The password ID thing was an obscure glitch.  It only happened to 4 stakeholders out of nearly 1000, unless it happened to way more people and they haven't realized it yet.

is not a glitch in my opinion .. only smart people wanting more stakes ...

You can only change your account ID if it hasn't been sent yet.  I don't get where you get the idea that people are somehow getting multiple stakes.   Roll Eyes

There ain't no Revolution like a NEMolution.  The only solution is Bitcoin's dissolution! NEM!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Original sever IP (actually second one) http://5.9.123.114:19775/

My account number "13896932565080013808" does not match. It is "388507031247855324" on this server.

Try entering your passphrase a couple of times, if it still gives you a different acc # The Let me know so i can replace it in the M. List before it is to late!

My account number has been changed on this new server too.
Please change my account number: "17780801381767481802" to "16198732227867990925"

AND THESE CO-DEVELOPERS OF COIN RELATED WALLETS, EXCANGES, ETC ARE JUST SCAMMING TOO RIGHT

I had the same issue as this other guy.  Exact same password but apparently the ID is different on this new server.

Please change my account number: "17780801381767481802" to "16198732227867990925"

Everyone message one of the staff members if your ID number has changed we had the same problem. Really looking forward to this project it's going to be very exciting.

Which staff member did you mention this to?

The issue seems to have affected several so far.

edit:  it was changed for me.  That being said, everyone should check their IDs ASAP to ensure they're the same on the newest servers.  Would be unfortunate if they had to restart distribution all over again.   Shocked

OH YES THIS DEFINATELY LOOKS LIKE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS?

I messaged koop4u initially and he replied with a fast response and fixed the issue. But everyone must check in case you cannot remember your password or if the ID number has completely changed. This is probably the most pressing issue at the current time for this project. But great design, intuitiveness and very much liking the project so far. Core security features will be a great addition. This should be definitely be in the topic title because this is a important issue for the project at the current time.

OH YEAH, THESE GUY JUST ARE OUT FOR AN EXTRA STAKE, AND RUIN THEIR BUSINESS IN THE PROCESS

I get NODE Account # 12336957661887674448

My number in the list is #15641667066091303754

And I dont have the password wrong, I already made that mistake with NEM, I may have lost my NEM stake because of it. Patmast3r said he will try to help me, but thats another story.

I copied the password from a text file this time, and pasted it in when I made my account. I am pasting in the same password from the same text file.

I am coming up with different Acct number than what is in the list and what I had typed in my text file.

I am having the worst luck with my stakes in these things.

AND THIS GUY IS LYING TOO RIGHT?

Btw, please, give us a link to the Member list on the 1st page like it was before. And it looks like "Learn more" buttons are not working there either (though I guess you know it, but just in case...).

I'm on it!

Sorry to hear that!

The input is case and space sensitive! If you copy/pasted the password from a text file there is a chance that you copied by accident an extra space, either at the end or beginning of the passphrase! Try different combinations!

It doesnt matter if I add 1 or 2 spaces before or after the password I still get  12336957661887674448.

You said others had this problem, did you figure it out yet? You said to let you know if we got an account other than what was on the list. What am I supposed to do?

I think we will see more and more people reporting this problem, the only reason we realised is due to the fact that we wanted to try out the software and the ID had definitely changed from the original along with a lot of other features.

YES, MORE PEOPLE ARE HERE REPORTING THE PROBLEM!!!

AS FAR AS I CAN SEE, NO ONE HAS EVEN SOLD A NODE TO EACH OTHER YET.

IF THERE ARE THIS MANY CASES AND THEY ARE ONLY A 1/3 THROUGH SENDING THEM OUT

RESTART NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!

YOU CAN STILL SAVE NODE AS NO DEALS HAVE BEEN MADE YET

and dynoslots you are one heartless human being, you are worried about him using his keyboard the wrong way.

What if it was you who lost his stake!!

Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

logical that fear of losing your stake. but it is my fault would not put the blame on others ... I use keepass password and keep well in my head . It is sad when someone forgets the password but it was a problem in nxt and other currencies .. but no fault of the dev if someone forgets their password, should have seen it before because it took up enough time to get the distribution and once it happened to me, after a long time I found that the error was a capital letter

How could some passwords change and most passwords don't?

People, use proper software: like keepass 2. Never will there be a "copy paste" error, like with textpad.

That's a great question!!!

Listen, you can think everyone is crazy, but when it gets worse and worse as they go though the list, what do you think your NODE will be worth.

You got DEVELOPMENT company saying something is up.

wake up and stop blaming it on not using keepass

I am not blaming it on not using keepass. It is more a combination of not checking earlier, when people where asked multiple times to double check.

+1

You guys are heartless, and he's right, this is going to get a lot worse. This will kill this coin if it doesn't get fixed.

I got the right password. I wrote it down, typed it into notepad and pasted it in when I made the account. So why when I go to log in and I paste in the same thing, it doesn't work? It still matches what I wrote down.

Plain and simple, even Raxe had an issue and warned us days ago!!!

But were still going to continue distribution when you guys havent even made a sale yet? What sense does that make?

Doesn't work that way, if your coins had already been sent to the old address then you are SOL.

I know how to use a password. I don't have issues with my passwords!! I know the difference between a lower case and upper case.

Explain how the DEVELOPMENT people predicted this. It happened to them. They don't know how to use a password. Come on man!!

The devs first said it must be a space that it's space sensitive and it is not. Put a space before or after your password. Put two. You get the same account.

Do you have any idea how many people in the end are going to be raging all over this forum?
