Now, I guess the ANN will be edited silently, because there's no way to move all likers to FB group automatically, right? If you look through thread you will notice it was about liking. We don`t need to move or edit anything. I don't need to follow anything. Imagine there's a newcomer who is in need for basic information about WAVES - will you advice to follow 400 pages thread to get information? I've said few times already that the discussion in this thread doesn't matter, as it may change bias and is subjective. That's why we have ANN in which there's clear statement "200000 tokens reserved for joining official WAVES Facebook group" - and this is what I'm refering to. If anyone in this thread said that it's just to like FB profile, then it was basically not following basic facts. Now, I don't believe you're going to admit you're not right, and moreover, WAVES team will probably not follow its own statement about the FB bounties - that's why it's so sad. Bounties are not hidden and are fair for everyone, clicking like is the the same simple as clicking follow on twitter with 2586 followers as of now and like subscribing to newsletter is. I don`t know what you were counting on that all facebook bounty pool will be just divided through 100 people ? The point is that the instructions for FB are wrong. Joining a group is not the same thing as Liking a page. 1. Your instructions say join Facebook group 2. Your update says "liked official waves Facebook" These two are not one in the same. So just 'correct' it. That correct it OR you should consider everyone that joined the group AND/OR liked the page. |

ICO is progressing well. I think you have the funds now, and more to come, to announce adding a well known SENIOR Dev. Someone that the crypto community respects. This will add authenticity and credibility to the project and will help people on the fences to invest because they don't trust Rise team yet.

I have set up my own account with 2FA using Google Authenticator on my mobile phone and it works for me. Ok, the QR works. I was putting it on my desktop OTP and I was using the key that was displayed that DOES NOT work. You're displaying the wrong key. So no one can enter manually. So to get the key I copied the QR image and then had it decoded on a website to obtain my actual key. So now my desktop OTP was able to be set up as well. Summary: 1. QR scan works 2. The key displayed above QR DOES NOT work for manual entry. |

Does the 2FA work for anyone, the QR I generated all the apps including Google Authenticator say its invalid so it doesn't get added. Now I can't login either because it requires a token. Technically it shouldn't have enabled 2FA without asking for a test token to begin during configuration but unfortunately its enabled, so I'd recommend you change your configuration design. Why don't you obtain a reseller license and partner with the GPU distributers and then buy GPUs in bulk given that you have the capital to do so. This would save you a ton of money because of wholesale pricing instead of buying on Newegg.
I can provide you names of the distributors, although they're available on AMD and Nvidia's website as well.

Can you give some clarifications on the calculation of the dividend. I find it very confusing and does not seem correct. Example for the per quarter distribution, based on a profit of $25000 : 3) A Shareholder who holds 50 000 MNM in his supplied address for 12 weeks
with quarter dividend of 25 000$.
He would receive: (12/12) * (50 000 / Coin Supply) * 25 000 = 125$
Based on that, it means every coin held by the investors + dev team will have a share in the 10 million supply. But only those with 10K+ MNM will get their share paid. What happens to those calculated in the dividend shares but with less than 10K MNM? Investor A has 50000 MNM = so he gets a share of 125$ Investor B has 10000 MNM = he gets a share of $25 Investor C has 9999 MNM = but will not get his share since less than 10K MNM. Where will this $24.99 go?Very good observation. Its a better version of Lisk due to languages support. The other features are 'fine'. Sometimes you don't have to be 'innovative', you just have to do something better. Lisk is a dev platform. But it supports only NodeJs. A Dev Platform that allows for more languages increases their dev market, which means more dev to develop a Dapp. One reason iPhone sell a lot is because of the shear number of apps. So the platform that can open up to the most dev and gain the more apps, wins. Thats just the nature of platforms. Personally if you want to make this project a success and big then focus on development. That Project Acre shouldn't even be under discussion. RISE has a potential of being THE Dapp platform if you really focus on that. Way better than LISK on paper as of now.
To make it a reality development should be the big thing. Forget Acre thats actually is a smalltime project building and selling real estate. If you get 10,000 BTC then maybe it makes sense to do that
600 BTC (if you get that much) means roughly $260,000. For a year that would be $22K per month, which only can support maybe 2-3 good developers. That is NOT enough.
If you get 1250 BTC, 100% of it should be used to get MORE experienced Devs. Right now I think Justin you are the only experienced dev, you need to get high experienced dev to get the ball rolling quicker.
The shorter your time-to-market the more valuable this project will be. Secondly adding Highly Experienced dev is going to add credibility to the project, right now it seems most of your dev are your friends from Carbonite.
So if you guys are serious about making this project big, then I'd recommend shelving Acre as a separate token sale or only do it if you get like 10K BTC. The value you can create for RISE itself will be huge if you FOCUS your resources and GET HIGHLY EXPERIENCED devs, maybe even from India/Russia if they have experience, not some junior dev to manage funds better.
I see potential here, but you need to manage this potential otherwise you'll screw up this project. Acre is peanuts and shouldn't be even under consideration at 1250 BTC. Acre sounds more like a kids plan because everyone likes Real Estate and dream of that business. But what you have in RISE is BIG, so don't screw it over by focusing on 2 complete unrelated projects. Technology has HUGE potential vs real estate. So I would highly urge to create value by adding EXPERIENCED well-known dev to the team and use the extra funds to support that.

Good question. But I think Sia's aim are more business oriented and they're not concerned about siacoin valuation. The business would automatically establish value for the company, especially if large deals come out in the news. So this to me is a proper investment. But marketing to businesses is definitely important so I'm also curious if there is a budget for that. |

People shouldn't go overboard on the criticism, Lisk is going to make you money. Its way above ICO price. So while yes they screwed up the Launch you're still in for a good profit.

I think your platform success depends on the number of developers who you can pull to develop. So the various language support is definitely a huge plus over Lisk. But like with all things you could lose a huge market share for coming after Lisk, so the goal should be to release the developer centric aspects of the project.
Can we move the mobile UI to later stage and bring in the Dapp builder and then Smart Contracts earlier.
Also you have listed 5 languages, do you guys have the expertise in all five languages?
