161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Say it again? Bitcoin transaction fees expensive? on: June 01, 2019, 02:22:41 PM
Another proof that bitcoin transactions is still very cheap, the transaction below moves $500,000 million with less than $5 fees. This is a Binance external transaction. So for those proponents who says that bitcoin fees is expensive and slow, take a look, as everything is transparent on the blockchain network.

https://twitter.com/whale_alert/status/1134411929072676864

payed a 5 dollar fee for a 50 dollar transfer that is super expensive, would not have dont the transfer if i saw the fee earlier. and you cant take a 500 million transfer and compare it . it is 5 dollar no mather the size.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 15€ to send Bitcoin on: June 01, 2019, 02:11:39 PM
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com

Too expensive to send my money so only interested in zero confirmation sportsbooks that allow deposits of 1 Satoshis/vbyte.
Sportsbet is the only one I know but sometimes I have to wait 2-3 days to withdraw which in fine since its better then paying 208 Satoshis/vbyte | 0.00208 BTC/KvB.
Are there any others please post in this thread and thank you!

the fees are crazy right now , paying atleast 5 dollar each transaction. and its way to high.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN Price surges over 9k$ but suffers massive dump on: June 01, 2019, 01:16:00 PM
Hey everyone
Finally we did attain a milestone of 9000$ that was long awaited.
We we're actually dancing between the price of 8.5k and 8.7k $.
Unfortunately it suffered a massive dump and lost 500$,
Now trading at near 8.5k $ , it's hard to see the market pull through if we just sell at those important moments.
What I feel is , it's moment like these that actually are the most critical for any market , if people support and if they instead of selling hold onto that , the price will only become stronger .
It could have been 10k $ , but let's just hope this pit gets filled soon.
Also the good thing is , even after the huge sell off it still managed to trade @8.5k $ , that's why I believe the bull Market is going to take it way further than we can imagine.

corrections always happends , if it goes up alot it will always drop some of the gain before it moves up again, crossing 9k is a good sign for the future, and if it breakes 9k again and stays above it we are in a realy good area for the future.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: May 31, 2019, 07:14:44 PM

Let me know what you guys think, june historically has been a good performer 5 out of 7 years.

https://youtu.be/0kwGxZQOgYs

you can never know and past trends does not set future trends, so even if it happend 5 out of 7 this might make it 5 out of 8.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with BTC? on: May 30, 2019, 01:51:14 PM
These guys say that BTC is going up thanks to apps such as Lolli and CasaHodl which have helped to accumulate and simplify the process of being a bitcoin market participant. https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/why-is-the-price-of-btc-rising/

Any other explanations as to what's causing this BTC upsurge?

100% sure that that is not the reason for btc going up, feels like alot of people just want to find a reason for everthing, it might be so that it was time for btc to go up easy as that. been in a down market for over one year so was about time.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE OLD AND NEW MINING BITCOIN SCAM ALWAYS on: May 28, 2019, 04:07:51 PM
The most existing Mining scam, beaware :

Scammer : Please create a blockchain wallet and just send me the loging details, let the wallet be empty !

You : I dont want to share my login details !

Scammer : The wallet is empty and I need to connect you to the mining pool and I need the login details !

You : Ok let me share

Scammer : Ok I connected you to the wallet but there should be a minimum amount of btc in your wallet ,so please deposit

You : You would deposit and then they are gone forever as he already stole your wallet pass phrase !

167  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Caused Bitcoin to Jump 100%? on: May 28, 2019, 04:03:24 PM

Is there any particular reason Bitcoin has jumped 100%+ in 5 months?

The article below is really interesting naming 5 of the potential causes, but i'm still not convinced this is sustainable - it's reminding me of 2017 times and I sense a correction. Let me know if you think it's any different this time and why?

https://medium.com/@marcus_61942/return-of-the-bitcoin-bulls-a-summary-of-the-potential-causes-f9febb1a4664

alot of people been waiting for it to stop dropping and find support and it did at around 3k and once it bounced people panic bought and it just flooded the market with buy orders, and alot of shorts got liquidated on the way also just making the buy side get even more momentum.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 28, 2019, 09:39:54 AM

169  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 28, 2019, 09:35:08 AM
35 days ago I started a thread and I told you btc will go 9k$ bcz china banned miners, but some of you dont believed me, Today BTC is 8100$ in some exchange, Here is that thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5130327.msg50545198#msg50545198
Now I have a good news , BTC to 50k$ bcz china banned miner, my friend in China confirmed 90% of miner in china are shutdown. BTC can easy go to 50K$ and more.
Less miners = More Demand = increasing price, as simple as that.

you seem to be right my friend Cheesy lets see if ur right the whole way to 50k or if it will stop at ath and go down again like last time.
170  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance and EUR/BTC on: May 28, 2019, 09:33:48 AM
Hi guys,

I am currently exploring some crypto exchanges to buy bitcoins and I was wondering if Binance has EUR/BTC market because I couldn't find EUR/BTC.

And by the way, how do you rate Binance as exchange? What is for you, the best exchange at this moment?

Thank you
Binance has USD/BTC not EUR/BTC

I would say you will be okay going with Binance. Just do not keep your coin with them. Use your own wallet. Feel free to ask question regarding wallets after buying the coins.

Welcome to the community.

i would say its pretty safe to have funds with binance , even if they got hacked they payed everything back in a way smoother fashion then i ever seen before. i would say binance is the safest of the exchanges ofc wallets are safter but for a exchange they are pretty awesome
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in thinking, Do not worry later. on: May 27, 2019, 06:19:54 PM
At present, the situation in the market. There is no chance of becoming an overnight buyer in BITCOIN. So think about investing more often than new investors. Many of them have seen their capital being wasted. Due to investing without understanding,

invest a amount over a large window of time instead of buying one big position one time, spread it out and you will both be calmer during the time you invest and it will make you have a better price in the long run.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin is "a fair share"? on: May 27, 2019, 10:40:44 AM
I personally prefer my own 1 in a million target which is about having 21 bitcoins and since there are only a cap of 21 million bitcoin if you own 21BTC you will be one in a million! of course that target is going to become harder and harder to reach as bitcoin price rises every year but having that in mind motivates me to accumulate more before we reach mass adoption: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1790863.0

thats awesome dude its a nice goal! always nice to be one in a million, Im going for 1 btc that feels like a realistic goal for now. maybe one day i can also reach for 21 btc
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hit 100k in 2020? on: May 27, 2019, 09:48:56 AM
100k is very un-realistic in my opinion. ideal would be btc back to around 20k at end of this year with maybe peaking somewhere around 24-25k sometime.then in 2020 we can hope for 40k ishh or atmost 50k.

feels abit dreamlike for it to hit 100k just getting back to all time high is a long way left, and when we hit that we can start talking about other goals that might be possible in the future.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give up in crypto (my experience) on: May 27, 2019, 09:39:46 AM
I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade & do  airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. I got rekt on several occasions yet I kept the fire burning. I became tired of the hustle after buying into a coin which was delisted causing a massive dip, I had put in 5000$ in that coin and it turned 600$ overnight. Then I decided to take a bow.

I was encouraged by my mentor not to give up, I took it as a cock and bull story initially, I created a bitcointalk account later, scrolling through some forums just reading and learning from pro in crypto space. I decided to give it a second one try.

I added a few coins to my portfolio and abandoned them. Recently I got sacked from my job for no justifiable reason, then the only thing I could think about is crypto. I checked my portfolio yesterday, my 600$ then turned 7200$. Please always be patient. Buy into coins with great future , give it time, never panic sell. I hope you learn from my experience.

nice that your story had a happy ending, know alot of people with no luck instead. but im glad for your sake Cheesy
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS BETTING? on: May 27, 2019, 09:19:41 AM
You can try the two most famous Esports betting sites here Sportsbet.io and NitrogenSports.eu. they offer a very good betting experience and their odds are good too. I am sure you gonna enjoy betting there.

they pretty much cover the whole esport betting needs. and both are reliably and works great almost all of the time. might not give the best odds but they are not to bad either.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of poker player are you? on: May 27, 2019, 09:13:07 AM
I have noticed that there two kinds of persons in poker gambling (when it refers to profits)

1._ The hit and run ones
2._ The ones who uses the money earned on previous bets to hunt for a bigger reward

What's your kind?

i dont like it becuse i mostly lose all of it but i have to say im type 2, i wish sometimes i was more of a type 1 player. would have made me alot more money in the long run Cheesy
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope I can still ride the bull. on: May 27, 2019, 09:11:17 AM
I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

Thanks in advance! More power to you guys!  Wink

bitmex seems to be king of the leverage game, but its easy to get liquidated from feeling the need to use to high of a leverage it goes up to 100x times your amount, and 5x your amount is what people would consider "safe"
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 27, 2019, 09:04:40 AM
Bitcoin is not money.

It is more an artwork with 21,000,000 limited editions. And each limited edition contains 100,000,000 limited pieces. (satoshis)

everything you can use to buy things has to be counted as money, what else would you call it if not money. Ofc some people use it as a investment but so do they with "real" money but we still call that money dont we?
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MORE TYPES OF BITCOIN SCAMS on: May 26, 2019, 09:56:34 PM
Tips for Respective Bitcoin HOLDERS :

Types of Bitcoin SCAMS :

1) Never trust anyone who says Invest your bitcoins here/there and we will show how they grow down the line ! Never trust anyone and transfer your bitcoins into any wallet, once they are gone they are gone forever ! So please !

2) Any one threatening saying they know your secrets and request you for Bitcoins, dont even care just hit the delete button !

3) Anybody calls you and says they are from your exchange and request for access/password,just hangup the call !

4) Whatever stories you hear or told, never let your bitcoins leave your WALLET AT ANY COST !

5) Dont buy bitcoins from anyone who says they are selling for cheap ! Buy only from Trusted Exchanges !

Just dont care and move on for any of the above !!

some good guidelines you got there for newer btc people to navigate the scam/thief jungle that exist and trying to take your hard earned crypto.
