Today silver is a great buy and tomorrow it is a horrible buy.
I do not remember the name, but I think it was something "raw...."?

Huh Huh Huh Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

Okay, I'll be nice, I'm not Rawdog, but if you would read my words in George Takei's voice your experience will be improved immensely.

I see.

disclaimer: i sold a lot

Sold a little (BTC400) during the last 3 days (so far).

and you keep harping on that one without end.

Even if that were the case, it does not compel you to post solely to state the fact. It is called obsession, and is unfitting for longer time members such as you, and makes everyone here think you are gay.

so you're homophobic too? Grin

NoHomoCoin is born!

And if you really want to show you're not gay, you'd better buy some quick!

You are the real flipflop from YouTube community?  Roll Eyes

Do elaborate....

When decising whether to sell or not - just calculate the probabilities. For example, if you give a probability for crash 20 % - then simply sell 20 % of BTC-holdings.
If you give a probability of 50 % for crash, then sell 50 % of your stash and by this way actively manage your BTC-holdings.
When you give a probability for rise 20 %, then buy with 20 % of your disposal cash.

By this way, you will be richer than the average BTC-holder. Risto is trading because he is beating the markets. This is why I rather follow him than anyone of you who just advice "hold hold hold no matter if it crashes tomorrow - just hold like an idiot".

No, if it crashes tomorrow with 100 % - I will sell 100 % of them right now - give me even one reason why I shouldn't do this?
I gave 90 % probability for drop and sold 90 % of my BTC-holdings and I will rebuy them with discounted prices. If I am not able to do that, I am still happy with the dollars that I made with BitCoins. Then I will leave the stage with a handful of cash and only 10 % on the initial BTC-holdings.

In any case, buying high and selling low is not advisable!

+1

These coins I bought some of them sub 100 levels, the vast majority has been bought around 400-600 dollars. Now I am reading Rpietila's analysis and I have to admit I have "bought them". He is bearish and he has been usually right so it is probably smart to follow him.
I think even this price it is excellent time to sell - it is still far more than 300-400 USD.  Wink

Given the position I'm trying to get into for compliance, short term tarding would just be foolish.  Add to that that I think by the time I'm ready to liquidate a significant portion they'll be worth more than they are today, I'm hodling, hodling from bitcoin tarding.

Does that make you a hodling tard then ?

I am holder as the price is rising and let the others be holders in turn when the price turns.
I will be buyer only when I know I am making money. The loosers will hold BTC when the price drops and they are not in position of adding some more coins as they are all-in already.

Rpietila seems a reputable in his views.
I think we all should read his writings, learn him, try to figure out his mood and based on this, sell or buy coins.
The price will go quite low if we can trust him - usually we can. He made his bearish call correctly last time while all were laughing at his face, spitting on him and considering him as slain of God, the man of sorrows, the friend of pains etc.

After all, he made his trades and tons of money. Now those of you who do not follow his paths right now will loose as the price eventually crashes.
He is making money so why shouldn't I do it with him? I hope you guys here are also in the same boat with me. It is not that difficult to turn from bull to bear. I did it after I found Rpietila did it also.  Cool

How many bitcoins did Rpietila pay you to write this crap up? Rpietila made money because he's been into bitcoin for quite a while. Hard to not make tons of money during the past year unless you're an idiotic permabear.

Bulls are not buying significiantly more coins - so the only way to get more demand for the coins is the changing behaviour of bears.
The bears will not change => BTC will crash and the bears change their views.
In my opinion, it is idiotic to be permanent bull. Rpietila has sold his bitcoin holdings (a part of it or even the whole position) so it is smart to convince him to rebuy the coins even higher prices - I think you are not going to succeed.
I am following the money so I need to follow Rpieitila's movements and trades if I can learn also and make some real cash in the side.

Rpietila, you can donate some coins in case you even have them at these levels any left...  Wink

i've read your last few posts, how much is he paying you? lol

Should I ask him a donation? Smiley I have my adress here below so anyone can send me some BTC because I have lack of them but plenty of cash that is not going to be thrown to BTC at these prices.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 28, 2013, 08:15:10 PM

btw. i sold major portion, im now 80/20 (usd/btc)

Some of yours coins are belonging to me now. :-)

And mine
You are welcome  Wink

Thanks for a nice xmas

And this is why nobody should listen to anybody for trading advice on this forum.

It's great that some people get lucky and make profits, and that experienced traders use volatility to their advantage. It creates market depth, which is a good thing.

I'm probably preaching to the choir, but there are sharks in the water and most noobs are armed with little more than a leaky inner tube Smiley

Now what I'd like to see are traders who brag about their bad trades. That would be entertaining, and sobering to newbies who think its easy to "double their stash".

i "bragged" little while ago how i bought back with 45 coin loss, now i sold again and its possible that i have to buy back with loss again

If you trade like Rpietila, you will not be buying them with a loss.
Just waite until the price drops and there are blood all over the streets. Ask always, what would Rpietila do in this situation and you are on the side of moneymakers instead of loosers' side.

Cheers! Be good to your mom as one guy from da down-under used to say on youtube!  Cool

If Rpietila is bear-mood, the bulls should panic and sell their coins as fast as possible. It is horrifying how accurate are his predictions. He is here making some serious money and knows how to do it.
Our job is to listen his advice, follow his paths and also become as rich as he is.  Grin

Why not sell while you still get quite decent amount of dollars per coin.  Cool

you panic sold at 680?

Rpietila gave his bearish call before it hit 680. I did not sell at this price - I sold at 730 and 731 90 % of my BitCoins because I will rebuy them with a decent discount as Rpietila predicts.
However, 680 is quite expensive price to pay for a coin if this plays in the same way as it did on spring/summer.

175  Economy / Speculation / Re: I predict BTC/USD will fall to $2 by December 31, 2013 on: December 28, 2013, 07:21:30 PM
BTC value should be around 2-10 dollars.
My argument is the following: WorldCoin costs less than a dollar despite the fact that they will be minted roughly only 10 times as many as BTC so the long term BTC/WDC should be 0.10 BTC/WDC. This gives the BTC estimated value being less than 10 dollars...
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've cashed out but this is not the end. on: December 28, 2013, 07:04:00 PM
I have cashed out also.
I read Rpietila's writings and he is saying we will have pretty low prices ahead (300-400 USD).
I have been following BTC for some time - despite I am new in the forum - so I see this exactly the same as last spring/summer. Now the price is down-trend and it should really find the strong support level that we need to rest for some time before BitCoin is ready to go to the moon.
There are plenty of money being made if you just now sell your coins and waite that all the others are following you and then rebuy them 50 % lower. It means, you get with the same fiat 100 % more coins and as the price restarts to climb up, you have twice as many coins as you would otherwise have.  Cool
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCurrency update on: December 27, 2013, 09:15:43 PM
Seems there is a lot of selling pressure in WDC - it might test 0.0005000-levels...  Huh
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: worldcoin undervalued? on: December 27, 2013, 10:39:50 AM
EarthCoin really doesn't bring up anything new.
It is a cheap copy of the real thing - WorldCoin.
WorldCoin is the original fast coin and it shall stand like that.

Personally I wouldn't bother buying EarthCoins I stick to WDC.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading profit on: December 26, 2013, 11:57:40 PM
My trading trick # 1:

Buy WorldCoin and do not sell.
If you trade it, you will win in terms of dollars but probably loose in terms of WDCs. You know, it is impossible to loose dollars with WDC - if you loose dollars, it means you are a horrible trader.
Now it is quite cheap so it is excellent time to hoard.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dump your DogeCoins so you have cash for the real money: WDC on: December 25, 2013, 08:59:55 PM
Now it is excellent time to start dumping the Dogecoins which are jokes and focus on the real thing - WorldCoin.
The future of WDC is brighter than the sun in our solar system, the price has potential to go beyond Orion and the coin is even better than any giants - even BTC not to mention USD.
There is 10 trillion USD in circulation currently, this gives the WDC the conservative target price of 37 000 dollars each so it doesn't really matter whether you pay your coins for 0,5 USD, 5 USD, 50 USD, 500 USD or 5000 USD because each of these sums it is quite save and riskless to purchase the coins.
As long as the coin is below 37 000 USD per coin, I suggest you to regularly buy more coins and do not sell them - just spend them when the tarding is done with WDC only.
