But if the goal of 600 BTC is NOT reached,
then you also will give the ico investors the full 88 Million of 100 Million coins?

Or will you cut the total amount of ico coins?

The full amount of allotted coins for the ICO (88 Million) will be released to investors, this amount will not be cut, no matter what the total BTC amount will end up being at the completion of the ICO.

What is the ICO goal? So far, a nice amount has been generated in the ICO. I hope new people join in the campaigan.

Hi @bglshimo, the goal is to reach a minimum of 1250 BTC so that our devs can keep developing RISE full-time and we can launch the ACRE project as well.

If this goal is not reached then we will put the ACRE project on hold until a later time and then a minimum of 600 BTC would be sufficient to keep our devs working on RISE full-time for at least a year.

Anything less would mean the development will still continue but at a slower rate because our devs would need to work part-time on it and spend some time on other work that provide the needed income for them.

Thank you for your interest and support!

How much BTC have been raised so far?

I was just looking at that. 275 btc

https://blockchain.info/address/3466r4y8FuVUE6FHuCShshQkCYZY3xaqdG

It just jumped 10 btc instantly. Either someone put in 10 btc or a bunch of smaller investments came at once.

What do you think about a small free airdrop like 0.5% of all coins = 500k coins? Maybe 1 week after the launch of Rise?

This would also attract a lot of people who have very less bitcoins.
maybe you can get in this way easy a few hundert supporter more?

Or bad idea and to much work? ^^

I kinda like your idea - it would definitely help to attract a lot more users,
but it's perhaps relatively hard to carry out. would have to have a good plan how to do this to counteract abuse etc., maybe an airdrop to bitcointalk user accounts where everyone can go and claim a little share if interested? not sure, would require a good thought out plan.

Yes, this is the ico adress.

But the ico has 4 weeks more to go.

So imo the total amount will be about 800 btc.

We usually have slightly more funds than the escrow address shows at all times.

Right now for example our total is 276.4 btc, whilst the escrow address is showing 275 btc.

This is because of a slight delay whilst Coinbase processes the transactions.

Exactly this.

When everything is smooth working, then this coin will get attention by everybody
by the twitter campagin
by the signature campagin
by the successful launch
+ after 1 week everyone would be waiting for the airdrop.

Personally if you want to make this project a success and big then focus on development. That Project Acre shouldn't even be under discussion. RISE has a potential of being THE Dapp platform if you really focus on that. Way better than LISK on paper as of now.

To make it a reality development should be the big thing. Forget Acre thats actually is a smalltime project building and selling real estate. If you get 10,000 BTC then maybe it makes sense to do that

600 BTC (if you get that much) means roughly $260,000. For a year that would be $22K per month, which only can support maybe 2-3 good developers. That is NOT enough.

If you get 1250 BTC, 100% of it should be used to get MORE experienced Devs. Right now I think Justin you are the only experienced dev, you need to get high experienced dev to get the ball rolling quicker.

The shorter your time-to-market the more valuable this project will be. Secondly adding Highly Experienced dev is going to add credibility to the project, right now it seems most of your dev are your friends from Carbonite.

So if you guys are serious about making this project big, then I'd recommend shelving Acre as a separate token sale or only do it if you get like 10K BTC. The value you can create for RISE itself will be huge if you FOCUS your resources and GET HIGHLY EXPERIENCED devs, maybe even from India/Russia if they have experience, not some junior dev to manage funds better.

I see potential here, but you need to manage this potential otherwise you'll screw up this project. Acre is peanuts and shouldn't be even under consideration at 1250 BTC. Acre sounds more like a kids plan because everyone likes Real Estate and dream of that business. But what you have in RISE is BIG, so don't screw it over by focusing on 2 complete unrelated projects. Technology has HUGE potential vs real estate. So I would highly urge to create value by adding EXPERIENCED well-known dev to the team and use the extra funds to support that.

I don't see any innovation in this coin, it is just a copy of Lisk...

Its a better version of Lisk due to languages support. The other features are 'fine'. Sometimes you don't have to be 'innovative', you just have to do something better.

Lisk is a dev platform. But it supports only NodeJs. A Dev Platform that allows for more languages increases their dev market, which means more dev to develop a Dapp. One reason iPhone sell a lot is because of the shear number of apps. So the platform that can open up to the most dev and gain the more apps, wins. Thats just the nature of platforms. So the key is language support, not 'innovation'.
