21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / where exactly are files stored on an Android device? on: September 17, 2016, 10:39:05 AM
Hi,

First of all, I don't have any issues like lost coins, etc, I'm just looking for some detailed information:

1. Where exactly are private keys and other application files stored (Android 4.3)? There is no /data/data/de.schildbach.wallet/ folder on the device (looked for ../data in device storage and sd card).

2. When this app is uninstalled from a device, does it make complete cleanup, deletes all private keys, etc?

Thanks for answers.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1 on: September 16, 2016, 07:11:34 AM
Hi,

I would like to get some information regarding ethminer performance on NVIDIA on Windows10.

We know there are issues with mining on Windows 10, so I'd like to know you experience (assuming you're using LATEST drivers and LATEST ethminer version)

1. What is your speed for either GTX 960/970/980 (any Maxwell 5.2 essentially) on Windows 7? Is it the same as on Windows 10?

2. And the same for Pascal - what is your speed for either GTX 1060/1070/1080 (any Pascal 6.1 essentially) on Windows 7? Is it the same as on Windows 10?

Thanks!

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 23, 2016, 01:35:38 PM
but I've made several fixes to that, which you can find here https://github.com/hyc/wolf-xmr-miner/tree/daemon

Can you provide Windows binaries? Are there any known issues when building for windows?

Hello,

Is there any working open-source (not Claymore) miner for AMD GPUs?

Thanks!

@Epsylon3, do you have any plans for adding support for Sia algorithm? It was recently added to sgminer with stratum support: https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/commits/master
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS RX 4xx or R9 3xx/2xx - RELEASED on: July 14, 2016, 08:35:33 PM
1. Why is default Ubuntu language Ubuntu Polish (@tytanick I guess you're from Poland)? It would be nicer to have it default in English for those who would like to mess around with some Ubuntu tweaks.

2. Please note that in case this USB stick is booted on a PC with active integrated on-board GPU (for example Intel on-CPU GPU) with AMD card as secondary card, it won't boot properly (X won't load). If possible you should fix this (not sure if it is even possible due to AMD drivers issues) or else warn users to disable integrated on-board GPU before booting from SimpleMining.net Easy OS

Keep up the good work!
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS RX 4xx or R9 3xx/2xx - RELEASED on: July 14, 2016, 06:01:16 AM
There is one annoying thing about this image - it requires "big" 16 GB USB stick ... I tried two different USB sticks which are 16 GB (on is approx 15.500.000.000 bytes, one approx 15.700.000.000 bytes) and USB Image tools is complaining about being too small ... I had to use 32 GB USB stick to make it work. You should make smaller images, that would fit on any 16 GB US stick.
29  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: July 09, 2016, 12:28:09 PM

My graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD) do not.
Is there another way to invest in the site?
Like https://hashocean.com?

Please take a look at the Getting started page: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=gstarted

Unlike traditional, often failed investment based cloud mining services, NiceHash provides purely technological advanced cloud mining experience. As a buyer you can put quick orders and rent massive amount of hashing power, point it to a pool of your choice and mine Bitcoins or any other altcoins such as Litecoin, Dash and other emerging digital currencies. By taking advantage of variable coins mining difficulty and smart trading you can make great profits with hashing power, rented through NiceHash service.

Your're also welcome to watch the Getting Started video here: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=gstarted#buyer

I cant just set the miner to pools like Mining Rig Rentals or Nice Hash.
Is anyone having the same issue as me?

Make sure to upgrade to latest firmware: https://bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=00720160628032419599ebY2YSlj06DE

Original firmware has some bugs that were fixed in firmware updates.

I've done some benchmarking on Linux as well as Windows rigs with older drivers (15.xxx) and I observe much much lower speed for AMD GPUs in the 1.1.x branch compared to 1.0.x branch (1.1.x being like 50% slower). Anybody else observing this? Genoil, were there any OpenCL changes from 1.0.x to 1.1.x?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1 on: June 17, 2016, 01:05:16 PM
so how can i download it Cheesy

As always: https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/110/releases

Regarding this:

Quote
generate the DAG on 1 GPU and then distribute it via system RAM to the other GPUs. Usage:  -L single <n>, where <n> is the GPU ID

Please note that if you have multiple different GPUs, choose the fastest one with -L <n> ... this will make sure DAG will be generated as fast as possible and will be even faster distributed to other GPUs via system memory.

Keep on mining Wink

Yes I do make custom diff at worker

I put password as d=131072

But nothing the Titan does not locked that diff per worker why that happen?Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Huh Huh Huh Cheesy

jelin1984, please see again the https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqs10 FAQ.

Note: Your miner may sometimes work with lower or higher difficulty since the difficultly you set is only a preferred difficulty and the actual difficulty depends on the current orders at NiceHash. This is completely normal.

Due to the nature of our service you can not fix diff as with normal pools, but the vardiff with additional diff set by "d=" parameter should work OK. Let me know if you need some other info.

how i must connetc at nicehash with titan miner?

also how i put

set custom difficulty?Huh

i simple put at password d=131072
or do something else?

Take a look at this FAQ for details: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=software#scrypt

You don't need to set custom difficulty since we're using vardiff, but if you prefer to set custom diff you can take a look at this FAQ: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqs10

Do you have any pictures of the miners with your username and date on?

Also is escrow ok?

Escrow is fine, sure. I don't have any pictures of running AntMiners, because most of them are already shut down & in boxes ... but I did fire up SP35 yesterday to make some photos: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1398523.0

This is a good deal, those AntMiners are as good as new.
