How can you tell if it's a BOT? much A ton of spam :p and not much being said... Spam generally comes from Pool Mining Sites. But I think its very important to advertise good promotional idea's. New ways to get people interested in DOGEcoin is profitable. For-example: The Free DOGEcoin wallet greeting card: http://spelunk.in/2013/12/17/free-dogecoin-christmas-wallet-art/This is a great idea. The more idea's like this will lead to more opportunities. Their needs to be more discussions on how to achieve long term / increased value for DOGEcoin. This is beyond spam. lol Its the same hype and promise of great riches that has led many a bagholder to their crypto grave. There is NOTHING to justify the bloated value of DOGE. Those that buy it with fiat and/or BTC are fools asking for a bag. It could easily be worth .10 cents in less than a year. Lets say Bitcoin is like a $1000 dollar bill. And Litecoin is a $100 bill. Then Doge could easily be worth a dime or .10 cents. But if goes to .10 cents then their is a good chance it could be worth $1. The social networking generation will take this coin to new levels and I don't think anyone can stop it. It will continue to spread like a virus. Social spam is why facebook is a multi-billion dollar company. But socializing is not spam. It's legitimate value is based on public opinion. MARKETING 101. MUCH FUN! I don't think it's bloated because DOGE because it's value is based on it's usefulness. Some may argue that it more useful than Bitcoin. And as more and more people use it it will become just as a valid currency as Bitcoin. It actually helps Bitcoin and crypto-currencyes because it could bring a very large marketing segment into the game. The types of people who back their favorite crypto-currency is it's greatest asset. Many people like DOGE because it's MUCH FUN! plus MANY LAUGHS! From this, you will get MANY USES & MUCH PROFIT. |

This actually makes DOGE worth more. it's psychological. What would you rather own; 10,000 Coins or .00001 of a coin? Which sounds more rewarding? What math is easier for common folk? Maybe 100 Billion coins is actually of one of DOGE's greatest strength? If only 100,000 people owned 1,000,000 DOGEcoins that would equal 100,000,000,000. For only .5 BTC one can become a DOGE-millionaire. For many, $350 is small investment considering the possibilities. That's the same theory I have  Which would you rather own? 10 million grains of sand or 1 diamond? LOL!! I'd be happy with the diamond! Do not fear block rewards will be halved within 2 months and then we will see positive price movements. The 3 things working against the coin right now.
1. Block Rewards to high.
2. As per point one multipool users using it to dump out.
3. Most importantly BTC price is basically 50% down from previous highs.
When the 3 points above turn into positives, we will see a value of +-140 . Even at current btc thats what the value should be but the block reward is just too high atm.
Can't we just ask the dev to change the code and decrease the total to 50 billion and halve the block reward from today The huge amount of coins being mined for the next 2 months should keep prices relatively on the low side. This should allow many new people the chance to buy cheap coins at the ground floor which is better than having a few people own all the coins at a higher rate. This is fair and more decentralized. Having a long term vision of many NEW crypto holders is key. Wow. Much fun. Many Laughs. Such Profit. |

When block mining starts rewarding less coins I can see the price start going back up and take the way of infinite coin.
Infinite Coin doesn't have the same community belief or marketing to compete with DOGE. I've never seen so many altCoins on eBay as DOGE: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=dogecoin&_sop=12Many people are experiencing Crypto Currency for the first time. This actually helps Bitcoin more than people realize. DOGE is another vehicle to bring people onto the Crypto-train. Now that's worth something! DOGE has the potential to be lifted up to all new levels. All it may take is some creativity on YouTube going viral throughout the social networks and BAM!  Belief is very powerful and it only takes a dedicated few. |

Hmm this might just be a game changer.. Since youre just starting to introduce this coin - for the love of god look at what viral advertising has turned Dogecoin into. Here's something I posted in another thread: I like dogecoin because it is the proof that marketing, be it by a snazzy name or proper advertising or such, plays a major role in the success of a coin. The technical concept for a coin can be flawless but the coin will still fail if not properly advertised.
Some people call it a gagcoin, I call it an eye opener. For this coin to succeed, please keep this in mind. I agree about Dogecoin. Good marketing is key. But child like faith can move mountains. |
