161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: August 30, 2014, 10:35:56 PM
As you wish:

My 750Tis are numbered 0 - 4 (inclusive); I have two in my desktop, #1 and #4.

https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/Wolf_750Ti_1_clocks.png  --  Clocks on #1
https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/Wolf_750Ti_4_clocks.png  --  Clocks on #4
https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/Wolf_750Ti_1_powertbl.png  --  Power table on #1 (same on #4, so I didn't screencap that one)

The above were taken on my Windows laptop where I edit the BIOSes - the following are hashrates from the desktop:

https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/x11wolf750ti.png  --  I think GPU #0 in ccminer maps to #1, and #1 to #4, but I'm not totally sure. 2.6MH/s - 2.75MH/s X11.
I was about the say that your new background was PG-13, but that doesn't work for the last one   Grin
I wondering when someone was going to comment on Wolf's desktop backgrounds…   Grin  lol

Any way we could get djm's latest contributions (xcn, etc) up on the release page at http://cudamining.co.uk?
With this thread growing so fast, I think the importance of cudamining.co.uk only will increase as a place where miners easily can find the latest releases (but also relevant donation addresses for devs).
If it's to much work for the devs and bigjme, perhaps a trusted third party in the community could help out to keep it updated.

Heavycoin is looking surprisingly profitable right now (albeit with somewhat low volume) on Cryptsy.  I vote that HEFTY1 algorithm be added for mining, and Heavycoin be included for auto-conversion.

I encountered a problem trying to use Splitscreen (latest version available from cudamining.co.uk, 2.0.5)

Code:
Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRange
Exception: StartIndex cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: startIndex
   at System.String.Remove(Int32 startIndex)
   at goexit(Int32 errcode)
   at main(Int32 argc, SByte** argv)
   at _mainCRTStartup()

Then when I ran debug in MSVS, it gave me these details:
Code:
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException was unhandled
Message: An unhandled exception of type 'System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException' occurred in mscorlib.dll
Additional information: StartIndex cannot be less than zero.

Hope this helps!

that's because you don't know where to search and don't read the thread (and also that I am to lazzy to update bigjme website)

Read the thread…1004 pages…yeah…  -_-

rather cool the new version of msi AB, it is now possible to arrange the graph on several columns (mask half of the screen... but hey...)

Hey dude, ccminer is fairly basic on the data, is there something similar to sgminer for nvidia?
no, I don't think there is anything like that (I mean for OC etc...)

Regarding msi afterburner, it is the version 4.0.0 beta 9

All of my GPUs are MSI, and I got the prompt for the 4.0.1 beta this morning, but I chose to not download it yet.  Rather wait for a full release.

On the topic of CCminer, since it looks like most of you have stopped working on development, who is working on nvMiner?  I see a recent release on that fork, but the source has yet to be posted to GitHub (for any version of it).
lol, you don't post anything for 3 day, then you have stopped...  Grin (I am not sure in which world you are leaving where there is update every 2 days...), it would be a coin, it would be declared dead already
There hasn't been a new version of ccMiner since v1.2 + Cryptonight mod, whereas a new version of nvMiner was just posted a few days ago.  That, plus what you were saying just earlier today about most of you guys retiring from mining is why I said it looked like most of you had stopped development on ccMiner, and why I asked who was working on nvMiner.

I'm running nvMiner and I don't see any difference to ccminer.

Where's my temps, clock speeds, fan speeds etc?  Am I loading AfterBurner to keep an eye on these things?
there is no difference between nvminer and ccminer as it uses mostly the same code (actually there is for whirlcoin, if I remember where it is a little faster)
Also from reading the development/patch notes, nvMiner includes a few more algorithms than ccMiner, including X15.  X15 is why I use nvMiner, since I often use an auto-algo switcher for mining on NiceHash.

Why is the site down right now?
I'm in the IRC chat right now, asking this same question.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] CoinKing.io - A feature packed profit switching multipool for all! on: August 24, 2014, 05:00:59 PM
So I started mining the new Xuro coin yesterday morning, and let it run all day and all night.  This morning my wallet shows 0 Xuro coins, even though my mining progress shows about 22,000 valid shares.  I also notice that the Xuro pool as a whole shows over 145,000 shares, which is almost 300% more than what should have earned a block.
I wonder if there's an issue with wallet update.  I see that the update posted on the news feed points to the v1.2 Xuro update, but the Xuro page says the latest version is 1.2.1, and without that update the wallet will not sync.  Could this be why CoinKing's Xuro pool isn't getting anything for all our work?

PS:  I can't see any way of casting my vote on the poll, but I would vote for X15.

UPDATE:  Block finder was broken.  I inquired about the problem on the IRC channel, and Ron-Mexico looked into it.  Problem solved now, thanks Ron!   Smiley
Still can't figure out how to vote in the poll, though…
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NiceHash Control 1.1.1 - Auto profit switching control for NiceHash servic on: August 23, 2014, 05:47:06 PM
I would just like to give huge thanks to StuffOfInterest for such an incredibly useful multi-algo mining tool!  My only suggestion would be something that has already been suggested, which is the support for multiple multi-algo pools (such as WestHash, YAAMP, TradeMyBit, etc).  I know this is already planned (possibly) for ver 2.0, but I just wanted to throw in my support for this and further development.  I chipped in some mBTC to show that support.   Smiley

Also, to answer DrSnazzy -
I have a few questions. I just setup my Nicehash Control yesterday on 3 computers that are mining.

PC #1 Is my Dedicated 6 750ti card mining rig (MSI cards)

PC#2 has 3 evga 750 ti's on it

and pc #3 has 2 750 ti's (MSI)

I currently have it setup like this :

All the configs for the computers are exactly the same. For example My total x11 hash rate is roughly 26mhs - 27 mhs. I have all the configs with "26000" in the X11 hash rate field, and so on for the other algos according to my hash rate.

They are all pointed to Multiminingrigrent.com as i like that website because i can remotely control where the rigs are pointed from there by changing 1 address rather than changing each rig (if i wanted to go off westhash pool.) They are all pointed at the according west hash stratum. Im set up for NIST5, x15, x11, and x13.

My question is should i have all the rigs hash rates PER rig individually in the config? My mining rig does roughly 15.5 mh/s , should that be the number in the config file? or am i correct by putting my total hash rate including all my Pc's running as the rate used for calculation in the config file. Smiley just trying to get the best profit.

1 more question, is the POWER field per card? or for the whole rig/mining operation?
My opinion is that you should have each rig configured for its own hashpower output and power consumption.  I believe NHC is set up to be configured this way, as a per-rig basis.
So in detail:  yes, input each rig's own hashrate into each separate config file.  Similarly, input each rig's own power consumption into each separate config file.  You want every config file and every NHC monitor/control panel to show true statistics for the rig that it is running on.  Otherwise, you may end up with false profitability rates.
