Hello devs, can that ICO reach hardcap? I wonder what do you think about that.
Only time will tell, but this project has all it needs to be able to reach it. Great team and huge experience in this sector and some partnerships already signed that are quite relevant. Every project starts out by believing they will reach the hardcap and there's no reason to think otherwise. Even if they don't they can still do plenty with what they accumulate up until that point. Exactly, it is always great to reach the hardcap, but even if project does not reach it, it can still be very successful. That is lots of money anyway. Exactly, I would rather choose team burning 20% of the tokens than reaching hard cap with 60-70% bonuses, and that’s what bunch of ICOs are doing. Exactly and they just devalue the coin and entire project that way. I also have to say that I do not like all these stinky bonuses. They just make the devaluation much greater. |

That’s why I always first check the project website for all relevant information. Then only I look into all other details externally. Most information in the project website should be legible. Check, whether the same is conveyed by the team in their social media channels. |

I am not sure that releasing such information is standard practice. It could impact sales (positively or negatively) and give a heads up to the potential competition. I don't think that's good business practice. During public sale it’s pretty much standard practice, but yes, if sale is not going good, it might discourage others from joining. I personally prefer to know about every cent collected. |

Can vouch for this, I watched the vids on my free time, it does a good job of covering the basics, on figuring out if this is a project you want to be in or not, the whitepaper can be a bit overwhelming, but honestly once you decide to invest, you really should read it when you get time, as it goes into the whole project to really give you a good understanding of how things will work. Moreover, when it comes to investing large sums, you must know all the nuances of the project. For your own good, it's better to go deeper and read the technical document, to avoid questions in the future. The more transactions there is the more load on the network and infrastructure, but hopefully Vitalik’s team will do their best so we won't experience these kind of problems and will avoid slow transactions under a heavy load in future when lots of people will be using the platform. I still remember what those cryptokitties did, I sure hope that won’t be a problem in the future. Yeah, cryptokitties were a real craze. No transactions were going through and there was like 16k pending transactions at the time. Scalability is big issue in general in crypto, but as I said it's good to see that Ethereum team is already thinking about it and partnered with companies to avoid those kind of situation hopefully. |
