It seems someone did find a way to make nodecoin appear magically, but it was earlier than I thought. There were just over 5 extra NODE in existence for awhile. They appear to have since been "destroyed" as the ledger currently balances to precisely the expected coin cap, less the 143.47498 NODE eaten up in fees. The person who did this (it is quite a "visible" event in the tx data) also appears to almost certainly control at least one of the top addresses from the rich list.

@ Everyone! THERE IS NOTHING GOING ON WITH THE ID GENERATOR!!! The algorithm is the same, nothing changed from moving servers!!! Also RAXE.IO had no problem from the beginning, they just forgot to make an account! + The Error that that happened long time ago, after which you had to make a new account, had nothing related to the ID algorithm! It was due to the blockchain! Which was already solved!!! + Caps and Space sensitivity! The passphrases are sensitive to that! Make sure you entered the right letters or symbols! Don't mislead people and stop spreading fud and depressive posts! There are already transactions that have been made, people already made contact with each others, other bartered coins for other coins! Some already made a trade! So be serious, we won't restart the distribution just because a few persons can't get their coins for any possible reason! Don't take it as an ULTIMATUM!! If there will be reported more that 10% cases of lost passwords! We might restart the distribution, only if the community agrees! Our proposal is to finish with the current distribution, and than make a conclusion! We respect you, and we will try to come up with a solution for everyone's problem! Well the best thing in my favor is that it is not only me, and it happened to a development company/group Roxe.io, so it out there that this is happening. They can see the coins are still there, if they sent them. I wonder can they erase that account from the system? I don't know. But it's not a problem I caused. In my case with NEM, I did make a mistake, and wrote the password down wrong, which is why I used the notepad paste idea with this case. In NEMs case it's a token that won't be worth anything at some point when everyone cashes in their tokens for real NEM. At that point they will be able to see that the token is still there and never moved, so they can help me and just send me my stake the regular way because I never touched the token, the can see that, there's no trust involved. So thats an easy one to fix. But what are the NODE devs going to do to help me. Im this case, it's not my fault and it's happening to others, trusted, respected people luckily. I'm just waiting for an answer as to how the NODE devs are going to fix this. I'm sure they will come up with something because it's something wrong with the system and not something I screwed up this time around. suppose one thing then. The dev has sent an amount of coins to an address x (example) that this person speaks lost password or do not remember the password. The dev then sends back to that person the coins to another address but so far so good ... but in fact the person was lying and she remembered the password ... ready now the person has double the coins ... and we have to admit it has not changed my password and the password of 99% of the people has not changed .. it is not the error code We can't do that even if we wanted to! We have a limited calculated amount of coins, exactly like in the spreadsheet! @Chris001 There is no problem with the system! All the coding base, and algorithm stayed the same we just moved servers! So the problem that i was referring, was to particular individuals that haven't got their account the right way! Which can be explained only by mistake in the input!

I am having the worst luck with my stakes in these things. Sorry to hear that! The input is case and space sensitive! If you copy/pasted the password from a text file there is a chance that you copied by accident an extra space, either at the end or beginning of the passphrase! Try different combinations!

Cause its the same system! But just to be sure, try logging in with your password, if it gives you a different account, than the one mentioned in the Member list, notify us! Don't forget: The input is Case and Space sensitive! Make sure not to enter the wrong case by mistake! Take this matter seriously, as you might loose your stake! #Slogan All the submitted slogans are collected in a voting platform! There are a lot of ideas! Unfortunately we were expecting simple and lucrative phrases like for example: -Nike - Just do it! Apple - Think different! Lego - Play On EA - Challenge everything! instead the community provided a descifration for NODE! I think that we should focus on a catchy phrase that will resemble our community and main goals - not the letters of the BRAND name! Lets work on this!
