161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHALES DIDN'T SELL THEIR BTC. (ANALISYS TABLE) on: March 30, 2018, 04:15:58 AM
where did you get this table from, i dont see a source for any of this data and it just looks like some made up numbers written in an excel sheet.  Please stop spreading fud like this because it doesnt help the price at all because no one is dumb enough to believe this.  But if you do have information to back up this data, by all means, please share it.  We'd love to see how you came up with these numbers.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you could lock in a year end price on: March 29, 2018, 11:35:55 PM
I think bitcoin if bitcoin hits $10k it will most likely see another bull run back up to 20k because it might give people more hope which could make them buy back in.  With that being, if bitcoin doesnt hit $10k by the end of 2018 or beginning of 2019 then i think this recession will last for a long time and we might have to wait another few years for the next bull run which is what happened after bitcoin crashed after its rise to $1k.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fall of crypto is near on: March 29, 2018, 10:36:02 PM
I am in immense pain to say that i foresee the fall. I would not be surprised if we lose from this point to 50-60 percent.
Accirding to my knowledge institutional investors are bidding out from crypto and stocks.
Stocks has already dwindling now and same will comeback to crypto.
I know some will say it is a fud but friends i am not joking. You are free to not  to buy my thoughts.
Hope i will save someone.
Thank you.
Price today: 7930 usd per bitcoin.

Ps: sorry for typos i am on smartphone and oil is in my hands, i saw something ehich i could not resist..so i decided to spread my words with you guys.

Price is $1000 lower than that as of now.  I have to disagree with you though because i dont think its the end of crypto i think its just a long expected correction.  People were saying the same thing when btc went from $1200 down to less than $300.  I think that we will experience a recovery but theres no telling when it will happen due to the hopelessness that many investors feel right now.  If prices dont recover by June i think the recession will last a lot longer but i dont think this is the end.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: March 28, 2018, 07:40:36 PM
Simply holding is really a boring process and will never allow you to grow your bitcoins so I will prefer to go for trading and investing in different altcoins with good potential either to rise in short term or in long term and it can give me huge profits in quick time which is never possible with holding coins and that is the reason I will put my vote on trading different coins daily instead of holding it too long.

I dont think bordom is what most people think about when trying to make a money.  A disciplined investor will wait patiently if he/she has to to keep their money safe or grow it.  Second of all, growing your bitcoin or altcoin stack is one way of looking at investing but most people really only care about growing their fiat stack a.k.a making money.  Growing your crypto stack is not a bad thing but it does come with the risk of trading and for u.s traders it comes with extra tax issues because each trade is considered a taxable event.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big gains come with big losses on: March 28, 2018, 06:19:33 PM
Your point is good though, I hope everyone is thinking the same like you.

Many people that loses a big amount of money in the Cryptocurrency madness last year are those people that just got hyped up by the sudden increase in price and they didn't think too much to what's the consequences of their decision if something goes wrong. Experience is the best teacher so let them learn their own lesson for it will help them grow.

Bitcoin or any other good Altcoins would keep going up forever only if people keep on using them forever. We know nothing to what's coming but at least we're doing something.

I hope everyone can come to this realization too.  I see this type of thinking/behavior a lot on the ethrader subreddit and it just baffles me that people think this way.  When eth hit $1400 then went down to like $1200 people were saying "just got in at $1200, such a steal. cant wait to see $2000".  There were many variations of this same statement by many people and it just proved to me that money blinds people.  The same thing happened when people bought btc at $19.5k and then they starting saying "Im not even worried" when btc hit $10k.  This fomo behavior will destroys peoples financial lives.
166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Big gains come with big losses on: March 28, 2018, 02:49:20 AM
To everyone complaining about the current situation crypto is in or questioning why its happening you need to keep in mind that if something triples in price in a relatively short period of time, it can crash just as hard in the same period of time.  I remember when eth had its climb up $1400 people were ecstatic and they thought that we were never gonna see sub $1k eth again when just a few months ago eth was just $300.  This greed brought on by the price influxes is blinding people from the reality that crypto prices cant keep going up forever.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you will do? on: March 28, 2018, 12:10:48 AM
In these situations I tend to hold because its the only safe way for me to guarantee that I wont lock in a loss.  The few times i've tried trading ive ended up losing more money or i end up with less coins which is why i tend to hold more than I trade.  Trading would be good if you have the ability to not panic when something does not go you way and there could be a lot of money to be made doing it.  But I tend to like to play things on the safe side so I tend to hold.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: March 27, 2018, 11:34:13 PM
The reason why most people recommend holding is because once you decide to sell at a loss, those losses get locked it.  Holding is a way to get through the downtrend without having to take the risk of trading.  With that being said, if you have experience trading in a downtrend or even a bull run you could make more money doing that than holding.  Trading does come with more risk though if the trend that you are trending one ends or rapidly changes (which it usually does) you could lose a lot of money.
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: March 27, 2018, 11:07:13 PM
worth taking into account the emotional/time cost of trading regularly vs HODL.
Time is money of course
Holding is something which you can only do once you dint have need of having money on urgent basis and that you are comfortable with keeping your coins in your wallet for sufficiently greater time. however, trading is really a tough job to do and for that, you need to do all of efforts and hard work. It all depends on your personal capabilities as well as your daily routine and interest which can help you in deciding the things.
This is something that is sometimes overlooked, holding becomes way easier if you really do not have any kind of need for that money if that is not the case then holding your bitcoins is going to become almost an impossible task because you are always going to wonder what are you going to do to pay your bills or to pay your rent and you will always think of your bitcoin as a way to overcome your problems, so first you need to solve all your economic problems and then you can hold bitcoin.

I completely agree with this and this is why I always tell people never invest more than they can lose when they ask me for trading/investing advice.  Having extra money that is not tied to any bills or expenses is the only money that you should be investing because if that money is tied to a time constraint such as rent or the electricity bill then you could be forced to sell in a downtrend when you just want to hold.  The same thing applies to people who buy crypto using their credit cards, if you dont have the money in the bank to already pay it off dont do it.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin next move down on: March 27, 2018, 10:54:29 PM
From my observations I think we'll be in a downtrend for at least the next month because confidence in crypto at an all time low for the past year plus.  I think that the recent bull traps that caught many people off guard are giving people a sense of no recovery which could make more people sell.  With that being said i think we are way over sold and its only a matter of time until we start recovering.  furthermore, the next recovery (if it happens) should bring us to new highs by the end of 2018.

I have concerns your account was bought recently, changed password, long post gap and different post style. If you can, I can accept you on probation.  Smiley

The reason why there was a gap is because I became inactive for a while and the reason I changed the password is because I always for it lol.
If you need further proof I can show you emails that i've bought all the domains that i've sold on here.

174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: good news!! on: March 25, 2018, 03:13:37 AM
Yahoo Japan is planning to launch its own cryptocurrency exchange, a report indicates

https://www.coindesk.com/yahoo-japan-launch-cryptocurrency-exchange-2018-says-report/

Added a big man in the technology industry and accepts crypto.
what do you think?

This is seems to pretty good news, so i hope it leads to the next bull run.  If there is a bitcoin exchange in Japan, I can see that bringing a lot more money into crypto which would give us the bump that we currently need.  Plus since microsoft owns yahoo that means that microsoft is beginning to take more interest in the crypto world which could signify bigger things in the future.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: March 25, 2018, 03:08:58 AM
We always hear people posting about their awesome trades and/or gains but very rarely hear about the stupid things that people do. With that in mind, let's hear the biggest brainfarts you've had while trading crypto...

I bought litecoin at $49.5 several months ago and this was when bitcoin began its bull run up to 10k or a bit more.  I was certain that litecoin was going to catch up but it was taking a while to start rising.  Once it did start rising I felt like it was going to crash soon after it rose so i sold at $67.  Literally like 2 weeks later it hit $420 and i missed out on like 9x my money.  Im still mad to this day lol.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cashing out and converting to other assets on: March 25, 2018, 03:06:20 AM
How do you cash out of altcoins? what would you buy and why not gold, real estate?

If i made a significant amount of money from crypto i would definitely look into real estate.  you could make money in real estate by leveraging your money (through a mortgage) and try to buy a rental property.  The rent from the property will have to pay for your mortgage payment, repair costs, taxes, etc so you would have to find a good deal.  You can check out bigger pockets on youtube they go over this a lot and interview people you have succeeded in real estate.
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: March 25, 2018, 03:01:27 AM
You should definitely stay in college right now man.  The money your making right now might be nice but dont let the greed blind you.  All this money your making is temporary and it could disappear in an instant because there is not certainty when it comes to investing.  College will give you a degree which is worth something and will help you throughout your whole life.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A free bot for hodlers on: March 25, 2018, 02:59:46 AM
Quick question, why would you need a bot to monitor your investments if your holding? You can just check your balances on the site.  Furthermore, is the bot open source? because I dont think anybody is gonna download it if its not.  Im not saying your a scammer but its hard to trust things like this especially when it involves logging into your trading accounts.
179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: March 24, 2018, 07:40:21 AM
If your a new trader its definitely good advice to try to not look at the prices too often because then you could make irrational decisions if the price suddenly moves.  In reality this is never the case because your very excited about your investment and checking the price seems like a must.  Ive been investing for a decent amount of time now and i look at prices hundreds of times a day on my phone, it doesnt really affect how i trade because im still very disciplined but i just check it because its a habit.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Four factors driving the price of Bitcoin on: March 23, 2018, 10:19:06 PM
I think the factors that drive the price of bitcoin are FUD and greed.  lets be honest here, most people who buy bitcoin are not looking to use it as a form of payment, theyr trying to make money.  So when they see their investment plummeting down they begin to panic and start selling off because they think it could be going to zero.  The inverse of this situation is true as well.  FUD also plays a roll in this because it usually initiates the sell off.
