It seems like many people (including me) were waiting for Milan to become the winner of the title. Because they haven't been the champions for like a decade until now. And this was their biggest and closest opportunity to do this. I really loved to watch Milan against Sassuolo today. Their performance was really amazing and got a very easy win by 3-0. Their recent form was very effective on it too. It made them focus on this championship game better. The Serie A has started to become more exciting in the recent years as well.

If the rumours about Kylian Mbappe's new contract are true, then it is going to be a historical agreement in football. I have never seen this kind of an agreement before. It is like Mbappe is the new owner of the club now.    I know that Mbappe is everything for PSG now. Without him, PSG are much weaker than this. Maybe they still haven't won a Champions League title yet but their job would be much more difficult without him. If I were Mbappe, I guess I would also extend my contract after having this kind of a contract.

While I was waiting for Celtics to get ahead, Heat did this. But they really deserved this victory as they got a big contribution by many players. Celtics must get prepared better for the next one and I believe they will win and make it 2-2. I will be expecting Celtics to play better defensively in the first place. They might be even the best defensive team normally and we should continue to see this effort from them. This can play a really big role for them to reach even the championship at the end of the playoffs.

It was a long journey for Frankfurt and Rangers both and I believed that they equally deserved to achieve the title at the end. But Rangers' performance wasn't good enough here. They still did well by reaching the penalty shoot-outs stage and they lost the title by a close gap too. If Ramsey didn't miss that penalty, maybe they could have won the title who knows. Rangers were really close to winning the Europa League for the first time. But this is still a good experience for them.

I was excited for some time about Liverpool's chance to win the league title. But Manchester City changed everything in a very short time and made it to the title. They are such a special team that they can do whatever they want whenever they would like. Scoring three goals in only five minutes is a really big achievement. Liverpool won their game too but it wasn't enough for the title I'm afraid. Liverpool shouldn't have made that point loss against Tottenham. It cost them the title at the end.

I still wonder whether Aston Villa can resist Manchester City somehow and even get ahead by a surprising goal too. In this kind of critical games, teams that play for the championship can come across this kind of unexpected situations. Manchester City's unforgettable Stoke game in the past is a good example for that. Manchester City won that one then but if they have a similar scenario again now we never know what can happen. Maybe they might not be able to do the same which would give a big opportunity to Liverpool too. But I still think Manchester City will be the champions.

Today we saw which one of Fiorentina and Atalanta teams made it to the seventh place in the league table. And that team were Fiorentina. Their performance was just amazing against Juventus in the first place. They didn't even let Juventus fight back against themselves and won by 2-0. Atalanta had an incredibly dominant game against Empoli actually but still Empoli somehow won the game by 1-0. I have no idea about how it happened though. Atalanta had 40 goal attempts but 0 goal at the end.

Mavericks performed really nicely against Warriors last night but it wasn't enough to beat them as well. Warriors are 2-0 ahead in the series now and I'm curious how Mavericks will answer this situation from now on. And Celtics are hosting Heat tonight for the third game of the series. It is 1-1 now and I think Celtics are going to get 2-1 ahead in this. They seemed very strong in their last game and I expect them to maintain this effort level in this one too. Celtics are definitely a big candidate for even the title now.

Barcelona - Villarreal game is going to be an attracting one to me tomorrow. It isn't a big game for Barcelona as they are already finishing the season at the second place in the league table. But it is important for Villarreal for sure as their Europa Conference League chance is on the line now. They had better show one of their good performances in this game to increase their chance. Their only rival for this place is Athletic Bilbao and they also have a tough game ahead against Sevilla. I think Villarreal would secure their current place.

It is nearly the time for Game 2 in the Golden State Warriors - Dallas Mavericks series. In around half an hour, the game is going to start. Warriors are 1-0 ahead in the series and I think they are very likely to make this 2-0 tonight. I don't expect the same thing from Mavericks that Celtics did against Heat in Game 2. However Mavericks can still make a comeback to a 2-2 score after. It depends on Doncic and the score contribution by some other players in the team like Brunson for example.

The final games of the season are closing in on us now. We are only a day away from those games. Arsenal are going to fight for their last chance to qualify for the Champions League but it is still a very low probability to me. Even if they perform decently and defeat Everton, Tottenham should still be able to destroy Norwich. There is no way Tottenham losing the game against a relegated team. Arsenal shouldn't have lost that Newcastle game in the first place.

Roma didn't have a huge difficulty in beating Torino in a game away today. Torino couldn't resist Roma even a bit and Roma won by 3-0. I think that it was a nice way to end the season for Roma. They are going to the Europa League now after this solid win. I wish they competed with Juventus for the Champions League until the end but it didn't happen. Roma still need to improve themselves a lot.

I am also waiting for a good game here. Roma and Feyenoord are both very capable teams. Maybe they would start with a more controlled game first as it is the final game of the tournament in the end. But hopefully we can watch a game with a high tempo after some time. And I am also favouring Roma to be victorious in this game. Roma have seemed to be a better performing team than Feyenoord until now. They would win this game somehow too.

Heat started the series decently by getting 1-0 ahead. It was a superb performance by Jimmy Butler especially. And tonight, there is the second game in Miami again. But this time, I think Heat will have a much tougher game against Celtics. I don't think that Celtics would play like in the first one. They know that they must defend their opponent better than this. We all must be knowing that Celtics can be a very solid team in defense when they really want too. I'm curious about if we will see another example for it tonight too. If they don't do this, then the series would be 2-0 most probably.

There are only two games tomorrow and Real Madrid - Betis looks like the most impressive one. Actually Real Madrid are just playing for ending the season now but we still can't know how much willing they would be to become the winner of this game. But I feel confident about one thing that is they would rotate their starting eleven a little. We will see if Betis will be able to take advantage of it. They might still lose one place in the league table and they had better get one point in the worst case. It's not impossible but it's quite difficult too.

Bookies thought like Hertha Berlin were the favourite against Hamburg in the game today. But I was thinking the opposite actually. I was seeing Hamburg as one step ahead because they have been a much more trustworthy team than their opponent recently. And this solid form helped them even win this game by 1-0. Especially in the second half, Hamburg started to find more goal opportunities and they deserved to win this. They have a huge advantage now and I don't think that they will lose this to Hertha Berlin.

Congratulations to Everton! They are officially staying here for next season at least. But I must admit that the Everton - Crystal Palace game was just something else certainly. I was shocked to see Crystal Palace getting ahead by 2-0 first. I was like that because I was very hopeful about Everton to win. However they made an unbelievable comeback later on. It was really epic to me. They managed to win this game by 3-2 somehow. As Burnley drew with Aston Villa, Everton are four points ahead of them and Leeds before the last week. It was such a tough season for Everton.

Monaco and Marseille both have difficult games ahead. Lens and Strasbourg are not easy opponents to defeat for them. These teams are still fighting for a goal in the league table now. But I think Monaco and Marseille will still manage to win these games by close gaps. And they will keep their current place at the same time. Rennes are still dreaming about the Champions League but it doesn't seem likely to happen. I think they lost their chance already in their Nantes game.

There is still hope for Liverpool in fact but it doesn't seem too realistic to me also. Because I don't think that Manchester City would lose to Aston Villa in their home game. Manchester City have been eliminated from the Champions League so their only focus is this league now. And they would like to win the Premier League title to end the season much better. I expect them and Liverpool both to win their games.

Sassuolo are not a too weak team actually but it is the truth that they aren't among the best ones in the league this season. And at this point, Milan have no luxury of losing to them of course. They beat much more difficult opponents than them so this shouldn't be a bigger problem for them normally. As long as they aren't complacent, this is a comfortable game to win for them. Inter would also win but it wouldn't be enough for the title.
