We don't know how long he's going to tell that again and maybe in the nearest future, there's going to be a change of heart again from him and would bash bitcoin once again.

As a billionaire then it wont really be that giving out some good feels when a huge community would really be having a bad impression to you because you do have negative views and impression towards bitcoin where the community will normally react and hate all things that do hate bitcoin itself.

He was also the one that has hyped Dogecoin and that's why many of the followers of his in the market are waiting for his crypto related tweets. They're all reliant to him because every time he talks about something about a coin, there's a followed up pump from it if he's been tweeting positive about it. I don't know if Buffet takes advice from anyone. He is someone who gives the advice. And as far as I know, he still refuses to endorse cryptocurrency. He is in his 90s and is unable to understand the technology related to cryptocurrency. Anyway, at this age, he will be more concerned about the preservation of his wealth rather than increasing it. And for doing that, he needs a stable fiat economy. Alternatives such as cryptocurrency pose a danger for that status quo. Anyway, his time is over. He made his profits during the last century and he should be proud of that. If he was making the investments now, then I am sure that he won't be as successful as he was earlier.

We do not know his mind, but if someone has more wealth than the other, he will want to get more because that is human nature. We do not want others can have wealth like us, even closer to us so we will try to increase the wealth in many ways. Yes, it is better to invest secretly without anyone knowing than to announce to the public. It will make him get asked by the media and the media can easily compare with Elon or other richest people who already invest in bitcoin. Elon Musk is a great that deserves an accolade. He had really done well becoming great again. Although his contention in the cryptocurrency market is what had pushed some investors to there kneels. In my opinion Tesla is not nearly as profitable as wall street predicts because nearly every other major car company is going electric in the coming years.
