It's always bit of chaos post halving because we may see frequent fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin just like what we have witnessed in last ten days and this will continue until the begining of bull run so there are possibilities of some users hesitant to invest especially newbie who have invested when Bitcoin was trending at $72k or above $70k but veterans are aware that this is the last best opportunity to invest before bull runs and they will advantage of this situation. I think we would see more investors popping in.

On a short term it has benefitted Bitcoin as the price of Bitcoin has surged and it spread more awareness about Bitcoin and helped more people to know Bitcoin who were not aware but we need to understand the difference between ETF and Bitcoin as ETF is more controlled by government so I cannot comment on future but at the moment it has helped Bitcoin's publicity as well as attracted more investors.

NFT games are not my best choice anymore. On 2021, they were good and the top choice in the market but the hype is gone. I understand that a lot of devs trying to make their games and projects alive again because we're likely going into the bull run to everyone needs to understand that most of them are cyclical projects that whenever they're done with it, it's best to start moving on when you don't see any hope from them because they've been built based on hypes.
I think Bitcoin is the best option and will ever remain the best investment because we have noticed almost all the Altcoin's value were fluctuating based on the value of Bitcoin. There are high risk in Altcoin investment and people may get struck for years waiting for Altcoin value to increase hence I would prefer majority of investment in Bitcoin and rest into Altcoin. |

I wonder if people still mention transactions as crypto or under remarks and it should be stopped immediately, we need to understand one sole thing that the governments will always be against anything which they cannot control and they control everything but that cannot control crypto market and transaction hence they will keep on figuring out a way to instill fear in people's mind.

Only those who don't understand the Bitcoin ecosystem will lose confidence and may not get involved much because they would have thought their profit will surge post halving which doesn't way that way but it's been fed into people's mind that Bitcoin will increase their investment by multiple folds post halving. I don't think this would have huge impact.

Initially I was in loss as the value has dropped but at the sametime I have utilized my emergency fund and invested in SOL and right now I am roughly 10% in profit overall. This is an opportunity to gain some quick profit but we shouldn't get carried away with the market trend as it can change and we may see even further dip hence always play with stoploss which I have used for my Altcoin investment but I haven't applied the same for Bitcoin because I know it will surge for sure.

Agreed with how you have described the success of Doge and Shib but still I don't buy this because we are only looking at success of early adopters and there were thousands who lost money of same coins and it's nearly impossible task to choose from hundreds of memecoins as we are not sure which one will skyrocket but there would surely be memecoins which may have highest profit during bullrun but identifying them is a tough job and people will possibly end up losing more and I don't want to go ahead with any suggested projects but rather would do my own research.

Not meant to be rude but I don't think you have ever done future trading nor you have even slightest idea about it because you cannot hold on for a day in future trading because the chances of getting liquidated are higher and you don't randomly follow the telegram signals as they just sell crap as signals.
The only way to stay profitable in future trading is to stick to Bitcoin and use 2x or max 3x leverage nothing more than that.

There are lot of misunderstanding which is common for newcomers and halving is one of them and it's trending now due to the latest halving event which took place, I think people should try doing little bit of research and check the historic data related to this halving event because the way halving is hyped those who are not aware of crypto or new to crypto will feel bull run will occur immediately after halving which has never happened as it takes couple of months for bull run post halving.

Bitcoin has been in great run for over three months now and I think if this continues then there are chances of achieving new ATH even before halving. We cannot expect it to cross or touch the landmark figure of $100000 anytime before halving and just one advice that don't get carried away as few market correction and fluctuations are imminent and let's not blow it off during those phase by selling it all only to buy back at higher price.
Many hodlers has used this 3 months to make a good profit from the market, before the price begins to dump for people to get ready for another bear run that will introduce another ATH when the price pump higher to increase people profit in the future. Since the price has touched $72k as the highest price in the market, I guess it will hit above $100k before halving because the price is still moving between $63 and $65, which there are some signs, those that are still hodling their BTC will smile before the end of this year. Many BTC investors have learned lesson not to sell all their BTC once there is a bull market than to sell half of their BTC and reserve some in case the price go higher in the future they will not regret than to be happy that they are part of the luck investors. Partially aligned with you because no matter how many times they face the harsh reality of witnessing new ATH after a dump still people would panic sell their hodlings, in last few days we have seen people selling off either in the fear of losing it all or to stop any further loss. I think this is like a springboard wherein we are provided with one more buy opportunity before the bull run and should be utilized to buy instead of regretting it later. |

If selling gold is what go you discouraged then that is an easy part to solve, they are lots of stores that still buy gold till date and many investment vehicles that can allow you to invest in gold, but from what i see you probably wanted to bug some godl chain and consider it an investment, and that is hardly how they invest in gold.
More over gold is more like a store of value kind asset that an investment cause gold has quite reached its maturity and does not give much profits this days, unless you have a huge capital to invest, and having gold can be good too if you want to pay for something without using cash.
Exactly, people just need to understand how to invest and they are so short sighted that they don't understand how to invest and how to make it valuable. I usually don't prefer buying physical gold because I have to keep it secure and sometimes greedy shops charge higher commission/wastage fee if you want to sell it. I rather prefer gold bonds which is like online gold and we can sell them off anytime at the market price and there are so many plans which offers you to invest in gold and they will keep it secure instead of buying physical gold. |

If you look at the current trend especially this week it's bit bearish but Altcoins can give more profits than the Bitcoin during the bullrun and they can be classified into different segment like new altcoins with potential as they can provide massive profit if it's potential is identified and is listed in top exchange, established coins which can hardly provide any profits like XRP and then there are coins which couldn't get the deserving pump in previous bull run or had fairly performed well and have potential to do it again like SOL.
Just don't panic sell by looking at the current market which is temporary.

Sorry to hear your ordeal and some will blame you instead of emphasizing with your situation and act like they have never made any mistake in life. Mate, this shit happens every time when the Bitcoin's value is on higher side and I hate this stuff and most of us don't like the huge transaction fee levied upon us but still some justify. Ensure you check the transaction fee going forward as sometimes it would be more than the amount which you want to send.

They are trying to make it cashless ecosystem thus promoting cashless transactions and to be honest this not done considering the convenient of the users but rather to ensure everything is tracked and accounted for as they cannot keep a track when you use cash but digital transactions are recorded. Just to give you an hint, earlier when there was no digital payment there used to be paper bills and any business will file the tax returns and even tax will be based on those bill which could be manipulated but now everything is online and no one can evade tax except big businesses who work hand in hand with government.
Cash will not completely disappear but rather used less and it's a way for government to track everything.

You have answered the question yourself, usually the bull runs starts post few months of halving. But this year we have seen very good spike in the value of Bitcoin even before the halving due to factors like spot ETF approval. I think we just need to wait for some more month like mid of next year or end if this year to witness the bull run and until then there would be uncertainty in the market as we will go through some rough phase of frequent fluctuations.

Completely disagree as we have already seen so much of gun related crimes and shooting in schools and some so called mentally unstable person going on rampage and killing spree. I think no one should have access to gun accept the relevant security services and authorities and rather we should ensure we have more trained personnel to tackle the crime and there should be enough security and safety to curb on the crimes and send the criminals behind the bar which would reduce the incidents and there is absolutely no need of guns for ordinary person.

Mass adoption will indeed increase the price of Bitcoin massively but I don't think it's possible or the idea of bitcoin being the world digital currency is also not feasible, let's be more realistic if Bitcoin has to be adopted as global digital currency then it has to be accepted by all the nations but we have more nations hostile towards crypto than the crypto friendly ones hence I don't think it would work out anytime sooner.

Educating others is good but patronizing or asking them to buy a particular coins is bit risky advice because it becomes a financial advice and if there is any market instability or the coin dumps will you take the responsibility as you have asked them to buy these coins? Refrain asking people to buy but rather share opinions or your observations. We can never be 100% sure on any coin except Bitcoin and we have seen what happened to big projects like FTX, LUNA and all.

I do see you have covered some points and other forum members have added further like El Salvador's legalization of Bitcoin. But the most important thing which is basic of Bitcoin is people should know why it was created ? It was created for decentralized P2P transfer without any third party's involvement be it bank or financial institutes but not it has been used as a mere investment scheme hence educating newbies on basics will be important.

Airdrops are hot topics nowadays as it's free money at the end of the day for the amount you stake for a very limited period of time but though the amount we receive in airdrop is very little but as you have mentioned that you and your friend have been participating in all such events then it's possible to accumulate something but this requires us to be active and dedicate more time to the crypto market. I have seen people receiving decent amount through memecoin airdrop (but I am not a fan of memecoins and it's airdrop).
