161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or litecoin ? on: August 15, 2018, 07:20:59 PM
Well? Let's hear it.

Despite the fact that btc is more popular litecoin is also OK for me in terms of its ability to be a means of payment. I even used it a couple of times for buying goods in China.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: August 15, 2018, 10:31:38 AM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?
Icodrops.com seems to be a reliable web resourse that classifies ICOs based on certain criteria of popularity.
Also, there are numerous telegram groups (I use just few of them) giving analysis of upcoming and current ICOs.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: August 15, 2018, 10:28:52 AM
So only 8% of ICOs are reliable projects with tokens being traded on exchanges..
Wow, that's a very disappointing figure and a scary tendency.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: August 13, 2018, 09:36:44 PM
Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Heroes and legendaries get good rewards (you can easily calculate that by analysing a spreadsheet of any bounty campaign). The problem is that tokens are sold at lower prices than 5 months ago - some coins lose around 75-90 percent of their initial value after being listed on exchanhes.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: August 13, 2018, 09:25:15 PM
please i need advice from those traders have has been in the business for long, how do you combine it with your other normal life activities , i mean cryptocurrency trading , i just started and am glued to my phone every second , advice will be appreciated  Grin Grin Grin Grin
You can follow this rule: check prices 2-3 times a day (in the morning when you grab your phone for the first time, in the evening and maybe in the middle of the day). By doing that you'll have enough time to do your ordinary activities and you won't miss any significant changes on the market.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good Signature Campaign on: August 12, 2018, 11:28:09 AM
Hello Bounty Hunter Friends,

Could you please tell me which signature campaign is the best for now? And, Please share your way how to choose a good signature or social bounty?

Thank You
You can use this table: http://bounty.slavyansk.biz  and then do your own research on the campaigns you like.
There is also a bunch of Telegram groups that give recommendations on bounty campaigns.
Finally, you can investigate icodrops.com and try to find the prospective projects that currently have bounties.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to get reliable bounties on: August 12, 2018, 11:24:31 AM
I have seen a lot threads here about how to choose good bounties. It shows the challenges many of us here are going through in choosing a good bounty. If you really want to maximize  your chances of participating in bounties of successful ICOs, i will recommend Bountyhive for you. The success rate of their bounties is very high. Their social media campaign is less stressful because of the absence of weekly reports. They have a limit as to the number of participants in each campaign thereby enabling you to earn a higher income. Although there are certain drawbacks in their processes such as your inability to see your weekly earnings on their spreadsheet, in general their services are really good and i will recommend for everyone
The abscence of a spreadsheet is not just a drawback, it is a catastrophe for a bounty hunter because he cannot control his work and whether he meets the terms and conditions of the campaign.
So I would strongly recommend not to enter bounty campaigns that do not have spreadsheets or at least some other indication of the stakes you earned.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is going to hit 200 USD? on: August 12, 2018, 11:20:20 AM
What's happening with Ethereum? The most promising coins becoming garbage! Yes, we know the bearish market has come again, but ETH in 330 USD?! It is unbelievable. People told that In August, the crypto bull market will start and now we are seeing the bearish market ever in 2018! I can't believe ETH is now 330 USD. What about you guys?
I entered crypto when Ethereum was $700, and now I also cannot believe my eyes - it lost more tham 50% of its value.
The reason can be the general down trend and the fact that investors are exchanging alts to btc hoping that it will rocket after positive decision on btc ETF.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: August 08, 2018, 02:50:52 PM
There is an ico from the Krypital team: Merculet. The project of this team was quite successful before: Cybermiles, Arcblock. Do you think this is a good ico? Should continue to join ico in the moment?

Krypital is a trustworthy company and you can be sure that you will be paid in time and the tokens of the projects supported by Krypital will have a nice price.
So go on and join their campaigns!
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: August 08, 2018, 02:48:30 PM
It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites.
I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.
I presume that you already gave up and unwilling to participate in any other promotional campaigns..
Don't you think you were unsuccessful just because you didn't bother about choosing only the best bounty campaigns?
There are so many topics on this forum describing how to identify scam - try to read them and analyze the information.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: August 07, 2018, 10:50:40 PM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?
Bounty managers are not responsible for the general policy of the project, they are just doing the job they were hired for. So I don't think they should be blamed for the project to become a scam - they can do nothing about that.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: August 06, 2018, 07:37:27 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
What you described looks like the behavior of bounty hunters who try to get their money as soon as possible and the earned tokens at once.
A smart investor would never hurry, he would analyze the market first and hold the tokens as long as possible.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: August 06, 2018, 07:29:57 PM
Knowing that you could get free coins from Airdrops, would you exchange it once you got the coins or hold it until the vslue rises up?
I would prefer holding until the coin makes several X because at a regular peice the value of such free tokens would be close to the fee for sending them to an exchange.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: August 01, 2018, 03:32:45 PM
What does crypto mean to you - a means to a fast buck or a step into the future.
Crypto is revolutionary both as a means of payment and the technology for handling and storage of big data.
Though now it is percieved by most people as a way to earn quick money - so why should I stay away from the trend?  Wink
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: August 01, 2018, 03:29:27 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!
Whales won't wait for 2 years and will definitely hype the market in order to get their profit.
The market's behavior is cyclical, so I think we should be ready for another pump in several months.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: August 01, 2018, 03:24:59 PM
I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
I think ICOs won't end for yet another couple of years because there are so many aspects of our live that can be integrated with blockchain.
Hopefully, the quality of new ICOs and bounties will not gradually go down..
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: August 01, 2018, 02:52:04 PM
There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???
It is unlike that bitcoin is superseeded by any other crypto in the nearest several years.
In fact, something horrible should happen for bitcoin to lose its 1st place and I can't even think of a possible scenario.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: July 31, 2018, 06:59:58 PM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?
I actually do that - I've told all my friends and relatives about crypto and some of them are almost ready to invest.
The only problem is the initial capital - not everybody have spare several thousand dollars that can easily be lost.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: July 28, 2018, 08:22:59 PM
....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.
Alts depend on btc because they are constantly being converted to btc.
It is not enough just to declare the freedom from bitcoin, some practical steps should be done. For example, creation of a blokchain that would become even more popular than bitcoin's blockchain - in this case btc will dependent on such an altcoin.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you still afraid of? on: July 25, 2018, 07:12:48 PM
Some people have been afraid of crypto for quite some time now. I feel majority ought to have overcome this fear.
- People still panic and loose their profits.
- Some panic and loose participating in good projects.
- Some panic is loose their holding.
- Some panic and miss the opportunities in crypto.
If fear does not do any good, why do we then still fear?
It's all about emotions, and not everybody is capable of coping with them.
One should have these "steel balls" to deal with crypto, otherwise he will lose his money.
