Just found a block solo mining .. nearly 900,000 zeit .. awesome. Congrats!! How many Kh/sec are you running? It's been a wasted day for me, losing money for sure. Spent all day parked at hashstrike, and never did get paid the full amount. Switched to solo and no luck there yet either. Time to go to bed I guess and hope for better luck tomorrow. Not sure whether to donate more to hashstrike, keep on soloing, or park my rigs on litecoin and take the guaranteed steady and decent income. Very little.. between 900 Kh/s and 1Mh/s .. I was about to go back to the pools (Litecoin) and the transaction popped up.. will leave it now for another few hours.. Have one miner on litecoin while solo mining right now.. |

Thanks for the clarification.. as long as it's normal Ok thanks guys, i figured it out. Apparently the conf file had to be named zeit.conf, i had it named test.conf. Its working now. But as someone just asked yea, what is "No suitable long-poll found for http://localhost:55555" Is what it says while its running? PS: Where is the main zeitcoin site where i can find that new wallet? could be your cgminer version. I can tell you the No suitable long-poll found is normal when solo mining, so you're good to go. It has something to do with pools and isnt used when solo mining.... but its been so long since I looked up the error that I cannot remember exactly what it means, so you'll have to use some google-fu if you want more info on it. edit: Ahhhh.... here is what google turned up. Longpolling is a Feature of pools, which will give Information to the miners when a new block is found. And it is usually faster than the built in detection of the Client. |

And all i get is "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"

Thanks but i opened up cmd and did ipconfig and put in my address listed under IPv4 and i still get the same error? This error happens if you have mostly a typo somewhere. Check letter by letter all your settings. After you updated the zeitcoin.conf - did you restart the wallet? Is the wallet fully synched? Restarted and is synched. I even tried running my batch with minimal settings. There are no errors: CGMiner --scrypt -o localhost:55555 -u test -p test rpcuser=test rpcpassword=test rpcallowip=* rpcport=55555 server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1where did you install the wallet? did you run the wallet then exit the wallet, then copy paste wallet contents to roaming zeitcoin folder, make config, also check the config name is correct, make sure it is also not named zeitcoin.conf.txt in other words make sure it is a .conf file, then create wallet shortcut paste to desktop and run it again, start cgminer or whatever you are using.
127 is your IP address though? I need to use mine.
And the wallet isnt an installation, its just an exe file. I've been using the wallet posted on this site, or at least it was posted on this site it appears to be gone now. Zeitcoin v1.0.0.0
127.0.01 is a local IP.. it means your local PC.. it's the same as localhost.. |

(last 2 days) found a good 2.3 mil coins... earned only 400k in pool... going solo now for 10h... already found 1 block of 600k Holy Crap!! any guide on how to setup solo mining?? i'm fairly new to this..
