May I ask which version software you guys are running? (because you seem to be running more than 8 chips on a board)
On a side note, personally I am running mine stably on 1440 MHz, and on average 17.7 Mh/s on nicehash per 8 chip board (I can run them up to 1500 MHz). If you guys are interested I can adapt the driver so that it should accept more chips and/or boards.

Also check the polarity of the power going to the boards with the original power supply. I had to switch the plus and minus with the pcu I am using due to the connector being different.

If a reasonably recent update of Firefox isn't good enough for them, THEY have an issue.
I suspect more that they do broken wierd stuff like Github (that I also have MAJOR issues trying to use) that doesn't use STANDARD download capabilities.

Looking very good. I took some time to take the controller board out of the miner and making some photo's with my phone. I merged the photo's with photoshop, that is why some parts look a little weird. (somehow the back didn't want to merge that well). http://www.miniclip.com/games/agar-io/en/#t-n-H#t-n-GAnyone ever think to reach out to some game like that and try to give it purpose? those small "cells" could be some small amount (0.001) of GMC and when eating other players you would get what they collected also,... to enter game you would need to pay few GMC and when you collect (i don't know) like 100 or 200 GMC you win and start over or something like that  there are so many people playing that game just hunting colored dots right now,...just a thought We actually had a discussion regarding this game. And we totaly agree with you, we thought it would be a great one for GMC implementation. However, various games are already in the planning and making stage. If you were to want to create an Agario like game with a GMC implementation, I think I can speak for the Dev's that we will support you in that. |

How do you modify the fan power output? Are PWM fans compatible with the miner? I'm looking for a way to stop the fans from spinning at 100% all the time, my room temperature is cool enough where it doesnt need to run at full speed 24/7. .. besides that, they're ridiculously loud.

The stock fans run full power, they cannot be adjusted. I have put different fans in it, that are more quite and can be adjusted (by thermocouple, although I use them at 100% speed) in speed. (replaced the one stock fan with 3 of these, less power, less noise)  |

As the *unofficial* tweaker of your A2 software ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672969.0) and hardware my experience with is very positive. The hardware is very sturdy, well build, tweakable, and very hard to break (unless you mess up while modding the hardware, but than that is my fault ofcourse  ). I would love to test one of your new A4 miners and write an extensive review about them. I think my reputation on the A2 miner hardware and software would add value to your brand and the new A4's. Maybe we can work something out? |

It works great on the first try.
I was able to connect with DHCP by finding the IP address on my router control screen.
However, when I turned it off, and moved the miner a little, and then turned on again, and re-connected it, the a2 miner stopped mining after that. I looked inside the front fan area and can see green lights blinking on and off on all boards. I'm not sure, but maybe it's a hardware issue? I sent Innosilicon an email and they said some boards might need to be reseated. Do you have any advice or instructions on reseating the boards?
If I understand it correctly and it is not a typo and you mean reseating intead of resetting than that probably means checking all connections. Plugging everything off and on again. |

However the software requires more attention as MarkAz's, as he has auto restart options etc. Extranounce subscription: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672969.0Hey emdje, since you're actually been working in the CGminer code, is my understanding of extranonce correct? Meaning that it's meant to allow more permutations to be performed without a work request to the pool? So for things like BTC that's running at the TH level, it makes a big difference, but for things running at the MH, it's far less relevant. And in terms of underclocking, yours definitely supports more levels, I basically just do 100MH steps down to 600 and call it a day, whereas yours pretty much exposes all the steps so you can really tweak it if you're so inclined. To be truly honest I do not know the technical details of extranonce, it was a request to put it in, and I basically copy pasted the right code to the right place without much research because it worked right away. And yes true I can basically use almost any MHz level on the binary scale that is (if you look in the programmers guide of the A2 you can see various binary instructions for some of the settings, the rest is just an interpolation from that data put into the driver file). Chip voltage is important though, otherwise uderclocking still uses a lot of energy or when overclocking you get a lot of hardware errors (currently @1400MHz, 17.1 MH per card, and 5.4% HW errors) |

I have been mining with A2 110MH for about 2.5 months now.
I am saving to get another 110MH and would like to try out your firmware.
Can you send me the latest version download link?
Also, is there any improvements that I can do to the stock 110MH in areas of power savings and less heat.
The fans are very loud but pushes tons of hot air -- is this worth improving?
