There have been way too many other coins that were surrounded by real BS that deserved that type of treatment from posters, but this coin and this thread is not one of them.

frameLAlife, you said it the best way it could be said. Thank you.

Lets all just get back into normal discussions and posting (we're all waiting on the upcoming announced news from the devs with some expectation, I believe Cheesy)

Those that choose otherwise are simply not helping themselves or anybody else, but that's just human nature Sad

Best to just ignore them, I say.  Cool

I agree! Ignore the naysayers!

I am still so surprised how cheap OCTO is on the exchanges right now.  I honestly expected it to be over 3000 satoshis after day 8 and you can currently buy them for under 600 as of right now!  I think this coin will pay off for those who invest and hold.  I am slowly buying up more and more while mining so you naysayers keep selling cheap!

 Grin

the funny thing is it will ne minimum a double/triple up of your investment, so not mining/buying some now is a big mistake.  Grin
Its easy money right now and i cant understand why people are selling this for under 1k satoshis... But yes... when there are winners, there have also to be lo.... wait no, its also profitable to mine, but holding will bring you +200/300% more. Minimum. Really minimum.  Wink

I understand the mining and selling to generate money to help pay the bills and what not, it makes sense.  They win now and the people buying them up win later Cheesy:D

Just wanted to throw a personal update out there.  I met up with the Murraycoin team in Las Vegas this past weekend and we had a great time.  I got hooked up with a few Murraycoin shirts, one polo and one tee shirt, and was treated to a meal and a couple drinks all on the team!  Bholzer is as passionate about Murraycoin in person as he is on the forums, and the team is all really optimistic about the future, especially the next couple weeks.

Anyways just wanted to share!

Coin is not even on the vote list of Cryptsy.
Cryptorush.in it is number 5 on the Vote list, but the volume there is way too low to make this coin succesfull.

Dev hasnt updated the OP in a long while and hasnt posted there.

I have seen this before with other pump and dump coins, it means it is time to abandon ship and sell.

Unless the DEV does something visible to bring this coin back to the attention of people.
DEV, please tell us how we can help!

The Dev posted 2 days ago and the coin has been released a whole 9 days!!  I swear when it comes to the crypto game, people have zero patience.

We advise to read carefully the corresponding rules in order to avoid any misunderstandings each time we talk about bonus with our clients. Every client is important to us; therefore, we put all efforts to assure a top-quality service. Sometimes bonus Terms and Conditions are too complex to be understood by an ordinary user. We’ll do our best to make them simpler.
As to statistical data mentioned previously as an example, we can specify that the average size of a deposit was $276,20.

Haha thank you for down playing my intelligence.  Obviously I missed the 2nd page of term and conditions rather than the ones listed on just the promotions page.  I will do my best to fullfill the ridiculous terms and transfer my BTC elsewhere. Thank you for the replies though.
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.com - No.1 bitcoin sportsbook on: March 14, 2014, 08:13:18 PM
Man those regulations on the welcome bonus are brutal.

"Your initial deposit PLUS the bonus must be turned over at least 10 times and all bets below -200 will not be counted before you can make ANY withdrawal, AND the bonus amount and all winnings will be forfeited if the deposit and bonus rollover requirements are not met within 90 days of bonus credit"

Why do I have to match my initial deposit as well as the bonus 10 times to be able to withdrawal?  If I put in $300 and get $300 through the bonus, I have to roll over $600 10 times at those bet restrictions to withdrawal?  Why not just the bonus amount?  That requires so many bets, especially successful bets to even be able to withdrawal my original amount!

its just 10 time I have one site now closed they need to do bonus rollover in 50 times then we can withdraw here all is ok but they need to settle 2 things one 90 days option and second -200 because these both things not good enough
To run a sportsbook responsibly is one of Jetwin’s top priorities.

When approving bonus Terms and Conditions we strived to make them acceptable for our clients to the utmost degree. At the same time, we kept in mind that too flexible Terms and Conditions could become a threat for the Company. Many newbie bookies have paid dearly for not giving much attention to this issue. On the other hand, lots of customers have suffered and lost their money, participating in either ‘too good to be true’ bonus promotions or in such promotions which were blatantly fraudulent.
So far, we are not going to change our Terms and Conditions. We did our best to find the golden mean between protection against bonus abuse and user-friendliness. Unlike most other companies, we provide our clients who participate in the above-mentioned promotion with exhaustive and detailed information on the process of rollover fulfillment. Everything happens in automatic mode, errors excepted. Both sides, the bookmaker and the customer must fulfill all necessary requirements. Whether or not you participate in the promotion is entirely up to you.

Finally, it would be worth noting that during four months of the existence of this promotion more than half of our users have successfully completed rollover, which on the average has taken up twenty six days.

I mis-read the fine print when it said you must rollover your initial deposit AND the bonus amount.  If I would have seen this I would have gone elsewhere, which is my fault.  Just posting on here for others to see.  In your rules you should mention something about not being able to use a common event more than once, whether it is in a parlay or not.  As far as I could tell that is not included in the rules.

If I bet straight up on Team A at -110

then make a parlay with Team A, Team B and Team C for +410, why shouldn't I be able to credit for both going towards my bonus?

There is also nothing in rules that I have found that says only $75 per bet goes towards your roll over bonus as well.....which apparently is a rule judging by my betting history.

I will keep betting there and work towards my bonus, just sharing my feelings on the bonus as a whole.  I do understand with 100% match that you need to have rules in place or quite simply you just lose money, but you would think there would be a happier medium for the customer.

What was the average deposit of users that successfully completed the rollover?

Why does the everyone and especially the DEV ignore the elephant in the room?  FusionHash has almost never been under 50% of the total hash. Usually they are in the 80+ range and often well above 90% of the total hash.

I think it's time for the DEV to disclose any relationship with fusionhash. I for one was surprised to see him/her making announcements on behalf of fusionhash throughout this thread. Is the dev also running fusionhash? What is the relationship if this is not the case? Part of the 8 unknown people behind this coin? If anyone doubts me, quickly check through this thread before the dev's posts are deleted or edited and you can see for yourself where he has been reporting on their behalf.

Like I said before, an ethical pool would have limited registrations long ago to prevent destabilizing the block chain. It makes no sense to try to get on bigger and better exchanges if the coin is going to fork out and cause lots of people to lose coins and exchanges to lose confidence. Miners don't have much choice as I see it, since we all know that when there is a fork that the dev will choose the fusionhash fork above all others. Meanwhile anyone else that ends up on another branch loses all their coins/$$$$.

Way past time to deal with the elephant in the room and stop complimenting the emperors nice clothes.

Honestly, how much does it really matter with a new alt coin?

Doesn't matter one bit if you're already filthy rich. For the rest of us it matters a lot. It's not only miners that get hurt when this happens. Exchanges and investors also get raped when these coins fork. I guess some can't understand this until they personally lose $$$.

Thank you for explaining that in a total non-asshole type way.  That was very helpful for me and the community.

I agree with both of those things.  I edited my last post to say this too but, it seems $75 is the max bet for the bonus which I think is crazy.  If I am willing to risk more than that on a bet, the entire amount should go towards my bonus turnover.

Also: If I bet straight up on team A and it qualifies for the bonus, if I make a 3 team parlay with Team A in it it doesn't count either.  It is a separate bet with different stakes!  There needs to be some leeway here, especially within 90 days!

Also, is the limit for "qualifying offers" for the promotion $75 per bet?  Makes it pretty hard to rollover $6000, "$300 deposit and $300 bonus" 10 times if that is truly the match.  That's 80 bets at the max of $75 per bet.  Pretty insane and crazy rules for a promo of $300 if you ask me, especially without letting anyone even withdrawal their original amount.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MRY] Murraycoin ▪ The Only Currency Worthy of the Name ▪ Info & Discussion on: March 14, 2014, 02:45:53 PM
Don't be silent, there are people talking on IRC that it would be cool to launch an altcoin with charity idea. MRY already alive, let's make it kicking before a couple of scamcoins will destroy confidence.

If anything was going to ruin Murraycoin it would have been TakeiCoin going down.  I cannot believe people are dumping this so low.  Everytime I go to Cryptorush or Xnigma it seems like I can get cheaper and cheaper shares of Murray.  95% of people in the alt coin game have zero patience.  They want new coins, long term plans they day they are launched, multiple exchanges the day they are launched and multiple posts by a dev regardless of their are updates or not.  The coins that will thrive in the long run are ones where the devs and community had patience and ride out the storms and the good times.

Though the Murraycoin community is small, it's strong. If we can get it voted on to Cryptsy or Poloniex it will just add awareness.  If you read some of the discussion you would think MRY has been around for years and is struggling when in reality, it hasn't even been 2 months since it's launch.  Go look through other coins threads, how many of the devs are actively posting and updating 2 months into a launch of a coin who has yet to find a major exchange?  You won't find many.  For those of you who have followed, the golf tournament and the follow weeks after that is what we have been waiting for.

Community! Wear your Murraycoin shirts proudly!  Prices are cheap enough that anyone who believes in the coin can pick up cheap shares left and right at both exchanges.  Let's keep on voting MRY where we can.  People will only know about the coin, the charity and the community if we let them know!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting - Sitting around ~1950 votes, you need to be registered then can vote up to 5 times per hour.  A lot of coins ahead due to coins paying multiple BTC to buy votes, but let's push it up!

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/ - Sitting around 1350 votes.  You can only vote once per user, then all votes are bought after that.  Getting on here would be a huge bump for the coin.

Eat, drink and be Murray!!  Grin

Xnigma has a cool design, but, my god this is soooooo laggy. Hope we can join some real exchange asap

I believe he's just now really getting started, remember, he's gotta run wallets for every coin he supports plus all his web scripts and backend stuff. He's likely trying to save money on server costs while he builds his little empire. If people support his exchange he'll get it up to speed.

I'll vouch for Xnigma.  The guy who runs the site is super nice and friendly and has done a lot since the exchange launched less than a month ago.  It's still coming along.  Good little chat box with a lot of active members.  Hard getting volume on the exchange when everyone comes on there and just wants their new coin added!  Yes, there have been some hiccups here and there, but it's a good place to start!

Octo will either be a sleeper hit or die quietly as there really was no big buzz during the launch or now. Im hoping the first option will be true.

For having little buzz it's being mined at very high rates.  The Fusionhash pool has a MH/S rate of over 600 right now.  There's a rush to get those big blocks while you can!
