thanks, I used to mine sometimes when my cpu would get me ~10ltc/day, but stopped with the rise of gpu miners since I was to lazy to actively search for setup information. Now after 5 minutes of setup im back to an estimated 12 ltc/day.

my opinion as someone who spend ~5 btc on your site during summer sale:
if you can set this bitpay thing up quickly, do it, raise fees, put big banner on site "fees double, mtgox sux" and see what happens. even with higher fees I see still at least two reasons to use your site: 1: its in $, 7$ vs 13€ leaves room for fees. 2: games are not bought from a german account, so I avoid issues like " this low violence version is available in german only"

I agree that you can't make a check impossible to copy, but adding security measures would still increase the trustworthiness of a check and make it useable for larger sums. I understand if you don’t want to invest the money to get custom stickers or something similar, but as I’m skeptical if the niche you seem to be in will be profitable, since I see only two use cases at the moment.
1: people that know and somehow trust each other, but not enough that a handshake is considered enough.
2: strangers that want to exchange goods in person without having to hang around waiting for confirmations. This case has the problem that the check is imho only suitable for smallish sums and is relatively expensive at 0.25 btc. If the problem is the money, get an offer from a custom security sticker maker and crowdsource the costs. You can pay you creditors back with a bundle of checks and 10% rebate off all future offers.

cheque was in the mail today. looks okay, but I probabyl wouldn't accept one for larger sums. the check itself seems still too easy to fake, the sticker can be bought by everyone, and I don't see the "artificial watermark" on the back. The only thing (besides the second sticker) that could be meant by it are some white letters on a grey background.
final verdict: would accept one for up to 20 fiat from a normal looking stranger.

I don't think thats possible for everyone, for example there are peolpe who sell bitcoin with less than 10% markup

I'm just a little disappointed that they sent me the wiring info today, on a friday after the banks closed, so that I get pushed back two days in the orderline without fault of my own since my bank wont process any bank transfers till monday.

just recieved my bank transfer information. On a friday at 8 pm. I wonder how many additonal places in the line the weekend delay is going to cost me.

it's also important to know how much % of their total hashpower is bfl sc upgradeable. some companies say they will upgrade but don't give info if  5% or 100%  of their current hardware is eligible for upgrades.
