161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Evaluation of tokens in new ICOs on: April 01, 2019, 02:14:41 PM
It has never been about the price, it has never been about the "value" in an economic sense, it has always been what they are bringing to the table that really mattered the most for me. I have researched maybe 100+ ICO's in my life and I have invested in many coins years ago that literally didn't exist in one minute and than published their wallet the next minute to actually "start" a new coin, so I remember the pre-ico times as well.

The one most important aspect is the difference from all other coins, if a coin and its blockchain is exactly the same as something else than I never invest into it, if they are bringing something new and needed to the community than I do invest.

I still have a lot of Nano for example I got into it during raiblocks and early and I still like it even though it dropped a lot, because I don't care about the price, I care that it is the fastest and cheapest transaction possible in crypto world. So when I invest its the code that matters and the features that matters, not the price.

164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CloneStorm Trader - A platform that is different! on: March 29, 2019, 07:39:17 AM
I understand this is a combined services of exchange and trading signals, right ? Also, are you providing anything like metatrader kind of software based platform for trading or just bot on your web portal ? AI based trading bots are not new to this community and also not becoming hit as most traders are sharing no big difference in their profits levels due to "machine's precision".

Do you offer copy trading feature ? I am not finding anything related to copy trading in your portal but with your name "clonestrom", I was thing that it is a platform which will be mainly focusing "copy / social" trading. It would be good if you confirm regarding this.

It cost so much.
By this rate, I assume that we do not need to pay trading fee for each and every trade when we may make. Still not sure, as I am not able to find in their site and confirm it. But, they say "unlimited trades", hence it might be.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All life with cryptocurrency on: March 29, 2019, 05:13:50 AM
I am sure that the cryptocurrency will very soon enter the life of every inhabitant of the earth and will remain for a long time. Cryptocurrency does not stand still, it is constantly evolving.
When you are talking about inhabitants, are you trying to tell us that one day, goat, chickens and other animals will actually know how to make use of the blockchain or are you just giving a figure of speech because when you talk about the inhabitants of the earth ?

You are not just talking about humans but every living thing on this planet earth which is never possible, though one thing I know for sure is that in years to come 80% of the world population will know about crypto and not just know about crypto but will also be a part of it. But, I do see some special dogs and cats are using mobile phone and television which are done for entertainment purposes. This way, why not they may get trained for actual usage of blockchain too ?

Cryptos are evolving and may become as an omnipresent thing one day or other. Also, I am sure blockchain technology may evolve for the welfare of everyone else in this planet by providing a platform for it.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to find the Newest SHA-256 minable Cryptocurrencies Post them here on: March 28, 2019, 09:37:08 PM
I don't think we have a lot of persons interested in mining anymore because it's a business that would cost a lot of money to setup which many persons can't afford and might not be ready to afford such money because the profit most of the time is nothing to write home about, I think it is better you carry out a list of profitable masternode that one can invest in and make a lot of profit because people are already losing interest in mining and might not be interested if you bring any topic ever related to mining.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela hit by new nationwide powercut for more than three days on: March 28, 2019, 07:24:53 PM
USA has nothing to do with this, its exactly the same as North Korea, they do not allow foreign help from any country aside from China and maybe sometimes Russia and that is why they are facing famine that sees millions starving all the time and that results with people eventually dying from starvation.

Venezuela is going the same route now, they are trying to run the country with a single power and not trying to leave the presidency to the democratically elected officials and in order for that to happen you have to make sure there is no internet, no phone lines, no electricity and everyone should be in so much despair that even when you give them a loaf of bread they think you are a god, in order for a rise to happen there needs to be a fall and the lower you fall the easier to rise.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Citi Has Scrapped Its Plan for a JPM Coin-Like Bank-Backed Cryptocurrency on: March 28, 2019, 05:44:18 PM
What you don't know is that these type of huge companies do not scrap anything away forever, they just bank it in in some storage and just hide it there until they change their minds about it.

All the paper work all the work all the manhour went into this project is not for nothing, they will keep it safe somewhere until they say "hey we had blockchain project as well what happened to it" and than it will resurface and they will keep working on it again. That is how these huge companies sort of become huge because they know what to do and exactly when to do it, sort of going with the trend, they are never too early nor too late to anything, they do it exactly when they need to and even if they are a bit late somehow government bails them out so they are fine with being a bit behind, they want to see what happens to the first one that does this and than if the results are better than expected they follow them.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter moving towards blockchain? on: March 28, 2019, 04:36:55 PM
These companies rely on data storage waaaay too much, they have way to much information in their servers and it costs them a lot of money.

A company like youtube where people constantly upload videos and billions of people watch videos every single day just managed to make profit recently, they couldn't make any profit for a long long time because their server costs was other worldy. Hence, moving to blockchain for these social networks would mean they could potentially cut the server costs down a bit and use blockchain instead.

I know having everything you did on social media implemented on blockchain forever might sound like a daunting thing but these are business and they want to make a lot of profit and if something could make them a single dollar more profit they will take a look into it.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: March 27, 2019, 05:20:33 PM
I think the only problem is not finding money to buy.
The situation for example in Venezuela, yeah the price of bitcoin skyrocketed but its also very difficult to find people that would buy your bitcoin.

Do you really think someone who had 1 bitcoin before all that happened found a buyer right away for their bitcoin when this situation happened ? No, the volume dropped significantly, like nowhere else. That is why when the financial crisis hits the globe (like 2008 one) the price of bitcoin will certainly go up but it will also drop in volume a lot as well. That is the reason it would be a very dangerous market that is prone to manipulation by people with a lot of money who can buy or sell bitcoin in bulk to change the market in their favor. Lets hope we never see those days.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin on WhatsApp Coming on: March 27, 2019, 04:27:29 PM
I believe this would literally change the world. Think about it, sending money wherever you are from and just with a click of a button, hell make it so whatsapp allows it themselves instead of using like wuabit or whatever.

Whatsapp could make a lot of money with this idea, I don't know how and I don't know the execution of such project but if you would allow people to send and receive bitcoin via whatsapp that easily that it will change the world. I mean think about it that would mean people could accept bitcoin in many more stores because all you have to do is send money to the shop owner via whatsapp and you are done.

This is not just "send money to friends" type of deal, the shop owners could make QR on their whatsapp and accept payments so much more easily, its literally a genius move.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying your btc plastic card on: March 27, 2019, 03:27:48 PM
I have purchased one from coinsbank once, and I really liked it and it required a bit of KYC and all that but I was fine with it considering they were giving me a debit card for using on bitcoin which is freaking awesome.

Nonetheless, I have realized that they were using a third party bank which doesn't fly with me. These dudes literally take your information and open a bank account under your name and give you debit card that way, they are just middleman between you and the bank, the only difference is you do not deal with the bank when it comes to spending and you deal with coinsbank and than coinsbank deals with the bank, however I am not really fine with giving coinsbank that much power over my bank account somewhere I don't even know. So, I got it closed and removed my account from there.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Paid CryptoCurrency groups. on: March 26, 2019, 04:23:45 AM
I would suggest you not to join those telegram or discord groups. Don't even think about joining the paid ones. Most of them are just scam groups. Its always the team leader who makes the profit in such groups by using your guys. Just don't join them.
This is what my conclusion exactly after participating almost 20 different groups in telegrams and discords. The bitter truth is, no one could be a versatile analyst against market volatility. Some people were accurate when market trend was up but definitely not in down markets nor in sideways markets too. We cannot expect consistent good performances from those groups. Like most common trader, they are also predicting directions with mixed results.

Yes. Buying and selling may take only one second of time but when to do that, is the all vital part of trading and when a trader is not ready to do that vital thing, I guess they must stay away from trading because trading by depending on others research may not work well all the times.

I do not believe in these groups, but I did a little research and these were the results
It would be a good practice to suggest to this community what we have checked and verified by our own experiences as google and other searching engines are available for everyone and we do not need to search for them Roll Eyes.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US dollar backed by oil? What do you think? on: March 25, 2019, 06:58:53 PM
Oil is a big currency in this economic warfare period we are in. Of course, there are still wars going on all around the world with regular guns and what not but the biggest weapon in countries hands are the economical advantage over some resources, if USA doesn't have access to enough Oil their dollar will lose a lot of value. How can they get more oil ?

Military action and when they do that they need a lot of power behind them to go all the way to the other side of the world and take peoples oil from them and than bring it back to country, you can't do that with a small military you need worlds biggest for that. In order to keep making your military biggest of all military you need to keep spending money on it and in order to keep spending on it you need more money from oil to balance it out, so its an endless circle for them.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: On whales and their impact on: March 25, 2019, 04:17:47 PM
Whales are the only type of investor that always have a ton of anything at their hand given any time.

I do not believe that they are trying to manipulate it in a bad way or trying to destroy bitcoin or something like many people think but I feel like they are trying to shape it in a way it would make them the most profit. Obviously, they would help it go down if it means more money for them but they do increase the price whenever they can as well, it all depends on which direction they could profit more.

That is the reason, I think people who have a lot of dollars and a lot of bitcoin could basically be running the market right now because honestly the small people even combined do not have the power of a whale that can do just one big move that could change the price drastically.
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breakout Scheduled for August, Says Fundstrat’s Tom Lee on: March 25, 2019, 03:16:17 PM
When it is Tom Lee speaking people tend to not even care what he says, he could say its going down or its going up and we do not give a damn because lets face it its Tom Lee and he is a joke here and it is right that he is a joke because all of his predictions are just funny.

Nonetheless, this time it is a bit true because bitcoin has been low for a long time and we are getting closer and closer to the bitcoin breakout and halving so before that time comes bitcoin prices should start to go up. August seems like a proper time period because at least it would be before the halving happens and if you buy during August than you would be in big profit during next years May.

Well, that is at least how some investors think, I will keep on buying more this summer as well so I am part of the people Tom Lee relies on.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: The prevailing market condition a blessing? on: March 24, 2019, 01:58:39 PM
I think the good part about having "satoshi" is that you can invest however much you want, even when the prices were at 20 thousand dollars if you wanted to buy less you could have bought like 0.01 bitcoin. So, I do not think the entry barrier being high was the problem, the problem was how could we sustain going up forever. Like its great that we reached from 900 dollars to 20 thousand dollars in less than 6 months but what about afterwards? How can you continue going from 900 to 20k to 40k?

Short answer is you can't, that is why we went down. I think the real question is will we have another super skyrocket now which will make it unsustainable again or will we have a slower increase, I will prefer going to 20k again in 2 years than 2 months, that would make it sustainable at least.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Customer Owned Exchange on: March 23, 2019, 06:02:26 PM
It is both risky and rewarding at the same time. I mean if the exchange customer owned than who is working on the exchange ?

There needs to be sort of a general manager that runs the company and developers and security specialists and designers and stuff like that even pay for support. This means there is a company to be run to be precise. Now if you give the all power to the customers for everything than you are removing that company, who will be the running the exchange? Who will pay for the support people? Who will pay for the technical people ?

Hence, you can build an exchange that is half customer owned but not fully customer owned. There has been a lot of tries for half customer owned, just an example from the biggest exchange in the world Binance gives you a lot of shares for your affiliates moves for example, it used to be as high as 50%, now I think its 20%. There are others with similar mindset.

Please share your resources for learning to trade bitcoin on a daily basis: news feed, technical analysis, price action... Thx!
I never encourage anyone (regardless of they are newbie or legendary here) to go day trading bitcoin. You may get trapped in a minute of fluctuations. Market is cruel than you could imagine about it. Take for example what happened yesterday, bitcoin was seeming strong around $4050 levels but in less than 2 hours it came down to $3920 levels and still trading there.

Are you sure that you will be able to withstand such high volatility ? If yes, please read further else think about hodling and long term trading to accumulate risk-free profits.

180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding The Different Types Of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: March 22, 2019, 07:10:04 AM
Decentralized Exchange: This variety of exchanges stay true to Nakamoto’s ideology for cryptocurrencies. Hence, decentralized exchanges focus on protecting the anonymity of users and improving the security of the platform.
No. Mr.Satoshi's ideology must be NOT depending on any services but with your friends and colleagues. It means decentralized way of exchange will not fulfill what Satoshi was dreaming but exchanging within ourselves in P2P way must be a true way of following as per Satoshi's ideology.

Moreover, even in decentralized environment at the time of "actual exchange" we need to move up all of funds to the centralized authority and need to depend on them to complete the transaction. Even here, exchange operation is happening very similar to escrow, I am not ready to accept is works in complete decentralized manner. Probably all decentralized exchanges are the true hybrid exchange as it ensures only half of decentralization.

The OP is just promoting his services
This is the reason his explanation on various types of exchange are not enlightening us into anything new. I believe this is not a right way of having discussion here and probably it is an example of misusing "freedom of speech" which is a big moto of this forum.
