101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: June 23, 2019, 11:24:07 AM
I dont know if you do this strategy on your betting game but if it is then good job. Its not about hacking the system of the house because its almost impossible to do and you cant win from them. Its about how to increase the possibility of getting home having a pocket full of money. So here it is.

1.) set aside a capital you can lose. Its upto you. If you lose it all of a sudden then youre such an unlucky man, you are helpless. Just Kidding. If its gone then go home. Try again if you have extra.

2.) lets say you win, set aside your capital if possible. If not, take 10% of every win in your pocket. With this you can go home with money even just coins. Not bad.

3.) in every loss, lower your bet so you can have more chances of winning again. If you bet all your money on one single bet and lose, then you know whats next. Go home lonely.

You see, these arent all sure but these are helpful. These hacks are only applicable to you and not the site. If you dont have controll then its nonsense.

thats a good bankroll managment you got there it follows the poker bankroll rules alot, and thats a good thing will have you playing for along time without losing everything from some bad beats.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attack on Bitcoin on: June 23, 2019, 11:17:44 AM
Somewhere, a group is preparing an attack on Bitcoin. It will come around the next big pump. The attackers will have an exponentially large advantage of computing power. If the network isn't compromised, it will be severely damaged.

and where did you hear this? or is it just some speculation from your part? not heard about this before.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: June 23, 2019, 10:40:51 AM
I believe there are some people in the community who are in the standpoint that "Bitcoin isn't successful" unless they can use it for "almost-zero fee" coffee transactions. But is it truly a failure?

bitcoin as a store of value is great, like art and stocks , but i would not use it for transactions since its not very fast compare to the compitition,
104  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com scam - lost funds on: June 23, 2019, 08:40:13 AM
H there,

At the moment we are a group of several victims of the company Block chain dot com and we entrusted our funds to Block chain Luxembourg and lost over 400 bitcoins, this amount is worth today about 4.5 million American dollars.
We are sure we didn't do anything what could influence to the security of our wallets which were used at blockchain  com (generating paper wallets, storing passphrase, etc). In most cases we were using Apple environment (mainly newest iPhones and official blockchain app).

In the presence, we are a group of people in exactly the same situation - we lost part or all of our funds. We have lost 400 bitcoins in total on block chain dot com.
We are convinced that there are many victims in the world who are cheated in a similar way.

Please check out our video on youtube (English, German, Chinese) to get more information:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbJi2VKiXy8VIERjea_KSEw .

At the beginning of July, we will be in Luxemburg to issue a case in Luxemburg's prosecutor. Lastly, we'd like to open class action in Luxembourg Court and sue Blockchain Luxemburg (blockchain.info) for security vulnerability of their software/API or stealing people's coins. It will only be possible with many pieces of evidence about Blockchain‘s software security issues or steals.

Could you please answer our questions according to your case of losing your bitcoins:
- Has you your only been used with blockchain.com ?
- What kind of wallet was it?
e.g. (paper - with or without passphrase/hardware/generated by blockchain.info/etc.)
- Are you 100% sure your passphrase / private key were stored securely all the time and no one (not even closest friends&family) didn't have access to it?
- Could you provide us with a link to the transaction which is related to your case?
- Do you still have access to your wallet on blockchain.com?
- Do you still have your wallet address, private key and passphrase?
- How did your case end? Do you know any predictions of the real cause of your loss? (is it different than the actual status of your case?)

We will do everything to protect your privacy, but there is a possibility we would have to provide your contact details to Public's Luxembourg prosecutors. Do you agree with that?

106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like the story for the Gypsy woman and the milk on: June 23, 2019, 12:48:46 AM
First thing first, I am into BTC since 2012 and Bitcoin reminds me too much of this story.
If you do not have 10 BTC in your pocket it seems a lot, but if you have them you are like the Gypsy woman and the Milk ( Traditional Bulgarian Fairy Tale from the Duben Region).
So Once upon a time there was a Gypsy woman who was very very poor. She was so poor, that she never ate milk in her life before. So one day she decided to buy a bottle of milk on the market with her last money earned from begging.
In the past, when they were selling the milk it was fresh and not pasteurized so everyone has to boil it first before consume it.
So the Gypsy woman went home and started preparing lunch with the milk, she was so poor that it was the first time she was going to eat milk in her life so she did not know that the milk is making foam while boiling and is increasing its size until done.
When the hot milk started to rise in the pot the Gypsy woman started thinking: "Oh this is great, now I have almost double the amount of milk, I will feed also my Gypsy Husband with it!" The milk continued to rise while boiling and she started being greedy and instead of removing it from the fire she exclaimed: "Common precious milk, rise little more and I will have more to feed my Gypsy Kids!" The milk continued to rise and almost filled the whole pot. The Gypsy was so excited she started singing: " Rise more precious milk and I will have enough milk to feed me and the whole family for one month ahead!" While singing and consumed by the dream of having milk for all her life the milk burned out and spilled all over the walls and the roof. The Gypsy woman did not have anything left neither for her or her family, she lost everything. The Gypsy woman cried and never bought milk again.
THE END

sounds very much like all the investors counting their money before they even widrawld anything from their acount ending up with nothing in the end in form of profit, i like this story never heard it before but its a good story about greed. and celebrating ahead of time.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: June 23, 2019, 12:06:32 AM
Two and a half year ago I decided to be a cable cutter, so I canceled my cable subscription, that included around 10 sports channels, after that, I have lived with  movie and series streaming options like Netflix, the only time I paid to get access to stream sport was for one month at the 2018 world cup.

But I still gamble each day on sports, most of my gamble is on football, but I never or almost never watch any games live.

How important is it to be able to watch the matches to make correct bets on the teams. I don't think it has made any difference for me, I still withdraw more money than I deposit from my sport bookmakers.

My question is, do you watch the games your gambling on?

depends on you pre match bet or live bet, sometimes you can just see the momentu shift happen when you what a game. but in tennis i read alot of live betters prefer not to watch the game live becuse alot of tennis players sometime "act" so you overreact on situations when they call in a trainer for instance when they just need a breather to think lol.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: June 22, 2019, 06:20:36 PM
This should be a good fight. Might place a small bet on Pacquiao.

A lot of people are placing bets in favor of Pacquiao and I am sure that the gambling sites are very happy. I too would have placed a bet in favor of him, had they offered at least 250 against 100. But the best they got is 210, and considering all the parameters, it is not worth the risk. I was thinking about placing a bet in favor of Thurman, but hasn't decided yet. Most of the sites are offering 170-180, and I think that it is a very good deal. My personal prediction is that Thurman has around 75% chance of an outright win.

How can we sure that a lot of people are betting on Pacman, maybe only those fans would say, but Thurman also has a lot of fans.
We can only based on the odds, here, Thurman is the favorites, so obviously there's no enough money betting on Pacman to change the odds.

realy want pacman to win, but thruman seems to be the bet dont think pacman has what it takes to win this fight, but i have been wrong alot of times before lol Smiley
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any strategic way in playing poker? on: June 22, 2019, 06:01:42 PM
Something similar though you might try "losing" on purpose every now and then to remain a bit less predictable.

this is actualy a good tip, and i have one more playing worse hands than u usualy do to seem weaker then you are, and play the weak hands the same as you play the strong hands so they have a hard time reading when you are bluffing or not.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 22, 2019, 05:51:09 PM
Controlling emotion is something that is easier to be said but it will be hard to be done especially in gambling. When we are in the lucky day, win good amount of money, some of us tend to play over and over again till we meet the bad situation. While we are in the loss state, most gamblers will try to chase their loss as soon as possible and usually they will do something that is beyond their limits. Controlling emotion is a must and we have to make it as priority although it won't be easy.

agreed, you go crazy when you lose your hard earn money, on something that has to be with luck, and you realy want to win it all back to feel better often you lose more than you did in the beginning in the end.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: June 22, 2019, 05:47:16 PM
Recently, a Korean National has been robbed here in my place while riding the Taxi going home and lose the money that he won in the casinos, Its around 4Million Pesos or $75,000. This is not new in gambling industry since many incidents like this before. Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunities to become a millionaire, and yet it is being taken easily by a more greedy people. Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?

Here’s the link for your reference (it’s not translated in english but I’ve already share the summary of this news):
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/balitambayan/balita/679284/koreanong-nanalo-ng-p4m-sa-casino-hinoldap-sa-pasay/story/

this is why i hate winning money at the casinos, you feel total paranoid checking everywhere on you way out and back home. you cant trust anyone and you never know if the have some kind of scouts inside the casino just looking for targets to robb.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving on: June 22, 2019, 05:44:44 PM
At the beginning of August, there is LTC halving. Does Btc and ltc move together or does ltc increase independently?

i dont think and it should not affect btc price since they are 2 diffrent cryptos, but this market has done crazier shit than that before so you never know, but as i said it should not affect it.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook coin is not a threat for Bitcoin on: June 22, 2019, 03:59:38 PM
Hello everyone so now i want to share a very good information with that the facebook community says the the price of facebook will be stable like a USD so its mean that there is no threat for bitcoin because all investors want that they gain more profit in short time that  is why they invest their money in bitcoin because the btc price is fluctuated and for good investment need the unstable price.

it was never a threat to bitcoin it was always suppose to be used for a completly diffrent thing then bitcoin, its more of a token then for storing value.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 22, 2019, 07:52:06 AM
I gamble because I guess this is the only time I feel like enjoying myself. I don't have any other hobbies except for playing games. Sometimes I got bored on playing and I sometime tried gambling and I thought that it was fun and I'm earning at least a little.

its the same for me , i like watching sports but i dont real have a "team" so betting on matches make me atleast want one team to win and i will enjoy the games way more that way.
115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier – Where is all the Pump Coming From? on: June 22, 2019, 07:50:18 AM
On June 21 2019, Bitcoin price reached a new peak, hitting $10,646 and firmly beating daily returns of almost all major cryptocurrencies. For the first time in 15 months

Bitcoin’s price surged above $10,000 on major cryptocurrency exchanges. The bitcoin price broke the $10K barrier at 7:35 pm Eastern Time.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

Where do you think Bitcoin is heading next?

it has not even reached its old all time high so its not to late, the price might reach 1 million we never know, but its never a bad thing to invest some becuse you never know whats going to happen.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 is around the corner on: June 21, 2019, 09:03:26 AM
Everything is clear to me, a single day of pump is good but also scary. It can still go down but hopefully not, we are hoping for the price of $10k maybe before the end of 2nd quarter is the sign for 5 digits level. I’m happy but not celebrating yet because I want to hold more and earn more.

seems like we will reach it soon, might even be next week in this pace. but my guess is we are going to stay in the 9k range for awhile before a move up that seems to be the norm these days with crypto.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Artificial Inteligence + blockchain = deadly combination? on: June 21, 2019, 09:02:03 AM
The title says it all. As I see now many countries use blockchain with AI to get better privacy and security. Any thoughts?

think the whole ai thing can be abit dangerous in any field we use it in, we realy need to make sure we have total control of it, so it dont go around changing stuff without us knowing.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst claim Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000 on: June 20, 2019, 10:16:16 PM
According to technical analysis Bitcoin price is currently trading in a triangle pattern, marked by a narrower and narrower range. With the decrease in volume, a break is increasingly likely. Moreover, it seems that the break of $9,400 might lead bitcoin price to  reach a next resistance level of $9,800, $9,900 and $10,000.

While the whole crypto ecosystem is eagerly waiting for BTC price to reach $10,000. According to few analysts Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000.

crossing 10k would give btc huge momentum its been down under 10k for so long alot of people even gave up hope for btc ever crossing 10 k again, and here we are getting closer and closer, it would be such a huge momentum swing, might even push it across 20k but not like in a week but over months

120  Economy / Services / Re: $16,466 monthly revenue opportunity on: June 20, 2019, 12:43:51 PM
So trough my business I stumbled upon a opportunity a data center  with cheap electricity that's offering me this deal. So since I am a bitcoin novice and not a fan of the industry do you guy have any ideas where I could advertise this deal or who would be interested??

  *   We can offer 600 BTC miners (specs 1300 Watts Power, 12 TH/s Hashing power) for $ 275/ miner ($165k USD initial investment) - these are last years miners so they are heavily discounted
  *   For set up, there would be a one time fee of $25,000 USD
  *   For power, lease space and administration we would charge $10,000 / month
  *   Your power costs to run the machines would be approx. $38,500 / month (would vary slightly as power is paid in CDN dollars)
  *   Your return rate (i.e. value of Bitcoin produced at todays rate of $7,664.51 USD) would be $54,966 USD
  *   So - monthly revenue from your machines would be approx. $16,466 (before admin fee - $6,466 net)
   *   Term would need to be 12 months to start then monthly with a 2 month notice period after initial term

looks alitle to good to be true i would stay away from this, but u never know this might be legit, but i have a hard time beliving that.
