na exchanges pero iba paren talaga si Binance. Let’s all hope that Binance will do something about this and help the Filipino community to still access the platform legally. Sana mas maging clear din si SEC about this and give Binance a chance to operate legally.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 29, 2023, 08:55:27 PM
1% gambling style is okay as long as it does not affect you financially. Some people prefer 5% and some more as the case may be according to their income. Although there is nothing bad about that and they settled for it because they feel it is within their capacity to handle even if they loss in the cause of gambling it would not affect them in anyways. I think this decision is quite alright for a responsible gambler and one who just gambles for fun.

Having this kind of budgeting strategy is always a good idea, this only means that you are being responsible and you really know where to spend your money the most. We know the risk of gambling and by doing this, you are eliminating such risk and you just gamble for fun and not for the profit since it is not guaranteed. You might be tempted to increase this budget though and its fine as long as you are still within the budget and as long as you are just spending your extra money.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: November 28, 2023, 09:53:42 PM
Trading might not works for everybody and that’s why they have to look for other options to make money and that is fine. If you are in trading, you should know how to make profit and know when to buy and sell because its all about your discipline and of course all about your strategy. Though I don’t agree that if you lose in trading you can just do your trading signal, affiliate or do a trading channel because how can you convince someone if you are losing in trading? This is still not a sure profit though.
169  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: November 28, 2023, 09:34:01 PM
Isa sa mga effective the marketing advertisement ang paglalagay ng Billboard and panigurado mas dadame ang magiging curious about this pero when it comes to awareness ay dipende paren kung sa anong research ang kanilang gagawin kase baka naman yung iba is maniwala nalang agad without doing their own research. We should always do our own fact check, kase hinde naten alam kung talaga bang totoo yung mga inaadvertise nila.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your big plans for the Bitcoin halving coming up in a few months? on: November 25, 2023, 09:46:46 PM
I am consistently reassessing and reevaluating my investment strategy as the halving could have a significant impact on the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins. The halving could also lead to a surge in interest in altcoins. As such, I am on the lookout for alternative investment opportunities. And, of course, dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a consistent investment I make. That's my plan, at least. What are your plans for the upcoming halving?
DCA is my simple strategy and I’ve been doing this since the bear market. I made some profit already considering the value of the market today but this is not my target yet and I’m very optimistic about the future of the market especially after the Bitcoin halving event, just like in the past I’m sure this can be big. Doing your best action now is advisable, don’t listed to fud and stay focus, bull will be more big this time.
171  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Miss Universe Coin issue on: November 25, 2023, 09:38:37 PM
If there’s a contract eh panigurado talo na dito ang JKN global and panigurado mas lalo lang silang mahihirapan makabangon because of this. We don’t know the contract or kung sino ba talaga ang nagviolate nito.

As far as my investing is concern, wala paren ako nakikitang magandang reason to deal with this kind of project, parang hype lang den na nakikisabay sa uso. Let’s see kung sino ang makikipagsettle at mananalo sa kasong ito.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with crypto because taxation makes no sense? on: November 25, 2023, 09:19:16 PM
I'd imagine that many people actually chose to gamble with crypto to avoid these restrictions and bureaucratic procedures. It really makes no sense to go through all these troubles to tax a small winning amount. Still if someone happened to win a large amount on a small bet by chance, I'd imagine some people would want to tax it so they can spend it in the real economy as fast as possible.

Gambling with crypto is no excuse for paying taxes but at least we can pay the taxes for net income instead of every win which is the biggest advantage in crypto casinos. And it makes sense though why the gambling industry is the place where crypto is used mostly nowadays so people don't really want to go through all these hurdles.
It should always be based on net income since we will compute with our losses as well.
Luckily, my country still allows us to gamble without forcing us to declare any income online or with crypto because there is no regulations yet and that is why many are slowly adapting crypto because this can be a tax free market, well at least for the purpose of crypto income. Paying such big amount of tax that will just go for a corrupt politicians is always a heartbreaking to many.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most important thing in a betting site on: November 25, 2023, 09:09:49 PM
In my case, it's the minimum limits that casinos set on their deposits and withdrawals because i'm mostly playing with smaller amounts. Checking the minimum withdrawal thread helped me several times in looking for a casino since it's a hassle to check every crypto casino and in other casinos, you can't find their limit unless you have an account to check their cashier page. Back then, I would've also mentioned reputation as the factor I prioritize the most, but now it's only helpful at a certain level because it matters less for me when their minimum is too high for my budget.
Casino are trying to suits in every complaints and demands from their customers, it's definitely going to be a long day for them and most of them don't end up satisfying their customers. Perhapes Everyone have a sectors to spots out in the system, casino imposing limits for deposits and withdrawals is keyed, I actually acknowledge that particular aspects. There we have the vast majority of gamblers that ready to risk everything in gambling, restriction should posed on casinos where it involves gamblers depositing more than their estimated cost.
The restrictions should not limit the gamblers to get their money easily and this is actually the problem in many site. Well, casinos are growing that fast as they continue to address the issues or concerns of the gambler they are trying to be more innovative as well and that’s why i wanted to see a new feature that the gambler can enjoy more while playing. A good betting site always have the best system, now my question is on how they will innovate the system and introduce something new.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 25, 2023, 08:55:19 PM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
Make them understand the risk of gambling and of course encourage your older family member not to talk about gambling in front of the gambling especially if you are just living in the same house. The older family member should be more responsible and should be the first one to understand the risk of it, I’m also against to this and I hope that you can educate your Children as early as now so they wont try it.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Country To Live In For Crypto Casinos?# on: November 25, 2023, 08:42:13 PM
My country can access crypto without being asked upon the completion of the KYC and I can say that our government is slowly supporting crypto, in fact they are already encouraging people to cryptocurrency. If this is the only reason then I can say my country which is the Philippines is one of the best option or country to live in if you want to gamble online plus we also have a good tourist destinations where you can spend your time whole you are playing online.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting today. on: November 25, 2023, 03:10:57 PM
Lucky not to see this thread during the coronation night or else I’ll just lose the money because Philippines is my bet, and the odds also tells why. The current Miss Universe competition seems to be more intense and competitive, those participants did their best but only one remains on top. Despite of the rumors of a cooking show, I still believe Nicaragua also deserve the title because she’s a total package and lucky to those who bet with her and won the prize.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 24, 2023, 09:47:29 PM
I’m always positive and more optimistic every time I gamble but most of the time the result is different and this is why I limit my exposure and limit my expectation as well, because your winning in gambling will always depend on your luck though manifesting to win might help but still its not a guarantee. We know the risk of this, and its good to have a positive attitude regardless of the result as you are more confident that you know what you are doing and you are still within the budget.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether publishes transaparency report daily, why is it suspicious stablecoin? on: November 24, 2023, 09:38:49 PM
What title says, I don't understand, so I ask.

https://tether.to/en/transparency/
Having that report daily doesn’t guarantee anything especially if you are a centralized coin that can manipulate the data itself. We can’t deny that many are starting to hate stablecoins in general for some purpose, probably they are seeing something here that might not be good for their investment strategy. Tether started to lose their reputation because of their past issues and having this report daily can’t help that much to regain the trust of the public again.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: November 24, 2023, 09:22:11 PM
I've never been lucky with slot games, never, and I am not pleased about it to be honest.
What about you?
This is a pure luck based game and a machine generated result which the system favors the house so technically, winning here is like hitting the jackpot that can only happen once in a while. This kind of betting machine can’t guarantee any profit and yes this could be a waste of time of money but still many finds this game interesting and more fun to gamble with. If you can see, most of the gambler in casinos are playing slot machines maybe because its easy to play and easy to understand.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 24, 2023, 09:11:01 PM
I have observed that the rich, I mean those who are financially comfortable, win more in gambling than the poor. By poor, I mean those who do not have enough to meet all their needs. I don't know the reason for this. Could it be that the rich understand financial management more? Or could it be that the rich are less desperate to win which make them make better gambling decision? I really want to know the reason for this pattern I have observed.
Rich people know how to handle their finances and they have a large leverage and capital to spend with and that’s why most of them win a lot but its hard to tell on how much money they’ve already loss because they are not monitoring their gambling activities anymore. In gambling we all depend in luck when winning, and that’s the reality regardless of your capital.
