I PM'd atari02 and emailed alex.huynh38@gmail.com a week ago, I was just after a simple order of a couple of gridseed 5 chip miners. No reply, not even one to say sorry your order is too small.

Now with Mt Gox gone, is there any work being done on this bot to get it running on any other exchanges? My vote would be Cryptsy as there seems to be a lot of bots for BTC-e already (tAPI, gekko, hass etc,) plus Cryptsy are adding fiat shortly.

I did a mild under volt to try and kill some fan noise, 0.96v at 325Mhz gives me about 165GH/s and a much lower fan speed, 1980rpm. Penciled the resistance down to about 3.7k. On stock clock/volts I was getting 180GH/s at 390watts measured at the wall, I assume my Antec bronze 550watt PSU was chewing a fair bit of that. So down to 266watts at the wall, and only lost 15GH/s means a 32% power saving for 8.3% less hashing. Reasonably happy with that, with my high power costs it means more profit.

Guys its been at least 2 out of 10 of bitmain that were used (much dust), and also overclocked!
Are they serious? How can they have warranty when they send them o'cked?
Support also sucks, sorry.
Bitmain, any comment on this Check this guy: People-Bitmain is using miners for own benefit by "checking" if they work. End of story. Why all miners before your own setup have credentials like: pool-xxx.xxx.xxx
worker- anntminer 123Dont be surprised about any of this fact. Some miners are from 2014 batch and some coming still from 2013??? This means they was mining for them, why you think price is low and they can still deliver units? I stopped to complaint about dust and overcloked units. Whats the point? This is 5 units on sale in UK if anyone interested from me: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560828.msg6117056#msg6117056All taxes paid and ready to ship. Yeah right, they all mined on the same IP, I'm sure that worked well! A more likely explanation is those settings are already in the firmware image they use to flash the units just before they are shipped out.

Hi All,
My problem seems to be a bit different..
Gekko runs but always tells me that it does not have enough information needs two days of information to start giving advice.
Any ideas?
Also anyone able to give me samples of there config for cex.io?
Cheers
Chris
You have set your candleSize and historySize high. If you have 5min candleSize with 60 historySize that's 5min x 60 or 5hrs worth of information to gather before gekko will start giving advice.

S1 is out of stock currently , all orders placed on April 9th Beijing time will be shipped out as soon as possible. next batch of S1 will be in stock in two days.
Does that mean people who ordered on April 9th got in before the stock ran out?

Just for reference, will update when this is resolved...
I requested a refund from MinerSource last Friday, was immediately told it would get done and mailed on Monday or Tuesday of this week, and I would receive a tracking number. I have still not received a tracking number and have emailed twice asking for a status update. I have no idea if it is in the mail or not, or the status of my refund. Bobsag, please look into my email inquiry.
Thanks,
DebitMe
Update, received an email last Friday saying that the funds should clear into their new bank either that day or yesterday, as of right now I have not received an email with explanations or tracking. Sent an email earlier today asking for a status update and when I can expect to receive refund. Will update when I hear more. I notice that MinerSource has a new distribution channel, Microcenter, so I suspect with that and the expos, they're busy (congrats!). I'd sure like to get some resolution though -- bobsag3's been pretty quiet on here for awhile. I called Matt at minersource and had a great convo with him about this situation. He was more then friendly and helpful. If your having a hard time getting a response via email and support tickets why not just call? Sales/Support: 573-202-0370 *edit: formatting* Don't suppose he happened to mention when our Prospero orders will re-appear on this new Minersource website?

I just dont get. Who pays 0.893 BTC for an Antminer S1? Will you ever make it back?
You don't think of it as paying 0.893 you pay $400US which you convert to BTC just for the purchase and the chances of making back $400 are pretty good, especially when you factor in the resale value.

Tape out was February 23. The fabrication process takes just under 2 months from what I've seen/read.
Chips have to be packaged which can take a week or so, then of course they have to be tested.

buy antiminer S1 will ROI or not?
Currently, no. The BTC price and difficulty make it impossible to ROI at the moment. Time to just buy BTC. You mean your electricity price. I am quite sure someone in WA at 0.027c /kWh could get positive ROI.

I noticed that this.name = 'RSI'; is missing from RSI.js, which causes a warning.
Sorry I don't know how to submit simple patches yet.

What's the default mining address the S1 is set to when you get it all about?
Its written on it. 192.168.0.99 wat it was on mine. No I don't mean the IP address, I mean on the miner setup page where you put the pools in, the first one is already filled in.

S1 all sold out on the Bitmain site.

Failing to cash out immediately necessarily means that they are speculating with customer funds, which means that customer funds are not actually used to pay for expenses as indicated in their policy, it means that customer funds are used to fund speculative holdings of BTC which then may later be applied to expenses. The only reason they would do this in the first place is if they believed they would make a profit doing so on top of the actual business.
This might actually explain a lot about what's going on. I've never heard of a single person actually seeing Bitcoin leave the payment address for a batch 1 customer. That would indicate that they took a capital loss on revenue in the range of 33-50% or more during the period in which batch 1 customers would've made payments. That alone can entirely explain the refund situation, as refunding batch 1 has to operate like a Ponzi where they wait for new funds to pay existing promises.
Their original payment website for batch 1 said something along the line of refusing to do business with customers that are going to resubmit orders to get the best exchange rate before executing. That probably should've been an indication of what they had in mind all along.
Sounds like speculative nonsense to me, my payment was certainly cashed out back in January.

Has anyone might declaration of conformity CE for AntMiner S1? I need urgently to the customs office.
It shouldn't need one, it's a 12volt device, it doesn't hook up to the mains. Tell them you are going to run it off a 12volt battery.

Well, I ordered one (S1) Friday last week and it arrived yesterday (Monday). The website still says not shipped... I am in Sydney AUST.
cheers sla73
So it only took 3 days or did you mean 10 days?
|

If you add an S1 to the shopping card the price says only 0.938BTC yet the title says 0.988 very confusing.

Why to mine max when eKrona is going to be the next Aurora? Hashrate is rising rapidly and it's like Aurora 3 weeks ago. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421376.0Next week people will be asking why I not mined this coin when diff was ONLY 8 or 10 and now its 50. Or why I did not bought it when it was under 0.0002. etc. eKrona is nothing, just another lackluster scrypt coin with poor specs like 324 block diff re-target. At least Max has a good algo like sha3 that saves electricity for miners.

maxcoin is a shit coin. i regret buying it cos i lost about 1 btc in a few weeks. Learn to trade and you would have made a profit. MAX is cheap atm, because the miners don't understand that it's more profitable to mine scrypt with their GPU than MAX, so they are keep mining into high diff wasting electricity and driving the price down dumping. This makes it hard for noob traders. http://dwarfpool.com/max/calchttp://www.coinwarz.comPunch in your hash rates into those sites and prove it yourselves.
