Sorry if this has been asked recently (I've not seen it in the past few pages.)  Is there a white paper yet?  Not in the OP.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

Q: Will there be a whitepaper?
A: Yes, there’ll be several the first one will be published this month, more general. Then there’ll be three technical published later this year, concerning TX level, POS implementation and reputation system.

Thanks for pointing to the FAQ.  To many communication channels. Tongue

+1, good question.  But in case you're worried about having to download a massive blockchain, you can setup a wallet at blockchain.info and send your funds to your wallet, from your exchange account.

I'm not fond of web wallets for long term use (I'm honestly surprised BlockChain.Info hasn't already been hacked) but they offer all of the features that you need and if you only use them as pass-through service, this shouldn't be much of a security issue.

Just be sure to save all of your passcodes for the account and/or export your account keys.

I'll take a wild guess and say : I don't think so.

From my understanding you can withdraw your ICO tokens from the ICO website to the NXT AE, or redeem them from the website. Waves is not directly tied to the BTC blockchain.

Note that this is not an official answer, just my thoughts.

I signed up for the newsletter and liked Waves on Facebook. I assume that I will be contacted via email and facebook for the bounties distribution. Is that correct?

Yes!

Thanks!

Blockchain.info was already hacked before.

I am sure it will be. Look at the number of members involved in the signature campaign here.
That itself is a good sign.

At least it looks like Waves won't have the same initial distribution problem

Yes, you'll be able to buy using any Bitcoin wallet. We'll do a usual Bitcoin merchant interface, with an individual generated address to send to.

I'm wandering how can you combine KYC/AML with privacy features.
Any special plan for that?
