161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: August 01, 2020, 04:18:42 AM
I wouldnt say its the best time but its definitely one of those times where we take advantage of the situation to grow businesses that would fit the public. Sadly on the other hand, scammers see this as a massive oppurtunity to take advantage of people as well. Better to be cautious in whatever where doing i say, wether it be creating your own business or in investing on some new projects.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 01, 2020, 01:16:10 AM
I wouldnt really count on crypto ratings. Most of them are too unreliable. There are some crypto ratings that are sponsored by some projects therefore giving them less of a reliability factor since ofcourse they have to give a positive review. Its safer to do your own research and not rely on these things too much.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 31, 2020, 02:26:44 PM
I think most people approach crypto in the wrong way. With "get rich quick" approach.

If you come to crypto with such an attitude, you should never ever invest.

On the other hand, if you actually had to earn it while doing whatever you are usually doing anyway, that involves money?

Examples:
You get crypto as a token of gratitude after making donation to some project. (crowdfunding)
or
You are paid crypto as a bonus to your salary.
or
... (any other examples come to your mind?)

Wouldn't the whole cryptoworld be way more healthy? What do you think about it?

I actually agree with the part that you shouldnt get into crypto if youre impatient and are looking for an easy cash because it wouldnt really be like that.

But saying that you should completely blow the idea of investing and just get into it if you were getting it as a bonus, i wouldnt agree with it much. Tho its nice to recieve it as a token, its also great to invest on it as long as its your extra money, you wouldnt mind the long wait and if youve taken the ample amount of research about the currency before investing.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Projects on: July 31, 2020, 09:16:42 AM
A lot of people are predicting that the DeFi space will be the catalyst of the next bull run, projects like Maker and Compound have been hugely successful recently and many DeFi projects have performed brilliantly in the bear market.

Name the projects you're excited about in the DeFi space and why you think they will be big..

I'll start with an ICO I've recently invested in called Bidao. BiDao is a new blockchain system that creates a trustless stablecoin and a new decentralized financial tool that allows leveraged trading in a trustless setup. In the beginning, BiDao will be completely integrated with the Binance Blockchain and BNB will be used as the collateral. In the future other Blockchains will also be integrated into the BiDao ecosystem.

They are founded by Bastian Aigner who is young guy with a solid tech background and strong education. He reminds me a bit of Vitalik, some people are so smart it's like they are operating on a different level to everyone else and he is like that.

You should be extra careful, as you said DeFi is hyping the public, thats enough to trigger scammers to using this to their advantage in reeling in their investors. Whered you get information of this new project?
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 31, 2020, 04:11:25 AM
I know this project ,they did initial exchange Offering some time ago, I think 2019 in probit exchange, the rate was around $1 but after then I lost knowledge about it, I think the best you should do is to carry out more research before you invest in it. And remember to invest what you can afford to loose.

Do you have any links where i can read about this project to know more about it? Do they have a telegram group, im new to this and was looking forward to atleast somewhere. Thanks.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain How this works? on: July 30, 2020, 11:59:14 PM
I recently read about PayAccept having some kind of staking system active from 1st August - https://www.payaccept.net/pay-stake

I read about it a lot from Telegram groups where people join and share about this but I am not able to understand how does it work? I tried from that above link but did not understood. Anyone using it? Please tell me how does this work?

I think its better for you to ask the admin of that telegram group. Im not familiar with that system, just ask the admin im sure they'd be happy to answer you.

It would be nice if DeFi would really push through and not just stick with the hype. Im working for a DeFi project right now and would also love to see where this thing takes us. Im looking forward to it.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up on: July 30, 2020, 08:43:14 AM
Scams are everywhere ever since, its not suppose to be new or surprising anymore. Tho i think most of the people who're around long enough can identify the scam a mile away.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: July 30, 2020, 04:51:38 AM
Are you suggesting that countries will treat crypto currencies the same way as their national currencies? I dont get this, isnt the point of crypto currencies is to remain undetected and untraceable?
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: July 29, 2020, 01:05:24 PM
Someone got me into it. I thought it wouldnt be so bad since ill just be taking on projects and theyd pay me coins. Thought i wouldnt really be taking out real money but the return that atleast ill have these coins and it was just on my spare time. Tho im still trying to learn my way around it.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: July 29, 2020, 06:56:32 AM
This is kinda refreshing to read. Some projects from two years ago still have next to nothing value coins, but some still rise their values even two years late.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pump DeFi projects are on fire! on: July 29, 2020, 04:30:31 AM
I get this. A new crypto currency surfaces and creates headlines but it still wouldnt hurt to conduct your own sufficient research before jumping on to a project by DeFi. Tho youre not paying for coins, time is still valuable.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: July 28, 2020, 11:56:11 PM
The fears are pretty standard for me since i just started here. New crypto-currencies are harder to verify since they just started, i tend to stick to currencies known to my friends first to be safe.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is going up day by day.. on: July 28, 2020, 01:05:42 PM
I have noticed many of the alts but ETH is truly a strong competitor in crypto market, over the past few days ETH is showing some great signs which means the price is pumping.

The price have also break new yearly high, eth is absolute gem for Investment. I am sure it is all set to break $300k barrier some interesting story is about to come in this crypto market, let's wait and watch...

I'm actually looking forward on this one. I switched to eth from bitcoin since i wont be able to feel the rising of the bitcoin due to the lack of invested funds. It just feels great that what little money invested feels like its growing since eth is cheaper than the bitcoin.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: July 28, 2020, 11:52:08 AM
I'm kinda new on the trading community but ive stumbled upon a scene just about last week. There was a rapid rise on this token i was monitoring for about two years. It went up steeply for about 4 hours and then came crashing almost instantly. That same token was of almost no value for two years then it came rushing up. Im just saying that i think its the best time to invest if you can let it slide if you think youve lost something big. Nothing's sure when it comes to these tokens.

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It can still happen again on: November 20, 2018, 04:30:54 PM
I was just thinking and imagining the bull run that happen toward the end of last year when the crypto market became a cake of enjoyment for everyone. The story is on the contrary now. I am wondering and disturbed that can it ever happen again? My wallet coins are reducing in value daily. I am not completely sure if it can happen again.... somehow I still have little believe it may. Do you think it will happen again?

Anything could happen, but a bull run like last year is far from happening let alone we have 1 month left to end this year. Would be better if we collect at the moment and bull run could prosper next year. Let's be hopeful and positive during this current market trend.
