Thank you, will investigate and probably commit soon.

1. It is up to user to decide about mixin. Technically the same. Also XDN has almost no dust in blockchain (you can`t mix dust) due to the output structure. ANd Yes, indeed, messages itself make XDN far more anonymous at that moment. Imagine, you can pay using a secret payment ID hidden in message.
One difference is that Monero has a million times higher transaction fee(in $) which makes monero transactions with high mixing very expensive(i have lost at least 1$ is fees when mining and selling monero despite only using minimal mixing). Having a hardcoded transaction fee is really stupid, this was one of the reasons why i traded my 12 monero i had mined for XDN(0.00001339 XMR/XDN). I will check out simplewallet messages when i boot with Linux again, i didn't find any information about how to send them when using the "help" command. only code reading, only hardcore, just kidding, will add info to 'help' in next release.

At that moment XDN anonymity is above or absolutely equal to Monero in terms of technology. But XDN got crypto messages.
I though XMR was ahead in anonymity currently(more transactions and at minimum mixing of 2), can you explain how XDN is better? is it related to the ability to send messages? I noticed when composing a self destruction message(never sent it) that the(minimum) fee was constant 0.001 XDN no matter how much i wrote or which time limit i chose, i found that a bit odd. It seams that you cant send messages from the CLI wallet, why is that? 1. It is up to user to decide about mixin. Technically the same. By CLI you mean simplewallet? We have both simplewallet console and RPC for messages, check the latest commits: https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnote/commit/01adc3c61a18e43a9c53ea6d35d302adf47d9630 Simplewallet console message sending https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnote/commit/bdea9dd303637f3e85d7f6e44f0ea93ef95b7871 Messages 2.0 +Release notes 3.1.0-beta + +- Messages 2.0 core support +- Messages API for simplewallet +- Basic access authentication

I believe a good strategy would be to spread the awareness about XDN to dissidents, they would benefit from being able to send messages and money anonymously.
I think if they can improve their anonymity, then since there is a segment of the web (darknet) very interested to it, it would be good to marketing over there, at the right time. At that moment XDN anonymity is above or absolutely equal to Monero in terms of technology. But XDN got crypto messages.

I would suggest donating some to Dnote, i am considering giving away 1 million XDN but i need to be sure it goes to a person that deserve it. Our aim should be spot 1 at coinmarketcap.com, nothing less.
Some asked how much funds do we (devs) have. I can clearly answer not much. We are not miners or traders, we are devs. We mined it with an average CPU since the beginning. We do not have rigs and we do not trade coins. This is the tech project for us. In other words we work for free. And we are ok with that. And we are accepting donations ddeVS7qSiYeH5dvXbEjcA1hqQsLxfqsnVBwfZVVeGoUbGfHByAmm2ppSz2vRpxQwVQUZ5EaeGczJDgDgcYdnSBmh1x553grb8 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517935

Finally, Monero has implemented confidential ring signatures, which will go into effect in the upcoming hardfork in the next few weeks. This technology will completely mask the amount being sent in any transaction. This is something that no other Cryptonote will have when it goes into effect.
This one really good, no comment on other.

Can anyone explain to me how does messaging in XDN client wallet works? I sent a message and paid the fees, and set the anonymous level.
But it has been 48 hours and it only has 0 confirmations! It means message not sent?
Did you checked self-destruction timer? If so, it will not be included in blockchain and will be destroyed (deleted from tx pool) after some time and will always be 0 confirmations. If I'm not mistaken I think you represent XDN. I wanna make you some questions very important to me. How the anonymity of XDN is better than that of Bitcoin, Monero and other well established altcoins? Do you think in the near future XDN will be used in the Darknet as one of the main coins. Considering that being used in the Darknet would bring a good amount of money to DigitalNote, and makes it stronger. Are you guys working on that aspect too? XDN anonymity is the same as Monero because both use CryptoNote technology. But XDN has private encrypted messages with self-destruction feature, that makes XDN more anonymous than Monero. You can use messages not just for sending message but also to include some private transaction info, like payment ID (encrypted payment id). We are working on XDN core and its security. We are trying to make it more secure with the new types of PoA blocks.

XDN has made a big marketing mistake: it changed its name and main post too many times.
Much appreciate any opinion here. But we see this fact a little different. XDN names is like a stage names. Can compare it with Ubuntu names like Trusty Tahr, Utopic Unicorn, Vivid Vervet, etc. Name doesn't matter, only blockchain and its inviolability and its features.

Do any of you guys know how we could sell things for XDN on a website? Dnote hasn't really replied.
You can collect XDN payments on a website, using simplewallet or walletd. Unfortunately now you should make XDN integration by yourself, but you do have all tools you need with simplewallet or walletd JSON-RPC. We do not have out-of-the-box modules for CMS and popular e-commerce solutions. But we do have a pretty good JSON-RPC on both wallets so you can make your own payment module.

Me other team members are always here, watching. We are focused on work, sorry for slow activity in public relations.
I know crypto can be an unforgiving adventure. I have seen many coins come and go in my time. There are at least two parts to crypto coins...I once asked a very respected person what was the key to prosperity. He said " Knowing what your good at and understanding what your not....Maybe you need help in the marketing department. This coin has potential....See it to its fullest. Don't cheat yourself. Sure, appreciate every help with marketing, if community want that. We do not have any "marketing department" But we have an awesome cryptoplatform with crypto messages and respected privacy and we are making it better. Every time we make a release, we deliver some new feature. Why? Because we like it, because we use it. It is like climbing the stairs, on some step more people are joining you, because they enjoy that like you. Indeed, XDN has a great future and we are passionate about that, but never, never hurry with very important features and updates.

Hi Guys I have a question, I made a deposit in the wallet after a month its shows spent. Did I do something wrong? Please help. Is it gone? Hi, If we are talking about deposits it is better to see "deposits tab" Deposit spend means you made a withdrawal of your deposit, so your XDN not locked and you can make deposit again or move your funds.

Cryptonote is very promising and any fairly launched coins using cryptonote are worth having.
Not just any fairly launched coin using Cryptonote. A Cryptonote coin without a tail emission is very vulnerable to becoming insecure when the block subsidy runs out or becomes very small. Cryptonote scales the blocksize by imposing a penalty that is dependent on the block subsidy. Make the block subsidy zero or insignificant and there is no penalty. This creates an effective infinite blocksize. My take is that Bytecoin will provide an early warning of this precisely because of the pre-mine / ninja-mine. Instead of the classic "canary in the coal mine", one can think here of the "canary in the pre-mine / ninja-mine". There is a reason why Monero has a tail emission. Edit: On the related issue in Bitcoin the "small blocksize crowd" in Bitcoin also make a very valid point because of the above issue, since Bitcoin, without a tail emission, needs to create a fee market, likely by restricting the blocksize, in order to ensure the long term viability of Bitcoin. XDN is a CryptoNote and has a min block reward = 150 XDN. Will keep it static and will try to never reach max.coin value because will implement rules like "1/2 fee burning and recycle".
