That is a very huge amount of money that you have lose through gambling and I hope you have recovered that. Gambling is a game of chance and we should not put much more that we cannot afford to lose.
Agree, but hurting for recovering make more injuries in a gambler's life, just speaking from experience. Many gamble without self control, and end in such situation like OP does. Gambling sensibly and responsively, make the difference between a self control gambler and the one who cannot control s/he emotion while gambling. Am actually very sorry for your looses but never again try such. Lol. There's pretty much nothing to be done about it now that it already happened, aside from learning a bitter lesson. 10btc is what? 80k usd at today's value? That's not a simple amount and one would have to be foolish if they'll spend that much in gambling. Or they have a lot of money to burn. Lessons, lessons. Hopefully some people wouldn't need to lose this big before realizing their priorities.

I dont know if my strategy is called strategy or it is called self control. Like in boxing. I do 1,2 jab! Then run. In gambling, play, win, run! Truthfully, from my experience you will never win in the long run.
I think it still considered a strategy not to loss so much and at the same not get controlled by gambling. Some people may not agree with this but for me, its best to have this kind of mindset because it will help you save money though its not big profit but who cares so long as you have saved something rather than losing everything! Kudos to you because you have so much control, I tried to do the same but I really can’t do it consistently I got carried away with my winning and tend to bet more in return I lose to it. Yeah, that 1-2 punch technique probably won't work all the time especially if you're already dealing with a big amount. Imagine losing big on your first try. It's not going to be that easy to just walk away and it's going to take extreme self control to do that. It can work though for smaller bets that you can afford to lose. Or if you win in your first tries. It's harder to stop if you're trying to recover your losses and the amount you lost is something you'll need.

Personally, i wouldn't want to gamble with my parents becasue we aren't good when it come to play time. Since i was introduced into the world of gambling, my parents aren't aware of my involvement, so, gambling with them will cause me more injuries than i thought. Even, my parent never encourage gambling, as it's against our religion and custom.
Gambling will not do any good especially when treating it as a serious activities, it will add more pressures when you are sitting in front of your parents and playing against them, if you have such good custom you will never encounter this and suffer with huge involvement as your parents will not tolerate your act, good to follow what they've done not to encourage gambling inside your family. Gambling with parents will not really bring any good because aside from the pressures you will gain from gambling, there are also high chances that you will get all lose in gambling at the end of the day.It' enough already to see one member of the family as a gambler but having involved the rest of the family team is never a good idea. On the other hand, you get to gamble with more responsible people and having your parents with in this kind of hobby may avoid getting you too hooked. It's not as if all of you will have the same outlook towards gambling. One or both may stand up to say that's enough and that's a good way to control your gambling ways. Your parents will always look to what's better for you because that's what most parents do so for me, i think it's not a bad idea after all.

It depends on the individual gambler of course. For you it's probably okay but some aren't at ease with providing their information. Some people find it more secure when they play anonymously. The sites where you put in your information can be hacked and kyc info can be compromised. That's what crypto casinos are trying to solve but kyc verification removes anonymity and makes some people feel vulnerable.

I don't think all those things are worth it. I only care about what I get and not about VIP and things like that. Those things are what casinos are using to draw more customers to themselves, and some addicted gamblers will be wasting their money just because they want to be VIPs. Okay, some people might like the rewards that comes from being a VIP on a betting sites, but I don't really fancy them, cause it doesn't really change anything.
You only get the rewards based on some certain criteria, and these rewards van be anything but I don't think they are worth what you might to spend to earn them. And I don't think being a VIP increases your chance winning every game more than a non-VIP player.
The VIP ranks are similar to a leveling system it's just renamed VIP to make it sound enticing to gamblers. Being a VIP does change things in some way for example on Bitsler you get certain rewards if you get enough xp even though it's not a big reward but it's still extra money you could be missing out on. Ii agree It doesn't increase your chances in winning but they're giving more back in return. Casinos giving back in return? That's a bit shady if you ask me. They're not going to do it if there's nothing in it for them. These VIP schemes are a way to draw users and to keep them coming back. Not that complicated and it's good for the business if you have loyal "VIPs" And "high ranked" Players frequent on your site.

I'm not addicted to gambling. However, I think spending time with friends and family or having travelling for a week or two can derive someone from gambling. I would try that.
Then you are out from in this list who have serious problem of addiction of gambling. But it is good know that you are not addicted to gambling. I always tell it that gambling is not harmful, if we are not addicted of it. In this wise, gambling give us fun and entertainment, but only for those people who start to play gambling in this sense to get fun from it and spend a good time with gambling. That's actually a solution in itself already though. Keep yourself busy by going outside and exploring. You may still find that itch to gamble when you're outside but eventually your attention will be somewhere else. It's really difficult if you're just stuck at home while you're trying to find solutions about your gambling ways. I know someone who got addicted to climbing mountains instead while trying to remove his gambling addictions.

Correct gambling eating brain and money if the gambler did not how control itself its become addecting. Some of people get in that situstion because they trest gambling as source of income and become a greedy.
Agreed, not some even mostly people have that thinking that gambling give them money if they do it as a source of income, but in fact gambling finish their money and we can't understand it and when we understand it then time has been finished just like our money. That's a wrong thinking, you'll never enjoy gambling if you treat it as a source of income. The mindset of the people who are dumb in gambling has to change, we cannot be too ambitious in making money in gambling as most likely it will only end up us having a big problem, financial problem to be specific, we cannot beat them, we only spend, so instead of chasing the money, just enjoy. Look at it this way, a lot of us aren't even enjoying our day jobs where we get consistent income. Imagine with gambling as your main source for spending. You wouldn't have it consistently so there will be times when you'll end up really frustrated. The more you try hard to make money out of it, the more it will bea source of disappointment.

That's it baby.
That's how the creators of GOT decided to ruin the best show ever in the TV history, which started as epic story and ends up like a dud bomb.
Visually and vfx point of view last episode was good and some of my fav shots comes from the last episode. other than that nothing.
Will wait for Martin's book from here now.
Waiting for grrm's book to finish as well lol. Though unlike most of the people i know, i didn't think the ending was that bad. Yeah in a way it was weaker than the previous season and i think people are expecting more after waiting 2 years,.but hey, the starks did end up winners here and jon and ghost did have a nice reunion. To those who were disappointed, i guess you'll have to wait for the books as well to see how it really ended 😁

Even if how skilled you are on playing poker, if you dont have enough luck to win then your skills will be nothing. For me, poker needs luck and strategy at the same time, not also skills needed here, luck is always a good partner when it comes in every type of gambling.
If talking about gambling everybody knows to won gambling it required luck but slightly different to poker game especially PvP when you against people around the world with skill it will slightly boost your luck because many factor to determine win every game on poker game and also during playing poker you have to prepare your mentally well because sometimes you will find the players who very dare to bluffing although they have bad cards Well it is an open secret that if you try to become an expert at something, you have to increase the frequency of doing it more often. This repetition in Poker give rise to expertise and hence in wins later on in life. So if you practice a lot in poker, you will learn many things about it. In addition, the best poker guys today were the starters back in the past so go for it and get your hands dirty. Yeah, if you think luck plays a bigger part in poker, then clearly you don't play poker lol. I consider it more of a sport than a gambling game that relies mostly on being lucky. Poker players very seldom hope for a good hand and try to make strategies out of whatever hand they get. Try watching professional poker games. It's about reading your opponent and making them commit mistakes.

I thought this thread explains how you don't become an addict. because many players become addicts because they are dumb.
Anyway, I agree too, that never play or use a large amount to gamble on gambling sites that you think that site are foreign to you
...
Never play a large amount on any gambling site, if you don't want to become addict ). If you win a big prize you'd likely want to repeat it. If you lose a lot, you may want to win back. Play safe, with amount you can lose for entertainment purposes and that's will help you not addicted to gambling Lol. That's right. It's foolish to bet on any site, new or old, with large amounts of money that you can't afford or an amount you'll probably need for more important things. Though gambling makes a fool out of many of us lol. You'll see many dumb decisions from normally logical people when they start to get themselves deep into gambling lol.

Bullish behavior of btc can increase or decrease the turnover in gambling. Many people will hold on to their btc to get benefit from increasing bitcoin prices ad others will still invest in gambling, to further increase their btc. If you ask me the best time for the gamblers is when the btc is stable, as I do not think gamblers like the volatile prices of bitcoin.
It will really affect one way or another, But majority of crypto gamblers treat 1 sat = 1 sat and not as USD value. So Crypto Casino platform profits and players will not be affected when bull run comes. In fact this will increase their userbase and active gamblers that wanting to multiply their Coins. That could be true, but that will depend on the gambler itself because I think some players don't want to use bitcoin as the bet. They see the bitcoin price now was an increase, and they want to sell their bitcoin for making the profit. But the other gamblers will be happy if they use bitcoin for the bets because they don't have to use a lot of bitcoin to play gambling because use a small bit will give them a time to play gambling for a long time. I agree. Crypto.gamblers see their bets through satoshis and not usd so it's irrelevant for most if the value of btc rises or falls. And i think it makes sense. They're there to gamble not to trade btc. Of course there will be those who will consider the dollar equivalent but they're likely not among those who gamble simply for the sake of gambling. People who aim profit more than having simple fun.

Entering 5th month this year, sad to say I'm already in the negative and so I have to leave gambling for now as I have priorities this month and don't have that extra money to carry my gambling habits.
Plus bitcoin price is picking up lately, might be good to safe some right now specially when the price touch $6k-$6.5k in the next coming months. I'm not addicted, I can control my emotions and because I'm focus more on other things.
You're just taking a right choice. If you think you can't afford to gamble anymore since you don't have extra money for that, then learn to divert your time into some other profitable things like increasing your quality time with your family and friends.Accpet the fact that gambling won't give you a long term happiness so never focus on it. If you are in gambling for 5 months and your portfolio is in a loss, then you can leave gambling for the time being or you may spend less time / money in the gambling. You do not need to be disappointed from gambling as i have seen many people who face many consecutive loses and a few big wins cover their losses within no time. Yeah your disappointment pretty much comes from yourself. I'm also not in a good position this year when it comes to gambling but i don't really get affected that much simply because the amount i've lost or the amount i'm losing is something that i can afford to lose. That can spell a whole lot of difference when it comes to being frustrated and making silly mistakes.

Finally Raptors steal 1 game. Giannis has been fouled out and they take advantage on it, attacking inside the paint and their defense are good. They should tie the series in game4. If not, that's really a hard game as they will move into Bucks homecourt and the possible end for them. Good performance again by Kawhi and the rest of Raptors.
You're right, they need to win game 4, Raptors haven't shown a dominance and they even have a hard time winning, they are lucky to win one game, but if they can even the series, that would make this series an exciting one. In the playoffs, Bucks only loss maximum of 1 game in the last two series, so if they Raptors can tie, they are the better team of the last teams that the Bucks beat. I don't think the last series even matters at this point. The raptors are a lot better team than the celtics in the playoffs but it seems that the bucks have peaked at the right time. It'll be good to win game 4 but it's likely that giannis will be back a lot stronger that game. Sorry but i'm going for a milwaukee vs gs in the finals.

For those who trade both crypto and stocks. Which market is more predictive and easier to trade?
If you're new to both, you'll find more familiar terms and names in stock trading so it's easier to study for a newbie compared to crypto, where the coins would sound like jargons and you'd have to make extra effort to get yourself aware of them. And though there's no sure esy of making predictions at all, stocks offer less volatility than crypto but crypto for me can bring bigger profit. As they say, the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward.

tip - simple earning from anywhere requires learning and gain knowledge so learn first ,dont try to make quick profits and dont listen to others and invest, ,think like an investors not like gambler and follow what all i said
And the tips enumerated from the article has nothing new to offer. But those are items that we can keep in dealing with crypto. But the last one, regarding airdrops - if a project is requiring you to complete kyc stuff, better do your homework first before sending anything to them. Actually, you can't really get new tips anymore when it comes to trading as pretty much every trick in the buck is already available in discussions like this. Or you'll learn them along the way the more you trade. The list in the link has been repeated uncountable times already and they're basically common sense for anyone who cared to reasearch about the basics of trading.

There's one world that summarizes it all. Greediness. A smart teader should know how and when to buy or sell coins. He should also posses control and patience in order to succeed in his profession. Now. If he would be riding through his emotions and eagerness to acquire more rather than to think smart, he would end up loss. Trading is very critical. We should always be cautious about everything.
When trading crypto at first know the risks and set a goal for the profit. Without setting a goal during trading we might end up loss after all of our effort. Also, to be ambitios in getting big profit it resulted of being greed might as well focus on a goal that you wanted to achieve and enough profit. Having an ambition isn't that bad at all though. All of us wants to make big profits when trading. I think we just have to be reasonable. That way, we can gauge if we're already bordering on being greedy. Your ambitions can act as your goal or motivation to study the market thoroughly and take everything as a learning step towards what you aim. It's just that we need to know how far we have to go to get to them.

I also feel the market has recently experienced price increases. That does not mean the bear market is over. In other words, the increase in the value of bitcoin has climbed slowly followed by bearish. And I hope the events of 2017 - 2018 will happen again.
The current market is little like to forward so it is looks like a last year bull run because April and May it will move forward slowly so we expect some good profit in this moon. But 2017 uptrend is really interesting to achieve the good hype in crypto market. I think still bear market was continue in next week because still peoples are believe the Bitcoin and it will continue in upcoming months. ^^ Dude. I didn't get anything you said there. How can the bear market continue when obviously the trend has been upwards for quite some time now. I'm sorry but i don't think you understand what you're talking about man. This current movement can't be attributed to the bear market anymore with even the quick correction gets turned around in a day. We've moved from 3k to 8k in under 3 months so the bears are done.

When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency. I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too. Does anybody relate to this?
Dude. What you're doing isn't affecting their lives in any way at all. Why would that change anything about your friendship? If they're that shallow for no reason then i don't think they're worth your time. For me, i don't brag about trading. And it's not that often thaty friends catch me when i 'm in binance. But when they do and they get curious, i try my best to explain. It's not illegal in my country so no reason to be secretive about it.

I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year
If you already profit, cash out is good to do. Especially if you losses a lot when price really make a lot of people suffer. But if me i keep hold because i think this is really bull run and not only bull trap. Right. The fact that this run is sustained this long and the correction of roughly 1k the other day didn't drag the market down, i don't think this is any trap anymore. If it is then there should have been massive selloffs instead of the price recovering quickly back to 8k. If you're in profit then go ahead, it's always ok to cash out when you're in profit. But i think we're just at the start of good year.

Actually, knowing what to do isn't just the best thing to do. Even you're a newbie, you can trade. Just know the necessary actions to put your orders of course. There is a thing we call beginners luck. With this, beginners got to have wins even though they are just beginners.
But actually, that beginner's luck doesn't work at all times. We are from the beginners, too. We hastily trades without thinking before. We learn by mistakes and that makes us to be eager to learn more. We are now an experienced trader who don't enter trades without basis. Relying on luck will not make us as a succer trader. Lol. It's foolish to rely on anything about luck. I don't believe in beginner's luck myself. I call it coinsidence. And if a beginner isn't careful and responsible enough to make the proper preparations, it's almost an automatic loss. Also, not being sure of what to do makes you prone to committing newbie mistakes that borders on emotions. Preparation is always better than luck.
