Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed
I know that you are desperate to quit gambling but the only person who can really help you is yourself. You said you are in trouble and you already lose huge amount of money then make it a big reason that you really need to stop. It won't happen overnight though but one step at a time, do something that will not make you think about gambling. Perhaps go out with your friends or your family or maybe involve yourself in sports.

Well not just yourself, I would say a stronger factor is to seek help from your family and friends and maybe a doctor or medical help. It is empirical that you get support and professional help that would surely be a lot more suited to aid you in your gambling problems. Sometimes it is already hard to turn back from your addiction and you are in too deep in it that it is not enough to just help yourself.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple UP and DOWN on: March 09, 2018, 10:47:57 AM
5% is nog much, but if you look at the chart Ripple is doing better than other coins. I have always believed that Ripple is a good investment for the longterm.

But it is centralized. Not like other cryptocurrencies. I would say it is just artificially pumped and those who pumped it just rode the waves when the news about ripple partnering with big companies broke out. It almost reached $3 a coin but it quickly dropped back below $1 really quick as well.
163  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-09] bitcoin.com Online Searches for “Bitcoin” Drop 80% on: March 09, 2018, 10:38:44 AM
It's expected, since the price of bitcoins has gone down and the hype just died down. The hype cause a lot of people to get curious about bitcoins back in december and now the effect of the sudden loss of momentum can be seen. I think it' just natural to happen and bound to happen. What is nice though is that we now know that the world knows what bitcoins are and that is good for bitcoins.

Nope!   there are still errors!   Cry
I made two withdrawals one for 0.3 XMR and another for 0.1 XMR
The transactions do not appear in chainradar.com or moneroblocks.info, of the dates: 03-03-18 and  04-03-18
and at this moment nothing is known about them!

Apparently the Monero node has been down for over a week now. People are waiting for their deposits and it looks like you'll be waiting for your withdrawal. I'm waiting for support to fix my deposit issue which I admit is my own fault but that doesn't make it any less of an issue as I cannot currently access my btc. We are all stuck waiting until the admin returns. This is absolutely ridiculous.

If the admin cannot take the time to consistently maintain this site like almost every other dice site admin does, then he needs to turn over the reigns to someone who can or hire competent staff!

This is not a good sign for this site. Their site was down in a while ago and the admins have not addressed issues at the earliest possible time. This isn't looking good for gamblers here. If problems like these start to stack up, it will likely damage the reputation of the site.  Hope they work on it, as safedice is one of the known dice sites around and they have a pretty good investment on the bankroll.

Shouldn't harm their trustworthiness, since they're good with all the other coins
Seems they're having problems only with XMR
Shows negligence though

Agree with negligence, but damage to their reputation and trustworthiness is still possible as people may see this as some sort of their weakness and possibly a threat to users. Well, let's just see how they do in the next days.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: March 09, 2018, 10:31:10 AM
I'd say that I was removed once, when at the time I registered twice because I forgot my password on my first account. I think this was on crypto-games. Though I sent them an email and they got my first account back and got it sorted out pretty quick. I guess they were banning multiple accounts due to people farming the faucet claims.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Men only. Are you daring enough to have a boob job to complete a bet? on: March 09, 2018, 10:28:41 AM
Even if I am financially burdened guy, I don't think I an muster up the courage to be able to do the bet. That's a pretty big decision to do and it would be hard to hide the fact you have big breasts as a man. Though for that much money, it's kinda hard to decide on it. It's a really big amount of money which can change someone's life aside from the change in the chest part if you know what I mean.

Well this is over. GS 110 - SA 107.

I'll probably check out your site when I do have time. Though this isn't supposed to be how you advertise your sportsbook.

Maybe you should have an ETH giveaway so that people can try to bet or offer refund on the bet if they lose or something like that.

169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XRPBust Is Looking For Bankroll Investors ! on: March 09, 2018, 10:02:36 AM
@XRPBust. If you really are going to target the imaginary millions of people using XRP, why are you in a bitcoin gambling subforum asking for an investment?

Go to a Ripple forum. No one likes using a centralized token issued by a for profit company that is trying to act like a central bank around here.
I posted this here because there are alot of traders and investors here. The more places to post it the better Smiley , Im probably not going to be able to reach the millions of people who use XRP but at least a good portion of them as the community is huge.

I also do not have any problem with it since, the bitcointalk forum is not really exclusively only for bitcoins. Remember, all altcoins have announced their projects here first. Also, the altcoin section here is quite large. XRP included. Not only that, there are people that have bitcoins and would not mind trading it for altcoins like XRP in the name of investments.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 09, 2018, 07:58:25 AM
Hello to all,

I invested in Crypterium ICO a lot of money, from business plan I was going to keep CRPT Token until Q3 2018. We are still in Q1 is true, but mathematically, according to my calculations, CRPT token can not reach the result I was hoping for. I made about 90% loss from the amount invested. What do I do? Do I continue to Hodl or do I realize this huge loss? To get back on track I need at least 2/3 full points and I do not think the token can do it.

Did you invest in CRPT? Do you think you can do it?

Since you already lost 90%, I would say just to gamble the remainder. Unless you really need the money, I would go with my suggestion. The reason is that you invested in crypto, here it doesn't usually profit at first but when it does it could mean a quick profit of even x1000. Usually when coins get out of ICOs, it dies at the first few weeks or even months of trading but it picks up after that.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any book I should read? on: March 09, 2018, 07:55:28 AM
Hello there guys,
I wonder if there are any books worth reading about strategy, how to behave or how to keep your head calm. Have you read something that really helped you? Thanks for your responses
Why are you looking for a book when you can just ask Google all the questions in your head and get it answered? There are so many articles you can make use of online, and once you just type the keywords, you should be fine.

The most important thing to keep your head calm when it comes to trading is to learn how to make use of the indicators, do some TAs, apply fundamental analysis and some risk management as well to your trading, and every other thing will fall in place, but if you are in dire need of reading books, you can checkout Market Wizards and Following the Trend: Diversified Managed Futures Trading, they will really be of great help.
Market Wizards was really a great book as you will learn a lot from how the market gurus have done a lot in the past and how they have been successful in trading. I definitely learned a lot from that. I just checked this website you shared as well, and it sure has a lot of information for any trader to get started without even having to go around Google looking for much.

I would like to add 2 books that I have read too anyway and really was a great help to me, and those are; Complete Turtle Trader by Michael Covel and Mind Over Markets (I cannot remember the Author) but you can search on Google to find the book.

The thing is that there are so many books, and as a trader, you just cannot stop reading as they will all help you later on, one way or the other.

Thanks for the info from you guys, I've never really read any books when I started trading and I just jumped right it. All I did was gut feel and so far I've had some pretty successful ones but when I do get losses it's also really big and sometimes the profits don't really offset the losses. Maybe if I do get some more knowledge then I can minimize my losses in the future. Guess knowledge is always the best weapon.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 09, 2018, 07:19:07 AM
NO, not yet. That's odd if you will allow yourself go home with total zero on your pocket. Only a person that is careless and reckless will do such thing as going home without anything left. It's fine to me to go home as a loser but I'm still careful and I can't depend on others with my carelessness. If ever I'll be in this type of situation it's okay for me as long as my house is nearby.

There are just some people that can't control themselves and just gamble every penny they have in their pockets. Even if it would be risk their only way to get home. Guess I would say that is already tell tale signs that the person is already addicted to what he is doing. That small voice in their heads telling them that they can walk away with more than just cab money.
173  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Warning] Never buy using auto-buy links posted by newbies, especially if locked on: March 09, 2018, 07:16:00 AM
Did someone declare MARCH as "SCAM MONTH"?    They are just crawling out of the woodwork like termites ... or cockroaches.

Oh they're always around but sometimes it seems like they comes in waves. These sketchy autobuy link and lock the thread newbies have been around for years and it's so obvious that they're going to scam you. The problem with scams coming in waves is that newbie's also come in waves and are very naive.

You aren't shopping for a new pair of shoes with a credit card on bitcointalk. They fail to see the difference in these types of transactions, which is unfortunate.

Yeah, they've been here probably even from the start of this forum. There is no time they were gone or their numbers decreased. They are just finding new ways to scam some poor sucker that would fall for their tricks. They get creative each day and each time their dirty tricks gets discovered.

I guess it is the role of people like us who hate scammers to defend the newbies of this forum, and even the veterans that may fall for their scam attempts. We cannot eradicate scammers but I would say we can minimize the chances they have to scam.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: March 09, 2018, 07:09:37 AM
It is really hard to leave gambling especially if you are really addicted with it. Once you are out of control with it, it will going to be hard for you to leave. You must help yourself to stop playing gambling and you need to motivate yourself to do that. I think it is better if you going to travel and leave those gambling games you have. Enjoy with family and friends and travel in some places that you are going to relax and enjoy to forget that addiction. You will see the beauty of life if you forgot that addiction and you will think that you are just wasting your time with gambling.  Cheesy

The only person that can really help you quit gambling for good is yourself. You will hear a lot of good advise hear. But if you don't follow it with your heart, nothing will change. And most of the time, its more of a mental game. How tough and how serious are you in quitting? Because 90% of those who quit have return to gambling anyways. Similar to quitting smoking, I know a lot of people who have quit for so long, but a simple event in their life triggers the addiction again (like death in a family). Its gonna be a constant and everyday battle for those quitters and its gonna be a tough road. But if you are really that serious and you know the consequences of getting back at gambling then I'm sure at the end you are going to overcome it.

Advises and all just give you ideas how to stop gambling but you have to make strong decssion then only it is possible. for example, in my family, my father addicted to smoking but suddenly his health was upset and 1 month he was hospitalised. after that, he stopped smoking completely why because he realise how it will affect his loved once. like that when people will realise there mistake that time automatically they will stop gambling.
Well that is when yo learn it the hard way, but some people will have the resolve to be able to quit anything if they wanted to. But that is hard to see anyone who has an addiction. So if you are a gambler and you have a gambling addiction, you either learn it the hard way by losing all of your money or you can stop it at your own volition. The latter is quite harder, but it is possible with some form of help, either it be from your family or some medical intervention.
175  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WARNING] Avoid auto-buy links, especially by newbies, locked or self-moderated on: March 09, 2018, 04:29:18 AM
Ban sales of software entirely. It is illegal to resell anyways lol all the prices on this forum are too good to be true & the keys won't last a "lifetime" Adobe & Microsoft will eventually BLOCK ALL the keys sold here. Same rules apply on Ebay & Amazon. You can trust Amazon if the keys are sold directly by Amazon but do not trust the sellers on Amazon.

For those who purchase keys at their own risk, avoid the following resellers:
1. Resellers with little to no knowledge of basic English
2. Resellers that do not answer EVERY question. Most do not answer the question: "Are the adobe keys UNREGISTERED?"
3. Resellers who do not offer Escrow
4. Avoid the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Asian International resellers even if their English is perfect.
5. Resellers who do not provide proof that the keys are not MSDN keys.

I recommend talking to a Microsoft/Adobe agent on their websites. They can verify the keys but I would not trust their word 100% either since some of the live chat agents are just as ignorant as the buyers on this forum.

Just to rebut some things here, though I am not saying I am for them,
1. English is not a prerequisite to being trust worthy.
2. If you were a merchant and have thousands of questions everyday and your customers don't know how to back read, lets see you answer all of them. What do you mean by the "unregistered" though, don't see the relevance.
3. Some sellers don't really need an escrow to deal, assuming they are trust worthy already.
4. Racist much?
5. You can expect the keys to be something illegal or a gray area one.

I'd stay stick with the rule, "if it is too good to be true, it probably is" and "you get what you pay for".

Can we ask the mods to stickie this? I think this is quite important and I've seen this quite rampantly in the past.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 07, 2018, 11:33:10 PM

Yeah I understand what you are saying here, but are you think it clear enough? What is the point of doing that? First, you just wasting your time to abuse the faucet just to get a very tiny amount of money. Second, it will also ruin your reputation out there, by getting blocked by their admin.
May be this is a good option, admin of any site will close down their faucet system and change it to some giveaways periodically. This way any players can't abuse anymore and no more about accounta that get blocked because of abusing the faucet

The main concern is closing or blocking accounts only after someone earn money. They should do better system to catch abusers and don't allow them to claim free money itself. Anyway, I think we have discussed a lot about this topic and it looks Bitsler admin or support is not bothered about it because it is their money and site.
There is no need to change the faucet system as a lot of gambling sites have implemented there own ways to prevent faucet farmers. And we shouldn't even bother this kind of people anymore as they are not even arguing about the game which is the main point of a gambling site. They are complaining about the faucet in order for them to have free money to bet in these gambling sites which is a wrong start for an argument. They are just basically here in order to suck the money out of these gambling sites. Certain measures like the minimum deposit can separate the real players from the freeloaders.

True, but the reason is that since this is free money even if it is small, there is that chance too that they would be able to convert it to higher numbers which they can withdraw. Every time these freeloaders win, that would result to casinos actually losing money. Minimum deposit though is not an option, since the very purpose of faucet money is to allow new players to be able to test out the game.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 07, 2018, 11:26:06 PM
I think the poll should add something like, "I played because it is a lot more convenient than using other gambling platforms that do not offer cryptocurrencies as an option".

Since that was the reason why I got into cryptocurrency gambling than the conventional online gambling platforms. It is a lot easier to obtain cryptocurrencies than deposit on some websites which required something like skrill or other payment methods that are quite inconvenient for me.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: March 07, 2018, 11:11:15 PM
Bitcoin is always the best option for gambling, the only problem is that the fee is too high now. I think XRP and XLM, it will be good choices.
Because of the high volatility of Bitcoins, most people are resulting to using alt coins such as Dash, ETH, LTC and a whole to gamble as long as the casinos accepts them. They have low fees and they are confirmed within a few minutes letting the person to gamble quickly.
Though those altcoins are also volatile anyway. If you guys don't want to deal with volatility then probably cryptocurrency gambling should not be your thing. Volatility is inherent in all crypto, there is no crypto that is stable at the moment (maybe there are but most likely it is not offered in casinos). DASH, ETH, LTC and others have been historically been volatile. Heck, even DOGE is volatile.
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 06, 2018, 09:09:23 PM
I feel cheated by this site, of all that I have played I had never happened to lose 16 moves in a row playing 45% of luck the game of dice, and also 9 times in a row to 49%, can someone clarify how it is possible this? It is assumed that playing 45% of luck of 100 plays would have 45 won and 55 losses, however I have had 67 losses and 33 won.

I feel robbed and cheated by fortunejack

Cheated or not is depends on your luck as well, 45% is pretty normal odds and you are complaining on 16 losing streak and how about with 2x odds I suffer more than 20 losing streak? How do you feel about that? And I believe they have verifier which you can verify your own bet to check whether they cheated you or not

I find withdrawals wagering requirements ridiculous to be honest, but each site has its own rules,

If you don't read rules before depositing money then it is your fault.

It is similar to Bitler bans accounts when they profited from a faucet because that is their rules.

I agree with you, people always just check the "I agree" box and then get mad when they break or don't understand the rules..

But bitsler banning accounts that profited from faucets, really? Did not know that Cheesy
Well, it's in their ToS. If someone never deposit and play only from faucet they can ban player.
If I recall someone was abusing their faucet with large number of multi accounts gaining positive edge against them.

I believe you're talking about bitselr issue. If someone is always playing with free money means it is not players mistake but it is admin mistake because he doesn't know how to control his faucet claim system. They should limit all faucet users claims and once they allow means then you shouldn't ban accounts. They shouldn't allow faucet claims once a user reaches certain free claims until they deposit money.

Nope, you are wrong, bitsler put their faucet normally of course for betting purpose but to abuse it everyday is not really good way to bet and that is why they limit on how much they should claim everyday. In the mean time if in some period of time they do not make any deposit and keep on abuse it then their account will be banned

I believe FJ have this regulations too right? I do not think any site want their site to be abused on players that do not even put any deposit once to start gambling.

I'm not talking about how much they limit for each player because that is their money and their decision we can't do anything on that part.

But I'm asking after they allow some free claims then why are they banning accounts if players make some profit from that free amount? This is not a good way to control abusers instead they shouldn't allow players to claim free money after certain free claims.

Like I always said, there is nothing wrong for allowing the faucet and it is claimable by everyone but you need at least give something back by depositing money back to their site to play. If you only want to yake some free money then do not abuse their faucet, you can get it from free giveaway. This is just take and give conditions, they do not ask you to deposit so many but at least try to make some small deposit before you can keep on abusing their faucet
Abuse or not. Depositing or not we cant do anything about it and cant force those people to deposit for the sake of giving back to the gambling site itself.Abusers is cant be avoided and i know each site do have its own way on restricting those guys.So therefore theres no need to argue if they would need to give back or not.Faucets would be always there for the sake on testing out of the game.

Even though those faucet amounts are just small but when it can possibly be abused then it would turns out to be a big thing. Imagine create 100x account and having no restrictions then it would be an another story. Faucets cant really be easily removed into a gambling site since this is one of the things that really do potentially hooks up a player.Sites do have already ways on how to get rid of those abusers.

Imagine if someone would create thousands of accounts and be able to just withdraw the minimum even just once a day. That would be a lot of money in a short span of time. But indeed there are a lot of safeguards that are in place that can prevent this from happening and maybe the cost for the abuser would potentially be a lot more expensive than what he would win from it.
