Hey everyone, total newbie here. I've only just started (End of May) picking up some BTC/ETH with my (very little I must admit £850 total) spare cash. I'd like to be at least aiming to get at least 1 BTC as a general start to save for the long run, so far I have 0.29 BTC and 1.96 ETH.
After reading lots I figured it would be best to spread it between the 2 but part of me is thinking I should sell the ETH and buy alittle more BTC to bring me upto 0.5 BTC OR should I just hodl both and keep buying more BTC when I get the chance?
For me i would go on both ways holding them both would really give you the chance on earning either one of them or both depending on the coins progress but knowing about bitcoin its value is more better than ETH but speaking with ETH it does have potential on rising up too which can make us profits too.If you dont like on holding both then i would suggest to stick on bitcoin. For now Bitcoins Holding will be more advisable since there are segwit event where people got positive speculation on it and might we can earn huge profits for staking by this event, And also with ETH although theirs little price fall happening for now I think its the best time to buy since we can earn huge profit on it someday. |

Just matter all on some situation mate since every movement on each coin is different and might certain flaws will get you rattled our and triggers you to sell your coins for so early. And much better for this is to watch on every movements where the coins go so that you can do some short trades and secure your profits for a while, long time staking is just for big whales I believe but if you can afford to do that and can wait for big improvements well that is the best thing for you to do right now. |

Set a time stake on ETH,ETC and stratis and surely you can get some profit with it or maybe just do short trades on btc and ETH right now since quitely their price are pretty much good to deal on and its very profitable to spot those movements.

My majority of investment is BTC and the other altcoin are LTC, ETHm Zcash and dash and the other altcoins from top 20
but i am still waiting for a good ICO coin which is a good background and good opportunity to replace other altcoin in top 20 in coinmarketcap rankings..
Im sure about that people who invested on alts are keep looking to coinmarketcap since it can give proper stats on which coin is best to invest with and what is happening on some tops alts around and maybe their best selection for now is Bitcoins and certain choice's will be the ETH,ETC,Waves and strat since I've seen and followed their greatness this time around and yet they are quitely profitable for long time stake. |

Some of good coins that worth investing and trading at the same time are Dash which has been increased recently pretty good. In the past few days is Litecoin which is leading the poloniex chart, then etherum and maybe ETC soon. Im so amazed for the both coins you mentioned since i don't expect them to get pump like that since they quitely on stable state for many months ahead but looks like the unexpected cames and yet to lucky for ltc beholders and dash since they quitely earning good money from this surprising uprise. And will try to lool for another coins maybe i can earn for them in future and I try to look for new altcoin thrends right now. |

I think also before the end of this year 2017 the price for sure will hit 1000 dollars and those people have thousands of ethereum will become instant millionaire person. I hope that price will happen do we can make a lot of profiy. Base on my research ethereum is the next bitcoin because of the big potential in the future but no one can say what is the exact or what happen in this coin in the future but I hope ethereum will live for long time.
Many exchanges are "lagging" the progress of the ethereum rise, I have seen that coinbase has postponed the normal process of the ethereum exchange, same with few other exchanges. The user base of ethereum is keeping increasing a lot recently and I think the price will become much higher than now and probably will be doubled by the end of the year. I think ETH will be worth about $100 year end. It has tremendous problems. It has been a "player" for 3 months. How come you reach for that conclusion for? and how did you estimate for the price would get for eth for this year? Since first of all ETH is the most used network for now and many people are holding their share on ETH community and this current situation is normally happens to a coins since it has flaws of been dump so I believe this current situation is best time for those eth stakers to buy since they can earn more with it if they hold and play on this coin. |

first i tell btc is all of above. i choose eth cause eth price is low from btc. i can buy eth eassly other eth price regularly increase. Its all above of them all since its top 1 on all the times and theirs no altcoin for now can defeat its fame not unless if bitcoins project and adoption will fail but for the fact that its adoption keeps spreading well surely bitcoins will still prevail and be the king of all crypto's around, but I would love to stake with ETH and LTC for now for profit sake since they have good rise and I think I will earn more money from them if I stake for a while. |

What ICO is worth investing in at this time ? What are your picks, and pelase give explanation why, don't just give a name and go.
If someone tells you exactly what you want to hear, than you will participate in ICO and buy tokens? That is not really smart call. Better check yourself all announcements, there are some projects worth of investing. Pretty seems right since mostly people who gives you there coin are the supporter of particular coin thats why its very suitable for us to read the ICO content especially with their whitepaper so that we can see that its worth to invest with them. But we beter more aware since mostly ICO running right now are shitty one's and not intended to be trusted with our money. |

I don't see any ETH mixer running for now but one thing I know here is to used the exchanger site and convert it to other altcoins and then try to convert it back to ETH so that your coins well be cleaned, And wondring on why their are no people buildings some eth mixer yet? does they doesn't think that its profitable if they build it?

It depends on how much bitcoins you initially invest.Earning 1000 btc is a very difficult task nowadays since bitcoin is no more cheap like before.To achieve that target,you have to be a big whale who could invest huge amount in btc.But if you invest a little amount and expect such big figures,then its hardly impossible.
Yes it may depend on the investment of the person who want to get the profit of 1000 BTC but it also depend on the skills of the person if a person have skills and he will get a huge work then he can collect that amount after doing a lot of work. If you start with a decent amount it's possible, trading is the way to get it, I have less than 10 BTC for my day trading and I am hoping I can increase that amount to 100 BTC by the end of this year. As long as we are active in trading, the money that we have will increase in a compounding basis. But surely it will takes us for many years before reaching that since in trading we cannot guarantee to earn passive money not unless of you've got an successfull business here and its generates you more profit and so by that 1000btc is really reachable. |

To unlucky for you to buy at the peak price but if you could wait for its pump im little bit sure that you can earn with it, And the best thing for you to do now is to hodl since its normally happen for a certain coin to get dump since this tokens are been raised depends on its demand. So try to believe on eth since remember this coin is top 2 in cryptoworld and this one will not be easily to be erased on its state and dump harder than that.

Holding for long term looks like a good thing to do with most altcoins, no matter what some people say prices shows much more. Maybe litecoin price can touch 250$ one day, but I needed money now. Like I`m always saying some people can wait, some can`t.
yeah its good to hold altcoins and make a good profit in the long term just like what happen to NEM , lets hope LTC would touch 250$ im sure it will give huge profits to those who still didnt sell their altcoin till now. people who dont have patience always go for ico's to make easy profit Ico's are quite thrend right now thats why you cannot blame people to go with it since its really profitable if they are using their heads to play this kind of coin when it added on exchange since mostly it is prone to dump and pump scheme. And to lucky for those people who have patience and belief on LTC since as of now surely they are earning some good profits already with it. |

I have heard that bitcoin earlier could be miner by the computer CPU's but now its not possible.
I wanted to know is this possible with any other coin.
As people said Yes but your making your computer at risk since it is easily to broke and prone to Overheat, So much better if you build your own rig so that you can feel the profit for yourself rather than putting your computer at risk. And Be More Educated about mining so that you can learn on how to execute and earn from this thing. |

Pretty far that this thing would be happen since their are so many altcoins that can compete Zcash on this kind of falacy and i think for now the best competitor of bitcoins is the Ethereum and might it will surpass its marketcap and became top 1 later on these days or month.

I'm curious if this multi million fund coin will rise up again. HMQ is now currently worth 0.12$ each and the trading volume decrease hard. I want to know what are your thoughts on this coin?  I have been checked it a while ago, it has a good market value so far more than its ico price. It is not dead you are wrong. Coins maybe fluctuates sometimes. What matters most is they need to pump again so that we may say that it not yet dead. And it is worth buying for. Movements of hmq are so annoying although they have some potential but im wondering on how things would go so far on them since I don't see some good developments happening on that coins seems devs doesn't do anything to lift up his coins. |

I didn't notice anyone mentioning stratis right now but could anyone care to look for its state right now its frequesntyl rising and i don't see any point that they will go down for now and this coin got promising future since the volume as of now are pretty much huge and surely stratis will be one of my hodl coin for now.

question about the waves platform. As it is a platform, how important is the Wave itself for it. Can the platform survive without the wave or are they tied to each other. Not like the Ripple Network does not need the ripple to function.
Tied to each other. Waves are needed in order to use the DEX and create new tokens which will make Waves token also going to be valuable too. currently, its value is just $2.60 but sooner the tokens in the platform will be needing waves token to make transactions just like eth. this makes waves important. the question is;do we need another platform? Do we NEED ethereum? ETH is more a corporate token these days, where Waves still has usercase for the plebs. Not saying Waves isnt good for business' also  The big minus for waves is their token creation feature since it allows people to create their tokens for just single click around and i think this kind of thing makes waves untrusted since many people has been caught and been scam by so many waves contract coin around here. |
