You know for a moment there I thought you were trolling me But then I checked the thread and realized that no trolling was required. Good job to Dorians alt for making him a thread.

10/1/2015 153------------ + 9 about + 4 for this adjustment period. 10/2/2015 130 ------------ -14 so as of 11 pm we are about a - 10 10/3/2015 145 ------------ + 1 so we are near -9 10/4/2015 158 ------------ +14 +5 10/5/2015 151------------- +7 +12 total 10/6/2015 146 ------------ +2 +14 total 10/7/2015 132 ------------ -12 +2 total 10/8/2015 137 ------------ -7 -5 total 10/9/2015 132 ------------ -12 -17 1205 made and we should be 1222 so we are -1.39% https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty (+0.55%) this just a bit too high. with 811 blocks left and the weekend coming up I see a possible neg adjustment. I will happily take a negative. It's been too long since that. And very nice compared to 5's. What I wonder is how many S7's are in the mail right now. Wish there was a good way to tell. As do I and a list of tracking addresses to tell where they all are and when they will get set up ^^ That said looking at it now it likely will stabalize at +-1% or the rough range this round with 757 blocks left Bitcoin Difficulty: 60,813,224,039 Estimated Next Difficulty: 61,416,445,072 (+0.99%) Adjust time: After 757 Blocks, About 5.3 days

No impact, While all currencies can be used for negative things, they also can be used for positive ones, an increased awareness of the utility of Bitcoin and usability for the end user is what matters at the end of the day, perceptions can change.

Currently new spam attack is ongoing. Largest so far. Wonder how this will effect price and diff...
The price dropped 4$ in few minutes, that is annoying. Why would it matters? Only confirmation time is affected, i don't see why this would change anything for holders and miners. I suggest reading about it - http://cointelegraph.com/news/115374/the-ongoing-bitcoin-malleability-attackIt is a bad thing all the way around. Look at the amount of bad transactions during the attack. It is very surprising level they are able to go to. It really is a nuisance cheap way to duplicate txts then send them twice The transaction confirms either way and doesn't cause a double spend since the blockchain reads the first input, but that second one stays in the mempool for a while. This topic provides better details https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1198032.0;topicseenBack to difficulity looks like it went down for a bit (always 0 as a pick) for someone who wants to bet on the impossibilu one haha. Bitcoin Difficulty: 60,813,224,039 Estimated Next Difficulty: 62,609,953,578 (+2.95%) Adjust time: After 1085 Blocks, About 7.5 days

It is an annoyance to have my normal transactions reading as double spends from blockchain both of them are from the same source and won't fail but having a warning message appear and having it spam the network is urksome. I wonder if any of us can double bitcoin due to this attack ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Not unless we do a Bitcoin update to a new core client and have it deviate again ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
