161  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 12, 2015, 07:40:35 PM
Definitely.

I just meant that I don't expect Seals to lose traffic over it because the current players are mostly from US and will probably still play at Seals.

Better yet, there might be more players at Seals if more poker players educate about bitcoin because of Stars accepting it Smiley
Well depends. Would not be a big hit, but seals might take a hit. I for one prefer playing the tournaments up at stars than on Seals. People who do as well, might head to Stars for the tournies.
Even for playing HU, there aren't a lot of different people you can find on Seals, as most of the times its just the regs and some of the good players there. People who play those tables, would prefer the games over at stars.

But yes, as the majority of the players are from the US, then Stars accepting bitcoins won't really affect much.

Thank you for the quick replies Smiley
I want to play on live table right now and want to deposit today Smiley
I want only live poker tables
Thanks!

There is some action at nitrogen right now at the 100 NL table. Since seals is down right now, that might be a good option for now.

+ Even if Stars accepts BTC, they wouldn't accept US players which is really most of Seals' current traffic.
In a lot of other countries, people find it hard to get their money on Stars due to the grey area of gambling laws and banks not allowing direct deposits. They usually have to rely on buying stars dollars through friends or other poker players in their country.
I think a lot of those people find it easier to purchase bitcoins(atleast for me) , than Pokerstars $'s , and that might increase the number of those there.

Hello All Smiley
Could you please share which is the best poker site where they accept BTC  and you have best experience?
Please give me some real stories and not only spam!
Thanks!

There are 3 main sites for bitcoin poker. Sealswithclubs , Betcoin , NitrogenSports .

Seals and Betcoin are fairly old and have a good amount of traffic. Nitrogen is new, but a reputed sports book since a while, and the poker player base is increasing there.
Would be best to try out all sites personally and decide for your self. Betcoin is pretty good for MTT's and less for cash game action, which is abundant on Seals. Nitrogen has some good tournaments throughout the day  including hourlies and freerolls. It also has decent cash game action at 100-500NL. You do find decent action on it , but only at certain hours.

Seals, is always a good one for cash game action, and you can find people on most of the stakes throughout the day. It also has some good weekend tournaments.

Great list -- I'd however strongly reconsider the trust rating associated with PRC. Dean censors reasonable discussion

Just read this ^. You might want to be careful keeping that 10 BTC on there. Obviously, if you have good profits you won't mind losing them, but must feel bad if something like this happens.

I apologize to the thread creator for us having this discussion here. I wish there was something on the forum, that would not allow a questionable gambling casino to run a moderated thread.

By the way, you guys shouldn't wait for his reply. Because there ain't gonna be one. He is sitting there saying " that all of these guys are trolls, They are wrong, because we can clearly see people trust me and we have a big investment, Which just proves the PRiCks win again"

By the way, did you guys know Melds and Dean are the same guys ?

Great list -- I'd however strongly reconsider the trust rating associated with PRC. Dean censors reasonable discussion to his detriment,  caught flat out lying as well as making intentionally misleading claims, repeatedly asking for +rep, won't fix his mistakes,  needs to be  forced into paying what he promises -- fails at basic stats, running a lottery with up to a 98% house edge

I say this as someone who until very recently had been invested in PRC and gave him +rep for helping me account recover 10 BTC. Then he goes deleting my reasonable post  within 40 seconds  (advising someone to diversifys well as not put all their money in one place, and then goes on to mutes me on site before I say a single word). The guy runs an extremely tightly moderated thread, and pre-emptively mutes people.

He is the very definition of an untrustworthy person. Oh yeah, that's right. He has -rep on bitcointalk too.

Interesting. I will request a response from Dean, as he can't run away from answering this. Well, he can, but he shouldn't...

Damn it espringe. Looks like our game just got busted :/
Dean figured out you me and BAC are the same person.
Lets just hope he doesn't find about dooglus being us too

Dean, while you are here. Did you send that bounty yet ?
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Dice House Bank Investment Comparison Table: Now with 25% Scam Rate! on: February 12, 2015, 02:20:59 PM
You should know that BitDice risks 1% of the bankroll, PRC or JD risks 0.5%.

Actually since Dec 31st we allow up to 10% risk for any investor and JD now offers any risk level up to 99% as far as I'm aware.

Quote
The bitcoin dice investment industry: 37% scam rate & -24% ROI in 5 months"

The thread title and the stats posted are misleading and not representative of dice investment in general.

Some of the scam sites (on this list or not) were obvious or suspicious from the start and I and others tried to warn people of them.

But unfortunately people, including yourself, got scammed. It hurts the whole Bitcoin community, not just the gambling section of the forum and also makes it harder for all the legit Bitcoin operators.

The (total) ROI you posted isn't an accurate reflection of investing in the, very few, honest dice sites either.

Some of the investors at https://pocketrocketscasino.eu/ have over 100% ROI in the past 6 months and on average it is positive for all investors with a much better ROI than investing elsewhere. Even your own stats show 40% ROI which is a very good return.

Maybe you should keep the scam sites listed but show 2 figures for your ROI. One for your ROI from all the sites still in operation and one for the total like you have now?

Are you serious ? I have seen you post about every other site being a scam site in chat. A just because 1 or 2 of them were, you are saying you saw them coming ?
Maybe you should look at your trust rating. A Scammer fits the profile you currently have.
And where is that bounty I was promised ?
169  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.holydice.com/ on: February 11, 2015, 02:18:46 PM
For some reason I get the feeling that the owner of this site is the same as the owner of this site

Definitely be careful while you play .
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 10, 2015, 05:16:17 AM
boring shit, miss the drama Grin

But over 10 BTC, then a fluctuation of even 2-3$ will be a good drama.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 09, 2015, 09:07:53 PM
If all goes right, you won't even need 100 BTC to be a millionaire! If everything goes well, you  may just need a single coin to retire and live off your money. That being said, no one knows where we're going from here, really. I think mainstream-adoption is still far away and we may fail to reach it ever.

We would have the trolls become millionaires too. Too many millioniares maynot be good for the economy.

I would've thought most trolls are either failed early adopters, paid shills, or flat out internet psychos/ aggravators with very little to their name.

Well, I doubt most of them just leave bitcoin completely. After all its a great technology, and the trolls  just don't hold large amounts to be affected by the price.

Pathetic attempt from the bears... surprise surprise

I doubt it can be fixed, unless you can provide some proof.

The security issue would be the most important issue in developing a site.
179  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: buy bitcoin with sms on: February 09, 2015, 08:46:17 PM
hey there all the developers....today moring a got a nice idea about what if we can buy bitcoins with sms...I mean with phone balance.....just think about it....it can make the bitcoin economy soooo stable if we can buy or sell bitcoins with sms..

obviously a lot of scope for this. But the price would be high, and they would need a net connection to receive and check their balances.
180  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin card game on: February 09, 2015, 08:44:59 PM
How do you plan to protect your game from robots and known card algorithms?

This can always been taken care of , if you chose card games which are not completely skill dependent. Adding luck is essential for profits for the site.
