Is there any exchange we could buy some coins? I'm waiting for win compile, so I can mine a bit. The exchange was Lazy Coin but not sure if I would trust it yet. Not sure if they have been keeping up with the wallet updates. I have been notifying them about the updates, they did get the 0.3.6 update but I didn't warn them about 0.3.7 because it has a problem and 0.3.8 is not ready yet. There have been a lot of problems with this coin so we have disabled deposits/withdrawals until things stabilise. I am sure you can imagine the administrative headache keeping track of all hardfork transactions can cause. I cannot watch this thread 24/7 but if someone emails support@lazycoins.com when the next wallet version is out I will update and re-enable withdrawals/deposits. I am going to sleep shortly(stayed up till well past 7am waiting for the new wallet version) so I will check the provided email address first thing when I wake up! I wish to stress that trades are fully functional still so you can deposit bitcoin and buy khc which can be withdrawn when .8 comes out. You got it man, as per the last support ticket, I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for the info guys.
Any clue how many coins have been mined so far?
That I can't answer. I am not connected with any wallet to the network for now. Can anyone answer to this question? Approximately. wr104 prolly could, but he prolly needs a better block explorer to give an accurate answer. He's a bit on the busy side working out the kinks with the diff algo.

Executed, however current block is 5872 in my wallet -resumed mining, but was the blockchain supposed to be clipped or preserved?

I found the bug.
Compiling Wallet v0.3.7
So you are keeping PID? Yes, I'm giving one last chance to the PID algo. I'm still dealing with some issues with the Diff. Wallet 0.3.7 will be ready tomorrow. Looking at the wallet at present, they're still mining and they've almost made it to 5800 (5765)...

Blocks are very slow, my miner waits a lot for work. Is this normal ? Any plans to enable multi gpu mining soon ?
Yes is normal, there is no 'dummy' work with this coin.

Relay Message starts now From Dano ok its basically delayed until next monday so that the court can get more information on the conversion from BTC to fiat. Feel free to post that on the forum- judge has adjourned the hearing until next Monday Heh, cool. So we have another exchange? LOL

You can only mine on the first card until dev works on the miner. Everyone with multi card rigs has this problem.
I'll try starting separate instances, see if that works. Has been tried, you may do better if you install 12x/13x drivers. I didn't go that far because of the increased performance offered with the 14.9 drivers. Nope! HW errors still there and a ton of rejects on the 7950. Dug up the Stilt 290 bios mods, picked a middle-ground one and it's much more agreeable shall we say. Now I can overclock that properly for Diamond, check out this algo with the 7950, of course 7 cores for the Magi and my dance card is full! *sigh* Still won't really know if miner's working until I pick up a block and I'm still completely um... indescribable... Now I stopped programming a long time ago, 386-486 long time ago, but I programmed a lot for a long long time before that, back past the Apple/Commodore 6502 can't mult or div back to punchcards and Fortran... and I can't imagine programing a set of tools like the qt wallet software, cgminer, minerd etc etc, and having NO FEEDBACK to see how they're communicating! Why hasn't someone just added that in? The wallet is the pipeline, no? It coordinates, hands out work etc etc, so, well you know what I'm saying. It doesn't seem to be a problem to add a network bandwidth monitor, why not a simple readout to show connected miners? And just now I notice two Found Blocks for pool 0! And then I notice that the wallet hasn't synched and is 22 hours behind on block 5654 for some reason. *sigh* Time for something else for a while. If you are trying to test the 290 with this coin, you'll need to set it up as device 0.

I think we have another fork guys ..
What makes you say that? Aside from the first fork the rest were hard forks by dev to sort out the diff algo.

@Atomicat which r9 290 do you have and what settings do you use for them?
It's an XFX I just picked up last week. Cards max out at --shaders 1792,2560 --shaders-mul 9,6. Got three New block detected's so far and four Found Block's. Four hardware errors on the 290, none on the other. Could be card/driver/bios. I just picked it up and haven't thrashed it into shape yet (damn, no hynix mem!) I think the person who sold it to me thought they were dumping a lemon. It had one of those awful blocks for a cooler and my jaw dropped when I saw it was idling at 80C! But I intended to slap this Thermaltake 2.0 on it anyways, and now it stays under 70 no matter what the voltage or load. Quite possible he might have cooked it a bit just trying to run anything. So, one valid block somewhere because I'm at 5613 now. Going to update those drivers, back in a bit. You can only mine on the first card until dev works on the miner. Everyone with multi card rigs has this problem.

Your investors are biting an already bloody tongue. Been to the exchange lately? Tunnel vision is not the answer. sphericon hammered out an app over a few days, something your "TEAMS" familiarity with your code could have done in hours.
Yes i did and it is far from perfect. I have been talking to danosphere about syscoin and I support him and the team 100%. They are doing as much as possible to get everything running. You guys need to relax. Lots of great things are ahead in the near future. I have personally seen something on irc in the last 8 hours that will blow the entire crypto community away once the dev finishes testing. If you don't believe in syscoin at this point you are a damn fool. Sell me your syscoin. Perfect can't be built unless you know the entire story. Sphericon, I hold no grudge against you, your intentions are golden with me.

Thanks for the continued support we will update with the progress that's been made over the past week and the testing of new features. Sundays are always an 'update' day for the syscoin team, as for the comments in relation to ' don't give up ' etc they won't be addressed as we have stated a thousand times within this thread, no one is giving up.
Thanks all, speak soon.
what on earth makes people think we are giving up? Your investors are biting an already bloody tongue. Been to the exchange lately? Tunnel vision is not the answer. sphericon hammered out an app over a few days, something your "TEAMS" familiarity with your code could have done in hours.

I'm going to have to continue tomorrow.
There are few issues with the checkpoint that I have to address before I can release 0.3.6
I ask for your patience.
You know my position, take your time, get it right.

Fork is ready. I'm compiling Wallet 0.3.6
So, I've been mining this whole time and you are hard forking it again? (no I'm kidding) Yay. And for everyone repeatedly asking if the mining has opened again, no! Not until tomorrow... And certainly not when the new wallet has been released. No way... (Think they bought it?)

shitty wallet,shitty algo,esp shitty miner!!!!!!!!
Well now, if you are better at migrating old code from 256bit hash to 320bit, then get off your hands and show us all what you got.

Strange... I'm mining (or rather checking configs) with a 7950 and an R9-290 but it won't accept 8 for shaders multiplier. This is my batch, which works.
cgminer.exe --kryptohash -o 127.0.0.1:38912 -u xxx -p xxx --shaders 1792,2560 --shaders-mul 8,4
Swap your shaders-mul 4,8 Your going to get HW errors on the second card anyway until cgminer is worked on.

Damn. The Diff jumped to 516 I'm going to have to do another hard fork to fix this. I'm about to give up on this new Diff algo. I'm working on a new Wallet v0.3.6. It is going to take few hours. Network conditions can change quite a bit in 100 blocks, I'd have gone with modified version of KGW.

Has anybody with a second GPU tried running two instances of cgminer, one for each GPU?
example of a batch file:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe --kryptohash --device 0 --gpu-platform 0 -o 127.0.0.1:39424 -u user -p pass --shaders 2048 --shaders-mul 8 cgminer.exe --kryptohash --device 0 --gpu-platform 1 -o 127.0.0.1:39424 -u user -p pass --shaders 2048 --shaders-mul 8
I'm don't have a second GPU to test right now. I've ordered a new one but, it isn't going to arrive till next week.
two graphics cards ? Yes, contrary to popular belief, it has been tried.
