161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How will this change the world of mining?? GTX 1080 / 1070 on: May 21, 2017, 07:31:30 AM
@FULLZERO

At current rates you would be projected to generate $572 a month mining ZEC with optimal OC on 7x 1070s.
Edit: I just checked and for the first time in a very long time it looks like its actually more profitable to be mining ETH with 1070s.  But ZCL or HUSH still are better.

Mind sharing your soft setup for each coin you have tried on your nvidias?  (perhaps sample of CMD /keys /pool) thanks

it is indeed not the best way to make a tests, but, hey you are taking this too seriously... the diff is only 4-5mhs  Cool)
it just felt that w10 makes this diff.

hardware is different, however, the asus vids and win10 are on lga775 based board/chipset, while others are all newer, z170, all vids are FE's
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: May 19, 2017, 03:18:09 AM
back to the question of SLI / WIN10 benefits...

i have two systems in hand right now, one runs 2x asus 1080ti fe at 1481/1582 clocks on WIN10 / SLI and 2x nvidia 1080ti fe at 1481/1582 clock sli bridge connected but gpu-z says sli is disabledm having these setups i have

ASUS producing 125,6 MHs (nicehash)
NVIDIA producing 121,4 MHs (nicehash)

and a single EVGA 1080ti fe 1481/1582 clock producing 62,5MHs (nicehash)

so clocks all the same, temps are same, the only difference is win7/win10 i probably wont take sli in to consideration as a single 1080ti fe on same clocks does 64,5mhs and if doubled we get 125mhs non sli, so....

it looks like WINDOWS 10 IS ACTUALLY MAKES it a little bit better - imho
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: May 18, 2017, 05:41:48 AM
Can some explain this to me?

nvidia 980ti has produced 990MHs on NeoScrypt making 12.45$ a day Nicehash miner ..........while......
nvidia 1080ti has produced only 442MHs on NeoScrypt making 1.08$ a day Nicehash miner  ?!

It did not seem to be a glitch, as it was working stable for quite some time... some quick price fluctuation? (ye right)

In WIN10 you can actually edit Update rules wia GPE or REGEDIT.
My win10 are fine and no unusual behaviour.
Win10 bigger hashrate somehow relates to DX12? i did not notice any difference in hashing on 1080ti's or 1070's ... is it really better on win10 ?

if you want to hide yourself.  you could download a wallet get a btc addy.
- i understand this part.
question was geared towards more of a _profit_difference_ in comparison to "uniminer" software directly (auto/pilot mode with only added addy) vs registering on site and selling hash power vs no registration, but using command line interface via claymoore/ccminer/etc directly, attached to either nicehash pool, or other pools.
I saw a screenshot of a Philipma1957 where Nicehash sell power stats are shown and there was like only 1-2 protocols/coins mined with huge accent on ETH... with impressive daily stats...  so, after seeing that, a question came to my mind - should i do same(sell hashpower) vs just mine it via Nicehash "universal miner" I wont remember where i saw that screenshot, been through too many posts since that...

p.s. my stats look like quarters aka they split by about 25% on each protocol - lbry/daggerhashimoto/equihash/lyra2rev2 this is how nicehash uniminer switching between them for better profitability in autopilot mode

what are tickers for those coins?
lbry - LBC
Daggerhashimoto - ETH (not ETC right?)
equihash - ZEC (?)
lyra2rev2 - Huh

is DASH any good for mining right now?

trying to figure out what wallet will be best to hold all, as of right now everything goes to BTC addy and perhaps i should consider mining exact coins directly...

It's a 6 pin  Wink. Still doubt that will be enough.
- well, manufacturer certainly tested this design before putting in to a mass production, so must be enough. Questions are:

1-  how cool they will run
2-  how loud they will be
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone tried running 2 GPUs installed on the board? on: May 16, 2017, 05:00:36 PM
Katanas are nice, but what about noise? I bet that turbofan will be like F1 engine... and this MSI MARSHALL mobo is quite a thing, i must admit. How much are those katanas?
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: May 16, 2017, 04:19:06 PM
i have another question - does it make any difference, in relation to nicehash, to mine directly without any registration vs registration and sell hashpower? I mean whats more profitable from client stand point? (hashing is  about 6x1080ti plus some 7970's) Also, is mining via nicehash "uniminer" interface vs CMD line directly - any profit differences?
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: May 16, 2017, 02:50:57 PM
They guy plans on playing games when PC is not mining and mine in all other time,  so SLI should do good, other than that i did not see any difference in SLI/NO SLI, exxcept on windows 10, when OS wants cards to be SLI'd, but it does not insist on it, it just says "You card performance is not optimal, please connect sli bridge for optimal performance" thats about it.

Here are some benchmarks on  EVGA 3x 1070 SLi'd Components used are from older system based on EVGA NFORCE 680i SLI/LGA775/DDR2 CORE2 DUO CPU WITH 6400 DDR2 RAM 8GB 80GB SATAIII HDD WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM.
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1072587589508989&id=348409301926825 (sorry, had a problem with uploading pic, had post a link) There was an option to get this thing built on nforce 780i SLI but due to northbridge fan being extremely close to card surface, it was decided to go with 680i sli as it has enough space between northbridge and top pcie card, when installed.
p.s. It looks like 2x1080ti is about same as 3x1070 in performance, with price difference about 100-150$ it makes more sense to me to get 2x1080ti and SLI'em
Had built 2 PC's with ASUS 1080ti FE 11gb with 2x1080ti in each, wanted to try 3x sli 1080ti but did not have enough time, perhaps next built will try it.

Can someone explain "turn pos" for me? /Multilingual
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining in windows. on: May 16, 2017, 12:26:05 AM
Artifacts usually means:
1 - if under the load only, then overheat of a video ram/gpu
2 - anytime load/no load, then its already damaged memory/gpu, especially if you start seeing artifacts during boot process, before driver is even loaded.

i would not worry if gpu runs anywhere under 80'C and i would worry if it runs over 90'C in between is sort of "pay attention" area to my opinion

Hi,
If clicked on link within NICEHASH miner itself - it brings me to https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases/tag/1.7.5.12 from where i cant download latest version, link where it says CHECKSUM - returns 404. I was able to download it from your post here.
177  Local / Разное / Re: Какая видеокарта лучше? on: May 12, 2017, 09:10:49 PM

180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What does "Currently paying" percentages mean in nicehash? on: May 12, 2017, 08:37:46 PM
Question to Nicehash
 - trying to find out your % in fees by looking at latest payments at https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=miners&payments i am confused, is there a flat rate or floating rate or what is it depending on? Or am just need some sleep?
 Thanks
