Didn't realize the Zeitgeist movement included racist douchebags as well. Awesome! Yeah, did not want to feed into this a** as well..

Someone mind helping me with solo mining?
I followed what users said on here and made this conf file and put it in my roaming/zeitcoin folder
rpcuser=test rpcpassword=test rpcallowip=* rpcport=55555 server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 rpcconnect=0.0.0.0
addnode=54.213.62.154 addnode=54.213.81.163 addnode=54.213.195.38 addnode=54.213.243.144 addnode=54.213.174.35 addnode=5.39.68.168:44845 addnode=64.58.130.181:44845 addnode=184.82.131.91:44845 addnode=217.198.117.29:44845 addnode=185.38.248.99:44845 addnode=162.219.6.82:44845 addnode=31.52.214.77:44845 addnode=120.4.238.127:44845 addnode=74.215.82.64:44845 addnode=70.53.108.157:44845 addnode=115.28.226.232:44845 addnode=107.170.22.138:44845
And made this cgminer batch
CGMiner --scrypt -o localhost:55555 -u test -p test
And all i get is "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"
rpcconnect=your IP of wallet computer or 127.0.0.1 if you only mine from one computer (which is the same as wallet computer). Thanks but i opened up cmd and did ipconfig and put in my address listed under IPv4 and i still get the same error? This error happens if you have mostly a typo somewhere. Check letter by letter all your settings. After you updated the zeitcoin.conf - did you restart the wallet? Is the wallet fully synched? Restarted and is synched. I even tried running my batch with minimal settings. There are no errors: CGMiner --scrypt -o localhost:55555 -u test -p test

Does anyone know what's happening with hashstrike? I'm mining, but wallet got 10-20k-30k coins less than it should for the period of last 9 hours (mining with 0.5 Mh/s and getting 10k coins per 2,5 - 3 hours). And last payment was 3 hours ago, nothing since then...

I received a payment from hash strike a few hours ago and nothing since. Instead of the regular payout, they seem to have lumped it all together into one transaction. It's missing a ton of coins. From my calculations and judging from the difficulty levels, I seem to have been scammed out of at least 2-3 hours of mining if not more.
It's too bad, hashstrike has been great the last 3-4 days for zeit coins. Not sure if it was deliberate theft, or carelessness, or factors beyond their control that led to the smaller payout.
If any pool owners are out there, please just do the right thing when you have trouble. Take the pool offline so our rigs will automatically go to one of our backups instead of keeping the mining part running but stealing/losing our coins. Much more respectful way of dealing with the inevitable issues that will arise.
The payment you got was when we went to bed last night... we saw the payouts fire, and went to bed. However the scripts failed again and went into "failsafe" mode and stopped sending out payments. Since it stopped running again, everything is reproccessing another backlog of unaccounted blocks (approx 100M coins worth) so it will be a bit longer. You should receive all unaccounted payouts within the next 15 minutes.

But as someone just asked yea, what is "No suitable long-poll found for http://localhost:55555" Is what it says while its running? PS: Where is the main zeitcoin site where i can find that new wallet?

**HashStrike Update** Firstly, I want to apologize for the lack of communication in the thread here. We had a bit of a long night last night (I was up til 2:30AM myself ) and we didn't hit all the places we could update. The good news is that the payout issues have been resolved and we are working through the backlog. As it stands now, there are 145 unaccounted blocks to be paid out, with a total coin value of 100,785,311 ZEIT. I'll keep this post updated with a running progress as the backlog runs. The main issue was a switchover to our backup infrastructure, which should not have caused any issues... but it turns out the RAID array in this server has some performance issues with our database, and that allowed the backlog to build up. The good news is that we found some ways to speed up the payout process so that things will run quickly again once the backlog clears. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has mined with our pool since launch. Up until yesterday, we had 100% uptime. We literally had ZERO outages since we went live 5 minutes after the source code was officially released! But, nobody is perfect- that 100% had to go down slightly eventually. We are working hard to make sure that we can stay as close to that 100% as possible. I will be setting the pool to 0% fees for the next 24 hours as a thank you to everyone.

Longpolling is a Feature of pools, which will give Information to the miners when a new block is found. And it is usually faster than the built in detection of the Client.

Solo mining is very tough when the difficulty is over 10 unless you have a LOT of hash power. In theory you will still get the same amount of coins, but you just have to wait a really long time for blocks to come in. An update on the backlog, we are halfway through it already. 70 blocks to go!

Please NEVER post something like this as an example - I know it should be only an example, but that is an obvious invitation to steal coins, if enough people do NOT think and just CTRL-C CTRL-V. And I do not want to read hundreds of post, "why my coins disappeared?" PS: If somebody does not understand, what I mean, set maxconnections to eg. 1000000, write a script to get all peers, and then sent to all of them: getbalance sendtoaddress MYADRESS getbalance

Downloaded the new wallet and there is a new category called Immature. What are these? Right after the new wallet synched i started my solo mine and got a crazy high incoming transaction for about 900m zeit O.o and it went into the immature spot. I didnt actually get that did i? lol
That means you found a block- NICE!! Immature means that you won't see the coins get to your wallet until 50 confirmations. Congrats!
