161  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: First BFL ASIC! on: April 03, 2013, 01:56:09 PM
I believe this huge amount of talk about the first device delivery because few people put some bobs on the table... That is fine... (if you like gambling...) But at this point i feel somebody try to cheat... (last minute video with a test board...)

Although, this is 3rd of April. Over the Easter holidays... and still... I can't see any official announcement from BFL about the shipment. As far I am considered that product what was shipped / not shipped is a test board for a developer (paid or not paid by BFL that's an other question).

Couldn't find any proud video / picture / post from BFL where we could see the ASIC mining continuously. That video what was uploaded was not the final product, it was not in the box what will be used to ship products to users, it was on the same test desk what we saw earlier, etc. At least i hope my ASIC rig will be nicely packaged. That is an other question when it will happen (in April or in December...).

BFL/Josh, when will you receive the new PCB? When will you have the final product ready and start to ship to users? (talking about real delivery not about the shipping of the developer units)

I am afraid to ask for any compensation for this huge delay (I am talking about promised first delivery in October). Every day is a huge loss for your customers who put faith in you and supported this development with their money!
162  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 3/28 What's BFL's big announcement? on: March 28, 2013, 10:53:44 PM
I believe they have designed and tested the water cooling system for the rig. Smiley Of course without the real rig because they are still waiting for the new PCB to arrive.

is there a problem with the pool?

The dashboard seems out of sync. My worker showed offline but the miners were geting the work...

EMC is getting DDoS'd as well.  Mining servers are good though... server is back up as well now got most everything behind Cloudflare and it seems to have solved the issue for the moment.

the EMC web server is not available from my location (Ireland). Anyone else is having the same problem at the present?
166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What type of reg would you build for 120k? on: March 02, 2013, 11:15:24 AM
And one more thing to consider. As far i know these rigs come with 6 month warranty. Let we assume they start to give trouble after 1,5 years... your 5 years plan is gone...

Thanks Mate!
168  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BFL Discounts on: February 16, 2013, 04:56:04 PM
I saw that BFL is offering discounts to people that ordered in June and July.   Hot damn, I have two singles ordered in June, and 2 Jalapeños ordered in September/ I guess its time to upgrade.  They also have chip or wafers or what ever going in the US.  Looks like the stress of wondering if I made a good purchase will pay off.

where did you see that?
169  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: July 25, 2012, 06:03:31 PM
Hi Tarrant,

Just to update your list. I ordered a Mini Rig in May. I got the confirmation mail from the order on the 29th of May.
170  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: July 06, 2012, 04:47:01 PM

Got excited this morning as had email to say I had a recorded delivery on its way. Thought it was my Single that I ordered on 21st April. But it was not - it was my 4x400m and 10m synchronised diving final Olympic tickets! So was not disappointed!!

at least something Smiley

@leofar,

The N word - really?

I understand your frustration but no need for that...
+1, that was childish and lame.

Although leofar has a valid point but it will be skipped as he is using improper words. I would really like to understand why BFL doesn't follow the order numbers and why they ship equipments to the well know users before the less know users... Do they think they will do a better advertisement to them?

BFL,
just ship my unit and i will tell just good things about your support and product. Smiley Even i am willing to tell everyone you were calling me every day about my product... Especially after delivery to make sure it works as it was designed by BFL engineers. So, when can I get my SC miniRig?
172  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: July 06, 2012, 04:30:04 PM
It is July and they are shipping orders from April. I tried to call them yesterday about my order and i'd have some questions about the upgrade what i placed with them earlier. But no luck to reach them on that number.

As far i remember they said they hired more people and the manufacturing of each product (singles, Mini rig and ASIC) are separated. I can't see they had any speed increase on the manufacturing. I am wondering when i can have my MiniRig and when i can expect the SC miniRig...

I purchased a MiniRig in May. I paid it on 23rd of May and I got the confirmation e-mail on 30th of May. The ETA for the delivery was between 23rd of Aug and 13th of Sept.

I signed for the Upgrade on 27th of Jun and i got the wire transfer instructions on 30th of Jun (saturday). I paid the requested amount on 4th of July. I beleive it will arrive to BFL at the end of this week or early next week.

My order number for the Mini Rig SC is 2360.

BFL,
could you please give us an estimate how many units will be shipped out at the first round?
176  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Coinabul - Website maintenance. on: May 22, 2012, 09:24:26 PM
Just an update. My last purchase happened on 26th of April and I just received the package (22nd of May). When i wrote to Jon he answered straight away.

This last purchase come in a normal standard plastic bag, not like the first purchase in the original Credit suisse storage.
