Guys, i just wanted to know if nicehash's problems have been solved? I used to come here and see complaint after complaint about how their service doesn't work properly, does the problem still exist or has it been solved?
Of all the pools it still has the highest rejects / disconnects / general hickups for me. Still using it because after subtracting the % downtime B/MH/Day is still best. Our system is stable and GPU miners that are using current sgminer_V5 ( https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sgminer) should't have any issues at all. General issues with high rejects and disconnects are related mainly to custom software versions of cgminer in various ASIC miners. Unfortunately we don't have access to all ASIC machines and thus can't test them all. If you are a Scrypt ASIC miner and you experience issues, please help us improve compatibility by sending us an email to info@nicehash.com with: - Scrypt ASIC device details (model, version) - mining software details (cgminer, bfgminer, version) - geographical location of your miners with ping report to IP 159.253.132.18 (this is just a network test server) - details (if possible with logs) about the issues when mining on NiceHash (reject rate, number of disconnects, reports of miner being idle or hangs, etc.) If you can send us these details to info@nicehash.com (subject: "issues when mining on NiceHash") we will try to resolve issues and improve compatibility. Thanks for using NiceHash!

I don't know why, but there is another build under it labeled '1' instead of '21' that I have not tried yet.
Note the name sgminer- dev-daily-20140725-1-win32.zip - we've added also nightly builds for develop branch of sgminer: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/develop ... it has support for Fresh algo, etc. ... it is expected for the v5.0 branch to stabilise and new features will be added to develop branch only.

Woha, it is really awesome to see this thread alive agian I was a big fan of middlecoin in it's early days - brilliant innovative idea, outstanding profits and misterious operator (h2o) ... And it is trully unbelivable that this pool is still alive ... still so many miners. However, I do not believe that this pool runs by itself ... 5 (or more) servers, distibuted database, connections to exchanges ... no way that this runs by itself - especially if you look at the history of middlecion with no so many but stil occasional issues, downtime, etc. ... Ayway, it is great to see a cryptocion service still being alive (even though slowly fading away) after more then a year! Congratulations to h2o who is for sure on some beach with a beer in his left hand and a wallet, full of Bitcoins in his right hand

@nicehashdev: I think that the profit counting system has a problem. For example at this moment:
X11 19.3508 GH/s 0.6101 BTC/GH/Day X13 6.2532 GH/s 0.6997 BTC/GH/Day X15 4.4849 GH/s 0.7123 BTC/GH/Day
X11 is the best profit coin, but nicehash points to X15.
Other example: sometimes when X13 has higher paying rate than X15 but the system also choices X15 as the most profit coin.
So I think X15 profit counting formula is not right. Please check.
We are using our defaults to calculate factors between different algorithms that hopefully suits the vast majority, you can see them in the table here: https://www.nicehash.com/multialgo/. However, if your per-algo performances are different, you can set your own factors: https://www.nicehash.com/multialgo/#finetuning. Of course, this means that the currently best-paying algo as displayed on the front page might not be the same as the one that fits your custom config. Hashing speed hightly depends on AMD drivers version (13.x vs 14.6), sgminer version and windows/linux. Maybe it is time to re-adjust our default factors, so please post your hashing speed here, if we'll get enough responses we'll adjusts the defaults. For example: 0.85 MH/s for Scrypt 3.75 MH/s for X11 2.80 MH/s for X13 2.50 MH/s for X15

This seems to be an issue with our multi-algo processor on new system ... working on it now ... Fixed, multi-algo should work correctly now.

After the maintenance today I canceled an order and now the remaining coins in that order are gone...balance 0.
No coins are gone, rest assure. We have upgraded accounting system to dramatically increase orders and transaction processing in the online wallet. Some transactions have been redirected to the old system, but everything is accounted for, don't worry. If you believe your account ledger is not accurate, please write an email to info@nicehash.com and let us know your account username, order # and amount of BTC in question. Thanks for understanding! Also the bitcoin address for deposits is gone and I had to create a new one.
Yes, this is a security requirement for the accounting system upgrade. It is actually wise to re-generate your deposit address once in a while - this goes for all systems with on-line wallets!

Service upgrade completed successfully.
Providers / rig owners: it might take a while for DNS to propagate, if your miner can't connect to stratum.nicehash.com, flush DNS on your rigs.
Buyers: All buyers have new deposit address. Check your wallet before loading Bitcoins.

Service downtime notification: Maintenance scheduled for 2014-07-08. Service will be unavailable between 8 am and 11 am UTC - we expect around 2 hours downtime. Server and application upgrade will be performed. Orders will be paused, no shares will be impacted. Thanks for understanding and thanks for using NiceHash!

Hi, I have a problem with configuration on nicehash stratum server with Scrypt (port 3333). I put on my config d=2048 as password, but i receive share with 32 diff or 128 diff or 4096 diff. I never receive share with the diff I have put Why ? Your miner may sometimes work with lower or higher difficulty since the difficultly you set is only a preferred difficulty and the actual difficulty depends on the current orders at NiceHash.com. This is completely normal.

For all of you who are using NiceHash: today we had another DDoS (purely network related), I'm sorry for that. Nothing was lost, but as you've experienced there has been lots of disconnects both from providers rigs an buyers orders. Some miners might still having issues by not being able to connect due to several disconnects and invalid shares resulting into unwanted bans - this will be sorted by the end of the day by automatic un-ban (for valid miners). We'll improve our DDoS protection by moving to another, better DDoS protected location. Service is now working normally and all download links are alive. Thanks for understanding and thanks for using NiceHash.
