A mon humble avis les prix vont monter durant l'IPO. En ce moment un asset cryptofund coûte 9.5NXT et à une valeur de swap de 12NXT ( swap garanti à 0.00002BTC/NXT ou meilleur taux). Ex : Je possède 1000 cryptofund, je décide de les swap pour des waves, 1000*12*0.00002 = 0.24BTC investi dans l'IPO Si on compare au cout actuel de 1000 cryptofund: 1000*9.5*0.0000195=0.18525 BTC En payant 0.18525 BTC tu investit 0.24... soit 30% de plus ! J'espère que c'est plus clair  |

They have Bitcoin and Voxel (uphold created). If they wanted more profit, they would add ETH and other currencies in due time. Unknown if that's in their plans, so if WAVES can get the not even born atomic trade functionality working, might be a selling point. But right now it's just in the idea stage. How's WAVES going to get this ready , even as a test by summer, if it's dependent on another groups' work?

Can you crowfund your project in a decentralized way using uphold and then trade the asset on a blockchain ? If no then uphold and waves have a very different design. Like everyon previoulsy, I find this project interesting, and I'll sure keep a look at it ! But tell me, is it me or it is a lot Lisk-like ? 100 000 000 millions of coins, bounties proportions a bit equal, etc. ? Maybe this is a "fake" feeling because of Lisk presence this last times, but that's what catched my eye at the second I saw the thread ! It's exactly Lisk-like, which is obviously a red flag. And I expect to see more coins use a similar ICO-style. It'll probably be the 'flavor of the month (or months)'... something succeeds, and we get a million similar coins. Like when we had country coins, anonymous coins, and so on. In this case, it's the simple fact that Lisk brought in an insane amount of money from their ICO. So other devs said, why not us? You would have thought they'd change the ICO terms at least somewhat, however. It's too copy-cat. It doesn't mean the devs here won't deliver, or it may be an interesting project. But it is a red flag. Worst case I expect a lot of interest, the traditional initial ICO price rise ... then... well, who knows. And lisk used the same model as Augur... as it goes on and on new projects copy successful ICO model and I can understand that. |

I'll take a wild guess and say : I don't think so. From my understanding you can withdraw your ICO tokens from the ICO website to the NXT AE, or redeem them from the website. Waves is not directly tied to the BTC blockchain. Note that this is not an official answer, just my thoughts. |

2 solutions pour l'ICO :
- Investir du BTC ( sur un site mis en ligne durant avril, similaire à LISK ou Augur )
- Swap certains assets NXT
Si tu veux utiliser d'autre currencies je te recommande de passer par shapeshift afin d'obtenir du BTC.
Il n'est pas prévu d'accepter d'autre currencies pour l'instant.

Hey guys, I just found this. I've skimmed the OP and the official FAQs page, but I'm still a little confused about the ICO.
Will the ICO be in BTC and ICO "tokens" will be distributed through the Nxt AE, or will the ICO be in Nxt where participants purchase WAVES assets?
I ask because I'd like to get in on this (still determining my position, though) and at the moment I mostly have Nxt liquidity.
I'd prefer to get in on the early bird round(s) but I'd also prefer to NOT have to cash out Nxt for BTC, to only have to receive another Nxt asset.
Could someone comment on this? Thanks guys!
*bump* I would like some clarification please, so that I can have funds ready for April 12th. Thank you. My understanding is that IPO is in BTC, you can then retrieve the WAVES ICO tokens on the NXT AE in order to trade them before launch. There is also an option to redeem certain NXT assets for Waves. |
