At this point Chelsea owners and fans would start to lose faith in their head coach. Losing to Everton today after just coming back from a loss to Manchester united is far too much to take. I think Chelsea are far behind in terms of form and it may take a while before they get back to form.
Also Everton has been fantastic this season and they have been good lately, defeating Chelsea without conceding is a great feet to attain and they deserved the victory today.

It was a big scare for Liverpool today as Crystal palace was the first to break the deadlock, and they needed some heroics which Salah Mohammed came up with to equalize the match in the 70's minutes and then Elliott came up with the winning goal in the additional minutes, this was a very important win for Liverpool that puts them in the first position although they have one game more than Arsenal. The pressure is now on Arsenal to win.

I don't think Manchester city has any excuse and injuries isn't an issue, yes I used to wrongfully think that they can blame their situation on injuries but come to think of it the reason a team has depth is in preparation for injuries. last season Arsenal had some injuries that enabled Manchester city pass them to clinch the English premier league, so they should not blame injuries every team experiences it but still Manchester city has good players to cover up. First half and Barcelona is dominating the game. This is a better performance from Xavi Hernandez men although a poor one for Robert Lewandowski as he got feed several times from cancelo and kounde but he did not make anything out of it.
The special duo of Morata and Greizman has not really clicked today and side a little scare Barcelona defence hasn't been really test today by Atletico Madrid.
Although Atletico Madrid has a better bench than Barcelona and this may turn out to be a problem for Xavi Hernandez, it's best the finish the game off as early as possible before they get some tired legs out there.

It was really a tough match at the etihad stadium which ended in a draw game between Manchester city and Tottenham Hotspur, which the both teams went home with at least 1 point each. It wasnt really a good game for pep Guardiola and his expectations of going home with 3 points was cut short. But i do hope and expect a bounce back in there next league game.
Making bookers gave Tottenham no chance as they had an odd of over 10, I think it was a befitting odds for Tottenham Hotspur before the match as they have had a very poor run losing consecutively to not so strong team. The match was a very exciting and I really did not see much difference between the two team, one thing is for sure and that's Tottenham up their game anytime they face a top four team. |
