161  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the best advice? on: November 08, 2021, 09:31:12 PM
With the way crypto world is going now and everything is techy futuristic what advice would you give your children when growing up?

Gaming as we know it can now give you monthly payments and as a parent would you allow your kids to get into this just for the money making? To be honest kids are more good at gaming

You think that will continue forever? There is nothing easy to get and now that everyone think it's easier to play to earn, it wouldn't be like that forever, the funds used for such activities are from foundation and when the population increases and more people get to know it, the earnings will be low, the law of diminishing return and nature effect would have set in.
If I have know that bitcoin would be this huge, I would have bought plenty of Bitcoin for my self and by now would have also sacrifice some Satoshi for them. I would see if ethereum mah cover up for Bitcoin mistakes when I have the funds.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 08, 2021, 09:20:12 PM
But even then, you will still be working under someone for the rest of your life except if you are working on a project and decide to play your part in the project by doing the above listed skills you highlighted above.
Personally, I will work hard and raise enough capital and buy as more and more good coins and hold for future sake and them one day I will retire and enjoy my lambo in the 50s and 60s, I can't work like a donkey for the rest of my life when an average life span is 70 years.
Work hard while you are still in your early stage of life and enjoy tomorrow.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find these coins? on: November 08, 2021, 09:05:32 PM
Hi guys. I wonder how to find and spot good coins and buy them at ICO, before they are going on a well known exchange like Binance? I know that there is a mass of new coins which are 99% shitcoins. But there were als coins which aint even shitcoins for example like DOT (ICO 0,29$), UNI (0,06$) or SOL (0,22$).

So how to spot these coins before they get popular or are listed on big exchanges and are purchaseable at decentrilised exchanges?

What you don't know is that it's hardly to get into good projects in early time, by the time you get to know the project will mostly be public because all sales contains
  • Angel investors
  • Strategic investors
  • Seed sales
  • Private investors

The above is done in private, that's why you hardly get early information.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors desire on meme coins are insane on: November 08, 2021, 08:58:31 PM
I see this as a way of gambling, but now you have gambled and make profit, you can easily just convert your meme coin to bitcoin so that you will not fall into meme trap of bearish market. The bear market will mostly not favor meme coins, the bull market that happens recently really helped you.

Just like old times ICO, majority of tokens and coins who were super hype were all crippled and couldn't get back on their feet, the same thing will happen to meme tokens in bear market.
One will think its always a good opportunity to hop in those project they missed when they see the opportunity but unfortunately, they hardly survive the bear market where the volume becomes almost zero without liquidity.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 06, 2021, 07:41:10 PM
Bnb is deflationary in nature and very utilized products, there are also demand from different communities who want to hold bnb, I believe it's only a matter of time before bnb reached $1k.

I still cry inside anytime I remember how I sold my bnb on loss during covid-19 market collapse, the trauma and regret is something I have tried to overcome but anytime I set my eyes on how it's increasing every month, it used to weak me.  Cry
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: November 06, 2021, 07:37:33 PM
Binance is open for business and will always be a business place. Have you check why they remain with just 21 node despite having one of the fastest network that's efficient than ethereum.
If I recall, the day Binance listed Shiba Inu, they ran out of Erc-20 deposits addresses because of the demand in shiba. They will do anything to promote their interest, that's what they are and what the company interests.
But OP, tell me, you wouldn't have complained about it if you are holding some bags of Shiba Inu Grin
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: November 06, 2021, 06:57:48 PM
Crypto trading requires a lot of skill and technique to engage in. In almost every trade I make, I set stop loss. Staying in a dip till it go back up is not really a smart move for me. But there's no need to use a stop limit if you made the right purchase and at the right time.

It may be different my friend.
Did you experience the covid-19 market collapse, everyone buying the dip then thought they bought at the bottom but the more they buy, the more the crash comes in surprise, it was after the disastrous sell off many even realize that it was due to panic, some stop-loss weren't even triggered.

In bull run, there is no point doing to techy things to make money in this market buy using stop-loss but taking off profit should be your outmost priority. Don't try to trade Shiba coins though.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best way to traiding on: November 06, 2021, 06:51:58 PM
Snip

Trading is profitable but if you want it to work for you, you will have to take it as your personal job, treat it like your business ( you wouldn't want to joke with your business), you should also be willing to learn more about technical and fundamental analysis, that's the two most basic requirements of a trader in knowledge aspects. The important aspect is the capital, you should have enough capital, the higher to make a significant return, it doesn't have to be too large but significantly.

You should know that trading is high risk investment, trade with caution buddy.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: November 05, 2021, 11:38:11 AM
Don't know how long this title will continue to last on Elon Musk as the richest man, but what I do know is that nothing lasts forever in this world and what is certain is that over time there will be replacements that have occurred before in the future.

You think so?
You should have keep checking because that man has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. It almost double Jeff Bezoz the last time I check and the value and assets keeps increasing every day, thanks Bitcoin, ethereum and Doge (cryptocurrency in generally).
For now, the Techno king remains the king except when a new and energetic person like him comes on bord else he will remain the top till his date or may be old age but for now, he is very focus, he is even wise by not having woman by his side.  Grin
170  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies on: November 05, 2021, 11:18:41 AM
Why would anyone count CBDC as cryptocurrency, there is no similarities except that they are mostly hosted on private blockchain where the government controls everything. The decision upgrade, proposals and implementation is always carried out by the government and you cannot do anything when your account get confisticated.
I wouldn't like to deal with any of them because you are like to provide your details to the government and I think you may be limited to amount of funds you can hold on your wallet.
You will ways be watch using such wallet.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Are banks needed for crypto? on: November 05, 2021, 11:13:32 AM
Technically, banks may not have anything to do with crypto, because judging from the system they have developed, they are very different 360 degrees, where they contradict one another.
but in a crypto partnership it will not be separated from banks and fiat even though the influence is very small but fiat will still be in crypto forever because they are actually seen as a symbiosis of mutualism, namely mutual need between one another.

You and I technically knows that banks are very much needed in cryptocurrency otherwise, majority Wil just be hearing of Bitcoin and ethereum and wouldn't be able to do much or purchase.
Unlike people that are closer to Stable coin OCT like Tether that can easily Mint Usdt with fiat and buy their desire coins.
Banks are needed to switch between two world, you need bank to transition your value from fiat into cryptocurrency and hence they are needed for now, may be things might change in the future.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 05, 2021, 11:08:49 AM
Statistics on paper is prone to error and those value quoted by UN might not be accurate. Since ElonMusk gave them the surprise reply, I haven't heard from them.
Every part of the world today is accumulated by the population of poor people who are struggling every day to feed, I wonder how they intend $6billion to cure hunger except if they plan to do just a single day feeding which will not be significant in my opinion.

Every countries has that richest person with $$, let them stand up and cure hunger, it will reduce hunger drastically instead of one person.

174  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance terminate some services in South Africa on: October 11, 2021, 08:37:43 PM
Binance will just act what's necessary for them if there's a country that's too tight on their regulation about their operations.

That's why it's not only happening in South Africa but as well as other countries that they have to cut their ties but they have a solution for it as they make their website more accessible following the tight regulation of a country for their users there.

If I'm binance, I wouldn't hesitate to stop operating in a country that are too hard to cooperate, I mean regulation is a good thing for both the exchange, it customers and the country but when the country decides to feast on the exchange because they believe its generating revenue for them, that's a parasitic relationship instead been a symbiosis relationship.

I would have said they should create a decentralized exchange for everyone but that would give them another nightmare and focus demanding.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading algos/bots getting better? on: October 11, 2021, 08:09:55 PM
Honestly, working with a broker from Amarkets, I didn't even think about it. In my opinion, you can work without such algorithms or robots, and at the same time make a profit.

If all algorithm are so good as they are been programmed, believe me, no programmer will every sell them out but a bot is meant to work in a way of man and mistake can not be avoided.
The disadvantage of bot is that you cannot eliminate that mistake but as a man, you can easily snap out of any situation right before they happened, this is why I prefer to trade my self and be consistent with my strategy and also improve as the market sentiment changes.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth, Bnb, Trx, Sol - Decentralized? on: October 11, 2021, 08:02:43 PM
Seems that CZ will shut faster than any other project you have listed over there. Ethereum is fully decentralized in a such a way that it's the community who determines the improvement, vitalik has just a little say on the network.
The ascending order in how they are decentralized will be Eth, Trx, Sol and Bsc, I choosed to make BSC the last option because they have just 21 node that are controlling the. Network, so centralised that they can trace back a transaction a nullify it if it goes against there policy which is pretty bad.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfair like cryptobetting sites on: October 10, 2021, 08:06:56 PM
Back in the days Betfair was allowed in my country I used to do a lot of sportsbook bet trading but since it has been forbidden I haven't found any other real good alternatives. I was wondering if any of you guys know any Sports bet trading crypto site similar to Betfair?

Except if kyc is made mandatory for deposit and withdrawal, I think VPN will help you mask behind an address where you location will be hidden and play smoothly but if kyc is needed, I'm afraid you have to search for an alternative.

You people advising him to try other "casinos" or sites like stake and so on are totally missing the point.

He is looking for a betting exchange and not a bookie/casino site.

I doubt if they even checked the heading twice, from review, betting exchanges are sometimes better because of the odds are better for customers.
178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitvest is a scam on: October 10, 2021, 07:46:11 PM
Therefore the level of suspicion will be very dominant if he is one of the scammers with his new account. Precisely with the evidence attached, there will be very many questions asked. As Bitvest casino is quite reputable on this forum, so we just want proof for all those accusations.

Some users don't have account here, they do create only when they have problems or difficulties and that's what the op is going through right now.
I think the problem they always have is miss communication with support and when they don't have a voice, they head to Bitcointalk for some help.

I don't know much about Bitvest but they have been on the forum for long time to allow a little amount to spoiled their reputation.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Now UK is facing inflation so choose the best for you.. on: October 10, 2021, 07:32:28 PM
I like to fit in with the herd so let me try :
"OMG inflation. OMG US going to default on its debt. US dollar worthless soon. OMG!!! Hyperinflation tomorrow!!!"

Did I get it right?  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

It's actually good you point out things when it's getting bad than wait a die minute when things become so hard to control and out of hand, everyone contribution may not stop the inflation but surely we all learn from every one experiences with different years in increased in price of goods and how to handle them without government help.

Inflation is indeed a cancer to fiat and monetary policy.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About P2PB2B exchange on: October 10, 2021, 07:19:00 PM
What's your experience with P2PB2B exchange so far? Is this still a good place for new projects for buying and selling? I'm actually surprised that this exchange lived this longer as many like it are now down or exit scam already, I don't know how safe the exchange is today and a friend is asking if they still functions

If I recall well, around 2019, when p2pb2b defrauded me of $52, I was denied withdrawal from the exchange after being allowed to deposit because I had not completed KYC.
The issue with the exchange is that they don't inform you upfront that KYC is required before making a deposit, but once you do, the withdrawal button will be disabled until you complete the KYC, which is a headache because the exchange's KYC is quite difficult.
