I don't see cryptocurrencies dying anytime soon except in the future something other than this comes up through technological breakthroughs. I have a friend who was caught in the web of the price surge in late 2017. He bought Ethereum above $1000 and he is still holding till today because he got angry and said he wouldn't sell below what he bought. I keep asking him when he feels the price will get to that amount or surpass it. Real-life use cases of some of these digital assets will definitely raise the bar towards more enlightenment and adoption.
Bringing Bitcoin to zero is a near impossibility and probably mere thought, many projects have come and gone while Bitcoin still stands. There is no gainsaying in that Bitcoin has no clear rival for the very now and in the nearest future. CAnnot wait to see that project of yours surfacing and let's see if it can stand the test of time. It's easier to talk than putting such words into action.
Adoption of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment is going to Ben gradual and with such moves by these clubs will open the eyes of many to see digital assets (cryptocurrencies) in another light. In the next few years, it will be massive in the sports arena.
I do not agree with Craig Wright being the Satoshi we all crave to know. His recognition by the US government isn't evident enough for the majority of crypto enthusiasts to believe such. I'm very confident he is and hope many won't fall for this. I await the day the real Satoshi will be revealed.
Having a means to exchange or convert cryptocurrency to fiat is a very welcomed development. When will such service get to Nigeria because this is where I reside presently. With lesser charges and smooth operation more people will embrace cryptocurrency, its a sure way of investment and also Plutus creating an ecosystem where cryptocurrencies can easily be converted to fiat (normal money like USD, EURO) through its debit card is awesome. This is truly a clear way of bringing cryptocurrencies to the spotlight.
The issue raised should be a personal decision to hold or not because so many projects are not seeing the light of the day after launching. There are instances, you will hold your tokens and later regret you didn't sell. If you go by percentage regarding the ones that will turn out good compared to the ones that will lead to regret, you will agree with me that the negative outcome has higher percentage.
I think it is just a matter of time, using cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment will get the utmost publicity and adoption it deserves. Like, its rightly stated that Bitcoin is being used for payment for services in the Philippines, it will get the desired attention with time. Its already a movement that cannot be tamed but nurture to grow.
Massive adoption of cryptocurrency in Africa will be a big boost because of the huge population and its exponential growth but governments of various countries are not supportive of this. Africans need to see digital currencies more as a medium of exchange, where it can be used to purchase commodities other than an investment where you buy at low prices and sell when the price goes up. More awareness campaigns are needed in this regard.
