...the only responses I got was basically complaints and hurry up .

That might be a reasonable complaint for you if the coin weren't 2 years old.  Undecided

Almost three years old. And while it would be nice to see some updates from the person controlling this thread so that all the links on OP don't 404, everyone complaining is free to start their own thread, fork the repo, make a new website, and try to convince miners and exchanges to come use their updated version.
I'm going to try to fork zcoin to see if I can get it to work with verts algo after my semester is over . Won't be officially part of VTC or anything if it works . Poramin was saying it won't work because block height , I don't know if that's true though .

We just need to wait. Let's wait.

Wait for what? There aren't enough things from the OP that already return a 404 or lapsed SSL cert already?  Huh
Wait for it to RIP
LOL, It took ethereum around 1 year to develop with millions of dollars funding it they called a "presale" if you can't wait a couple months with you funding nothing and not helping then don't let the door hit you on the way out .
Way to alienate this coin's community. You are more like a troll than a dev.

I think it's the other way around . I was being transparent in what's going on the only responses I got was basically complaints and hurry up .

Still worth to mine this coin ?
Yes, easier to mine when the network hashrate is down . The price usually bounces back within a couple weeks .

You are dodging my question time and time again. WHAT IS THE DEVELOPMENT? If there isn't any than just say so....but atleast stop acting and talking like there is.
+1

Like I said . No more sneak peaks, I thought transparency was good , but obviously it's not .Wait for an official announcement sometime after Dec 28th .

Well if we aren't allowed to join the slack, why don't we make our own with blackjack and hookers!!
I have an intense personal hatred for exclusivity, VIP areas and elitism. Vertcoin didn't used to be about all that...ho-hum..I suppose a coin is only as good as it's Captain. The current "dev" admitting that he "does not have the skills to lead" and is hoping that Poramin will help him (after Dec 28th) is extremely disappointing IMO. Promising EVM and then days later saying that it wasn't going to happen, WTF?? Who is this guy etang anyway? He doesn't seem to be helping Vert in any way at ALL.

Nothing was promised , the details are still be worked out. The slack is for team members and devs since we are all from different parts of the world and that's how we talk to each other . What do I do ? Well I contribute when I can and donate to speed things up . You seem just to complain . If all you can do is complain please keep your FUD and opinions to yourself .

I don't know about everyone else, but I would donate if you had a god damn plan. I'm sure as hell not going to throw my money at you to keep sitting there twiddling your thumbs however. You say you donate and help to speed things up, but what things are you speeding up? We the community haven't heard of any Vert development in months, so I just don't understand what you are talking about.  Huh Huh

Again, development takes time . We have jobs , schools , familes etc. We aren't here to beck your call .I'm going to stop posting here , I thought I would keep you guys up to speed , but you people expect everything to happen magically.

What does the "-m " do ?

-m, --diff-multiplier Multiply difficulty by this value (default 1.0)
--diff-factor 0.5 seems to work better for my 1050 ti's . The nicehash auto miner seems to work better than 1.8.3

Try adding" --diff-factor 05". No rejects but hashrate poolside is about 10mh/s less than it is locally

Testing on ccminer-1-8-3-git-tpruvot 32 bits.
Removed "-m 2" and added " --diff-factor 05".
Getting 60-70% of rejects instead of 100% accepts with "-m 2".
Reject reason: Low difficulty share.

What does the "-m " do ?

I've encountered the problem with all later versions of ccminer(tpruvot), which came out after ~April-May, 2016.
When I try to mine using myr-gr algo, I get very good hashrate on the miner side (46 Mh).
All shares are accepted 100%, but they appear way rarer than normal and pool reports hashrate near 10 Mh.
I've tried to change the difficulty using -m parameter with no success.
Also I have tried different pools and seen no difference.
The early revisions of ccminer(tpruvot) work way better, having poolside hashrate close to the miner reported hashrate.
Also I tried the classical ccminer 1.2. It gives the 100% identical hashrates on a pool and in the miner, but has only 40 Mh on my config.
What can be the problem with newer tpruvot ccminer? I've tested the GTX1060 GPU on Win7 x64.

Try adding" --diff-factor 05". No rejects but hashrate poolside is about 10mh/s less than it is locally

If you do not believe in your project, and how other people are to believe ...

I'm a miner ... here I'll give you 10% of my coin ... does that worth something?

Yes. Anything helps

Helps to do what?
Hire someone who can do something?

No one wants to work for free . I'm donating 1 btc worth of vert once we get a plan . I wouldnt urge anyone to donate until we have a plan . I'm still learning here , if I had the skill set to take lead I would , but I don't .

You sound like the bunch that would complain that free ice cream is too cold.

It's shitcointalk, what the fuck do you expect? To be fair, what's wrong with complaining that free shitty ice cream tastes shitty?

It would be delicious free ice cream. And you're welcome to help develop
