161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: March 30, 2016, 06:48:51 AM
As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?
first, explain them what bitcoin is and what bitcoin can do.
then show him/her how to get it, how it works.
you can tell about signature campaign. show how you make posts, and when you get bitcoin, show the proof, then buy something using bitcoin or convert it to fiat.
I think it'll work.
I agree, that's how my friend makes me know what bitcoin is. I got interested because he can buy things and stuff by working simply in the internet.

162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft will continue to support bitcoin on: March 30, 2016, 06:45:06 AM
Actually Apple are trying to control everything in their operating system a lot more than Windows and you have to provide a lot of personal information to even have access to the Apple store and download free apps. I would trust Microsoft implementing Bitcoin into their infrastructure more than Apple because Apple are famous for selling overpriced products for exorbitant amounts of money  Wink How can you be sure they won't try to monetize Bitcoin too in a way to rip off their customers?
Windows is the same, by using Win 10, you actively giving microsoft your data. There's an article in the internet.

Even tho Windows isn't forcing you to use a store, Microsoft isn't any better than Apple.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Remains Most Popular Digital Currency on Dark Web on: March 26, 2016, 10:42:50 AM

It might well  e the most popular on the dark web but that doesn't mean most people use bitcoin just for crime. Also fiat cash is the most used for crime but its useless to use it online thats the only reason why its not #1.
True. Bitcoin is used more because it's more anonymous than fiat. Transferring money from banks is much much riskier than transfering bitcoin.

164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: March 26, 2016, 10:41:00 AM
People.around me dont really pay attention to bitcoin even though i already explained in various way, and show them how i can spend the coin, they simply dont interested

most of the time that's the way it's gonna happen, even how many times you explain it to them to make their life much easier if they are not interested nothing is gonna happen. The best way is just don't bother them anymore. Why waste time to them??
Well, with enough patience, they will eventually listen the things you say . That could make them understand and maybe use it.

As long you didn't shove it in their throat, with enough patience it will work.

166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 26, 2016, 10:30:30 AM
yes but i'm not just waiting, i spend my bitcoin to play gambling too thats make me get many profit from there.
Gambling.. thats a poor way of using your money. Did you profit from it? or loss?

It's your money.. who am i to judge.

IMO , it's better that you keep your profit from gambling and wait for the price raise. Dont use the profit for gambling again.

Gambling is not  a good strategy to make your bitcoin grow. I think it is better just to hold it than betting it. In gambling, your profit will only determined by luck and nothing more. If you happen to unlucky on a day, you can lose it all. While holding have a higher chance of profit. Only, you have to wait for months, maybe years, before you can realize your profit.

Holding is really the best way rather than gambling in just a few months bitcoin prices will be high and you will surely profit from it.
Agreed, gambling is super super risky. The profit will be more little than the earning , except you are really lucky.

Investing is much much safer, but the earning will be more little as well. (except you buy a lot of bitcoin.)
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin protect? on: March 26, 2016, 10:28:47 AM
You didn't need that much of protection. As long you dont download malware , spyware or such (viruses). It's safe.

168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me Safest bitcoin wallet on: March 26, 2016, 10:27:33 AM
PAPER.
I've tried them all, when it comes down to it, a well generated paper wallet is the best. And cheapest.

It's cheapest, but keep it safe and not damaged is harder.
Thief can steal your bitcoin paper wallet and it can be damaged when there's disaster or because it's too old.
BIP38 encryption is fairly effective against theft when a strong password is used. At anytime, users should be keeping multiple backups of the wallet at multiple locations. For higher grade paper, oxidation isn't much of a problem.

The problem you stated would also potentially be a problem with hardware wallets.
Hello
please tell me how to keep my bitcoin safe on android?
I don't want to use desktop, hardware or paper wallets becsuse i want to spend bitcoins on the go and anytime i want that's why i need the independent android bitcoin wallet that is safe and i am pretty sure there are no malware for android that can steal bitcoins.Am i right?
Use Mycelium. The app can be downloaded in the playstore.

It's great and safe as well. Its really secure , since it got an award from blockchain.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 25, 2016, 04:26:00 PM
Will the internet survives? if yes, then bitcoin will survive.

But there will be no developer or users then, everyone is focused in rebuilding the civilization.

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 25, 2016, 04:25:13 PM
Everything can be used for illegal transactions. Probably USD in the form of cash is still the most used tool for illegal activities. I guess EUR is the second.
yeah agree we can draw the conclusion that every currency is worth of course there is a mafia they conduct illegal activities. was reasonable in any currency so if you find on bitcoin it is reasonable
Every currency is used for illegal activities. No currency in this world is clean. Even bitcoin is dirty as well.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 25, 2016, 04:23:16 PM
Let's be realistic here. Internet is not gonna disappear over night. To shaken pillars of global network some huge catastrophe would need to happen first.
Global nuclear war, huge EMP blast, Sun emitting some kind of solar flare etc. - if any kind of event of that magnitude will happen I would rather worry about my life than anything else - including BTC.

It's easy to get EMP blast need just wait for world war III and than internet can be destroyed. But it wont happen soon i think so internet will live and bitcoin too.
EMP is expensive you know. And using EMP in every places with internet will cost alot of money.

Even in WW3, using EMP everywhere is dumb.

172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: March 25, 2016, 04:18:20 PM
The competition in online jobs is increasing every day. If you are lucky or undersell yourself every time maybe you will be guaranteed some work every month but there is no way that is better than a regular full time job with a stable income and perks like health insurance and pension fund + paid vacations.

Actually, if you have expert skills that only some people can do that. You can earn much money, you can even earn more than $1 per hour. and i agree, full time job is more worth imo.
many ways you can earn 1$ per hour not need expert skills. you can watch movie to get paid, read books,PTC,etc.. yes full time job is more good and safe than you choose as a freelancer.

Being a freelancer is really hard as it depends on your skill if somebody wants to hire you, skill is really what they are looking for in doing freelance work.
Agreed. There's a lot of services here that you can do if you got the skills.

The earning is pretty good sometimes. And that maybe could earn you a lot of money.
173  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 25, 2016, 04:16:12 PM
It's hard to earn a living with btc. Except you do a really sucessful business or doing some services, living only with bitcoin is hard.

It's easier if you live in a third world country, but for europe and US? it's hard.

175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 25, 2016, 04:12:51 PM
I bet bitcoin can because there is many bitcoin user now. And once many nations accept bitcoins
it is possible to make banks disappear. Because it has fast transactions and more secured and because technology becomes
more modern now it can easily fit in the modern world and it can use in different ways in the internet.
Yes when the user base of bitcoin keeps on growing and the requirement for Internet money usage makes more demand, then there are more possibilities for bitcoin to make Banks disappear.
Yes worldwide most people and many countries already started to adopt bitcoin payments instead of their bank uses. The main reason for this, bitcoin has all the features required for more and demand like fast and secured transactions.
Maybe you're right, but the average person using the bank for the transaction and can not escape. Although they use bitcoin surely they also use banks to save banks. Banks disappears it is very unlikely and it was very hard going.

Banks can hardly disappear as most companies has affiliates with banks and some businessman owns a bank as well and company owner still uses banks to pay their worker through atm.
I agree. Banks will not disappear until fiat disappear aswell. And that's almost impossible (yet, i dont know the future)

If fiat still used, then banks will still be there aswell.
176  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2016, 04:10:56 PM
There is only one plan for this. Of course gambling. Maybe you cn be rich or maybe you can be poor than now
Seriously? gambling? if you failed then boom, your money is gone.

If you got money, it's better to buy bitcoins or other altcoins. Then you sell it when the price skyrocket. You'll be rich in no time.

Safest? Hardware wallet. It's super safe, but it's pretty expensive.

Paper wallet is good and safe enough, but if someone found your paper wallet... the end.
179  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 25, 2016, 04:04:25 PM
Everyone with a bitcoin believes in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is rising, and with the halving soon, the price will skyrocket.

Bitcoin will live long.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 25, 2016, 04:01:07 PM
If internet goes down.. well... Bitcoin is gone aswell.

You can't do transaction, sell your bitcoin, nor buying it.
