more than 15 % fee is too much..even it have the high risk but how about us who are real buyer..that not a good reason for us also to suffer.. i will only agree with up to 15% fee with accurate calculation..
I would agree with you on the fees they charge are outrageus! They charged me $3.6o on a $39 sent as a gift. Reason being buyer was in Slavic country. I don't usually get charged to send within my own country, so this was a shock. I now ask for the paypal fees upfront from the seller that I know i am going to get charged.

Was that trade successful? If not will do for you at $55 (more than going rate) and will take care of the fees paypal incurs (10%), they will be around $4-5 from other transaction I did with someone last week.

Everybody talks about Greece, and there are plenty other topics on this board, but only a few millions people are concerned. So let's not talk about Greece.
I want to raise the bigger issue here, which is the European single currency. Several hundreds millions of people are using it every day, and it's very, very likely that the European currency will go down against the US dollar, the Swiss Franc and BTC. Do you share my concern?
This is probably the same reason England did not want to adopt it in the first place. Their currency is more powerful and they didn't want to be in the same group as the EU, because if one goes down they all suffer unless one fronts the cash to bail them out.

Do you guys have any deposit bonuses or any promotions ?
They have match your first deposit promotion. So you put in 0.25btc you get 0.25btc in the bonus bank. But you have to earn loyality points that acummulate from every bet and wager made. It extracts 0.01btc per 800 loyality points. I figure I had to use up 5 credits with equals out to $0.25 to get one point.

This is just a step of the evolution of the bittalk forum. It has a massed so many members this is helpful to all. But replacing this forum with epochtalk? That I don't agree with. Would it be a migration without any effects to members accounts. That would be a step in the right direction

I would like to sell a very tiny amount if you can pay at 1:1 rate through IMPS bank transfer . You should have written about your country aspects when you talk about IMPS or NEFT . Please mention all the details and whether you are willing to go first or you would like to use escrow .
I can make a transfer but I need to know the comission ill have to pay for it. What 1:1 means? I dont get nothing? 1:1 means one for one. That is the same amount you sent it is the same amount you get. So in other words, yes you don't get anything extra, that is what the 5% is for you to get something as commision.

Yes, what ever happened to putting your money under your mattress. That is safer than the banks it seems. The chinese do it because they don't trust no one, or they are hiding it from the IRS.

paypal is not country-friendly. People in India complain about not being able to receive payments. And now it is outright banning nations? Hopefully paypal will implode soon There are so many other options available and since they did a 180 on bitcoin I don't see myself using their high fee based payment system in the near future.

Would you do for $90? PM me am within US.

China can take care of their own bitcoins. I doubt it influences their stock market. It was like this for other countries too at this time. Everybody had a loss this past week.

I agree that exchanging is the biggest problem and bottleneck currently. I am not sure if it has to do with the price, I think that is another issue.
The main problem is the difficulty of exchange, from my personal experience at least. If you do it online you have to go through verification because of your bank and fraud. So then again, it all comes down to the banks plus the fees they impose on transactions. Also, as a recent topic here in bitointalk claimed if you withdraw to your account over 1000€ you will get flagged. And there are many more issues, all coming down to exchange, trust, verification and banking.
A true bitcoin currency won't exist until I can simply exchange my fiat to BTC whenever I want, without having to wait 5 days of bank working days, provide 2 pieces of proof of residence, my ID etc. Simplicity is needed.
The problem is not on the banks, it is the government officials who set up this anti-money laundering/terrorist financing, know your customer law and applied it to financial institutions like exchanges and banks (banks are essentially an exchange) Regulators put a heavy fine on those institutions who does not follow this law. If anyone can trade bitcoin like buying grocery, there will be many criminals use bitcoin to launder money (money comes from hacked bank account, cheated victim, smuggling, drug dealing...), and once money enter bitcoin, it is not traceable anymore(at least beyond the current ability of law enforcement due to no regulatory framework at all on blockchain), so it is very difficult to reverse the loss like in fiat money system (In fact the law enforcements are more interested in reversing the loss, capture the criminal is less important since they never cease to exist) So far the best practice is to treat it like cash, and limit each customers daily transaction volume like in an ATM Those are good things you pointed out. I won't look at the banking system the same way again after your words of insight of what they really do with your money.

Build something on top of bitcoin topology. There was an article about somebody wanting to put text strings on the blockchain. That could be useful for government officials who get their email accounts hacked. Sell it to the secret service if you succeed
