161  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 14, 2023, 04:21:43 PM
many users are getting money in this forum through signature campaign, it's one of side job although some users might consider it as a primary job since few campaigns already run for 2-3 years.
I think the reason why forum users don't mention Signature campaigns is because they are not reliable and can stop at any time. Even some of the campaigns are running for long time. But, there is always a possibility of them to be stopping/ending at some point of time. Longer or sooner all signature campaigns eventually ends..

Signature campaign pay for around $50/week which is really good for people who live in poor country e.g. third world countries. Those poor country only pay for $50/month for a job that need to work from 8AM to 5PM.
Indeed anyone from those countries using this forum and earning some money are very unfortunate. Because, what they can earn here by participating in forum activities is not possible to earn in their real life with hard work.
162  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Primary Purpose (Advertising or Gift) on: January 14, 2023, 02:44:50 PM
I would say both. Let me tell you how.

When a project wants to launch a signature campaign so they can promote their business in the forum using signature spaces of forum users. But they prefer and accept (that's actually their manager's job) only high-quality bitcointalk posters.

Because, obviously normal and regular users read and pay more attention to the posts which are better in quality, have good value, and contribute to the forum in some way. So, their signature ads gets more impressions from members when the posts are good and constructive which means a reward for quality and also serves the purpose of advertising.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: what If Bitcoin Price never comes up on: January 13, 2023, 01:16:41 PM
This idea plants into rookie investor minds through time but you will realize it is only because bear markets lasted too long. I think if you are worried that Bitcoin won't ever recover, remember this week. Bitcoin literally made big jump and signified possible bulls to return. If bulls start to dominate markets Bitcoin and all other alternative coins will hit very high price levels. I think %50 profit is very like in 3 months into future. It is best to closely watch markets next 2 months to catch the ride for moon.
I am not a rookie anymore but there was a time I think about it. It's not that I am scared or what but the question arises for fun only. It's fine if BTC never comes up but as long as it won't also dump hard or in short it will only be stable. That would be the time people will use their BTC as a currency which was a good thing since this was its original purpose and meant by its founder.

In reality, it's not possible for Bitcoin to never go up anymore since there will always be new people who will enter here. That should counter the sellers. Not all people are also selling and then there is still a chance that those sellers will come back once they saw that the price is improving again.
164  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 12, 2023, 09:35:02 PM
When freebitco.in does promo, they do it the right way. They have been giving out 400k dollars per year on lambo bet alone, and that's just one thing and not considering anything else.

Between the wheel and these promos and hell the free faucet itself alone they are probably giving away over a million every year, possibly multi million dollars if I am not calculating wrong. That is bigger than any other casino in the entire world, no other casino does that and we are looking at a fair one, that gives out to people with not so much money, not just whales and us too. This is why it's ranked so high and that's why it's such a great thing right now as well.
165  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎮🎲LuckyBird🎁 - social sweepstake casino🎄🔥up to $20 free every Week 🎁 on: January 11, 2023, 06:56:50 PM
Im waiting on a withdrawal. Its not instant thats for sure
Maybe you can provide more details here like what other complainants do and let see if what we can do or what we can think of this casino if they are worthy to try or not. It's not only about the casino but sometimes it was about the complainant. They might do unwanted things and that is why their withdrawals are put on hold.

the faucet is available on a permanent basis, the only limitation is that you will need to write a couple of messages to the general chat in order to extend access (as I understand it, this is from bots)
It is unlikely that this will slow down the development of the project, since players who place large bets will not be tempted by this faucet
That was great then if it's permanent. Not unlike to the casinos that I know that they remove their faucets later on. If someone abuses it then why not lessen the rates? And then add some extra requirements. There is no real need to remove it. I can see that you are concerned of bots but why not put a captcha? This one is pretty common on many faucet sites nowadays.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 10, 2023, 08:45:22 PM
A draw for the match is not a decent result for Bilbao, because Bilbao can really control the game by winning in many statistics. With the victory from the statistics that Bilbao has, then Bilbao should be able to score at least one goal and win three points in that match.
But indeed, the draw is worth it for Osasuna because they can play with good defense and discipline. But for Bilbao, who are playing at home with such a good statistical advantage, a draw is not a decent result for Bilbao. But yes, maybe that is indeed the limit of Bilbao's abilities, maybe they are still not so good at making the final finish.
Even Athletic Bilbao was good team on field and have enough chances to score goal but things completely in favour of Osasuna which was here for having one point, and they have done this with their tight defense even most of the time all players were on for defense which helps them and not allowed Athletic Bilbao for having any positive chance for having full three points from this match with this result Osasuna is surely feeling proud because they are doing good job in this season.

Now after break Athletic Bilbao play two matches which give them two points, and they are not able to score any goal even no concede any goal but now have to stay at seventh spot which is surely not good because they deserve better now next week they have another challenge against Real Sociedad.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 10, 2023, 08:03:05 AM
I am not really good in trading but I have also not been losing that bad when trading. Because as long as we trade using our decent and working strategies and keeps on improving our knowledge and skills in trading, we can expect to come up with successful trading later on. Of course, there are still inevitable losses and but at least we were able to maximize our profits too.
Doesn't quite make sense. Are you in profit or loss overall should be the question and if the answer is loss then basically you are fooling yourself by saying "you are maximizing your profits". If you are break even then it's basically a hobby more than a profession.

Everyone knows that only a small percentage of traders trade with profit, the rest either lose their deposit completely or partially. Therefore, there must be those in the market who do not know how to trade, and who will definitely lose their money just so that a small part of traders will make a profit.
Agree, 95% of the traders lose money and it goes into the pockets of the 5% smart traders who know what they are doing. Since the introduction of altcoins this market has become worse because people are literally buying memecoins and waiting to get a 100x which may happen but neither it's healthy habit nor profitable in the long run.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2023 be another up year for Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2023, 09:20:31 PM
It is obvious that this year will be an up year, there is no doubt about that in my mind at all, it's going to happen without a doubt. Obviously there could be some sort of discussion and there could be some people who will disagree with it, but that doesn't mean that they are right and we are wrong.

We had one of the worst years of crypto and we need to just recollect ourselves and when that happens we are gradually going to start going up. That will be a great period when it starts, and 2023 will be the start of it. We will go up a bit this year, a bit more next, and a lot more after that so if you want to invest, right now is the best time, after that it's going to be just more and more.
169  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: January 09, 2023, 06:53:51 PM
I borobtc , i remember you in the past have the same issue no?.

That was resolved?

I dont make a withdraw from betnomi from a lot of time, but the two times when i made one it was make fast. (but was little money like 2 or 3 mbtc i dont remember the eaxct ammount).
Upon checking his past post, it shows that he received the money and it took 21 days. That was long but that's better because at least he got it. If it resolved it means the site wasn't totally a scam and then the guy wasn't really an abuser and there are still some positive feedbacks that I saw around including yours. Oh well, just gamble only here at your own risk.

You have a lot of patience as you are still playing at Betnomi even though your previous withdrawal took a few days to get processed. They sent one of your withdrawal after a week, then your another withdrawal took 21 days to get processed. Why they are making such delays most of the time? Have you done anything wrong? Or they are doing it always for security check?
Rest assured that he got used to it and he thinks that this site was still trusted even though it has delays. What's important for him is that he is lucky here and maybe not really on other gambling sites but he should stop complaining now since he already have an idea how long the withdrawals can take place here. IDK if what is the main reason on why they do this. It can be about financial issues. If it's about security checks then usually it only last 24 to 48 hrs.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 09, 2023, 03:50:22 PM
First time to hear that game called casino war so I got curious and do more investigation, only to found out that this game was a card game but AFAIK, the martingale method mainly works in dice games. Maybe this was the reason why you aren't successful at the end. If happens that you win at your early tries then you should also learn how to stop.

Take a rest for a day or two because it's also not possible to win consistently as we know that there are house edges in each casino games and dice is one of the games which has a high percentage of it but I don't know about casino war if how much is it's house edge. It could be higher than in dice.
171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 07, 2023, 09:51:10 PM
A personal computer or laptop costs around as much as a mobile phone. So I am not sure where exactly you get off on calling me rich. Also, I am not a kid. I think that either you are perhaps the kid who has yet to enter the world of working adults and therefor does not understand that buying a laptop or mobile phone is not such a huge, life-changing deal, even in poor countries. Hell, if you were really desperate, you could buy a very cheap, old used one and it would work just fine.

Playing on a small screen, is uncomfortable. No matter how you look at it.
I would say it all depends on your personal choice that how you want to gamble like for me Mobile phone do the job well but I would say in most of the countries laptop/desktop are expensive compared to mobile phones and all can't afford to buy them so they prefer gambling on their phones only.
This discussion is basically talking about peoples preferences and not understanding each other, but we should not go towards bashing others preferences neither.

I do find mobile phones to be not too easy to use for gambling too, but I am not going to say that it's terrible for everyone neither because that's not true, half of the world prefers to gamble on their phone which means it's fine for them and I am happy for them, do whatever you want to do and not what I think is better or not, I will do what I think is best for me. People need to find the difference between saying "I prefer this way" and "this is the better way" because those two sentences are very different.
172  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE IS UNFAIR AND BIASED, NOTHING BUT CLASSISM! on: January 06, 2023, 08:19:52 PM
I think @OP is complaining about the unrecognition of his wagering to reserve a bonus amount since it was established that he is one of the VIP that wagered the most in the said event.  I also think that there is a criteria he is missing.  If the event is for Platinum and above player only then no matter how huge @OP wagered, he will never qualify for the bonus.
That is the criteria. He needs to be a plat 4/5 to be able to qualify for the bonus. He even knew this because he mentioned it in his post but what he is whining at is that stake didn't clear this out on their terms. I think the OP got some point there and maybe at this point, stake should edit their terms and make it a little bit specific so that the same scenario won't happen again, just in case there are still people who are like the OP.

OP shouldn't be angry or sad because if it's true that he wagered hard then he can still get a huge monthly, bi-monthly and weekly bonuses. And IDK maybe he is close on being platinum too, so that should earn him another juicy bonus.
173  Economy / Services / Re: CRYPTOLIFE - We will help you with listing on any platform on: January 06, 2023, 07:10:53 PM
We can work with different influencers from crypto and not from crypto niche. Plus we have proof of that.
What kind of proof that you have; any chances to unveil them? (if you cannot share any proof then better you should not have talked about that at first hand). I remember that some Hollywood actress was charged and fined for worked as an influencer in social media for a scammy crypto projects; are you still sure about hiring high level people for random people's projects?

When legal systems are closely watching crypto space these days, I guess you may not get any celebrity to promote a crypto project as no one could predict the future of it like when its dev will run away with investors' funds or declare a bankruptcy. So, up to Elon Musk level is just non-realistic in my view as well.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin core - Create new reception address function unavailable on: January 06, 2023, 10:46:52 AM
Per my guesswork, it is a common newbie mistake of these days.

Probably OP has not created a wallet if they were a altcoin user previously as only new versions of wallet software got this feature. (Most altcoins still release old qt based or older version of core based wallets which creates wallet on its own on first launching of wallet).

If have not created a wallet manually then File->Create new wallet.

If created multiple wallets then you need to open one wallet when every time you launch wallet: File-> Open wallet.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: January 05, 2023, 09:43:01 PM
The reality is that it was optioned stocks and he would have to be forced to sell anyway. People are acting as if dude sold 50 billion dollars worth of stock just to piss people off or something as well when he did it, reality was that he had to pay his taxes, and the only way to pay 50 billion dollars would be selling that much stock.

In reality, this dude would not sell a dime of his stocks if he had the choice, and why would he considering how much it grows, and probably buys it back in regular shares as well, the only problem he has is the fact that some of the stocks he has is options, and turns into cash after the time runs out on them.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 05, 2023, 08:14:41 PM
Recently I got an offer from Roobet via email by getting 100 FreeSpins and a value of 0.2/spin so a total of $20 if I make a deposit of $100, if I'm not mistaken I've gotten this offer twice, but have never used it because I haven't found the rules for how much roll over for the deposit value or also for the value obtained from FreeSpin, maybe someone has also received the same offer and has followed it can share your experience with this offer?
Interesting, never received such a mail but I would go into livechat and ask about it. I think you can expect a wagering requirement of around 30 to 40x (which would be pretty standard). Is there information on what slot you need to play it on?
Have you checked your spam folder? Because, sometimes legit mails are caught up there or it's because we accidentally marked them as spam on the past but I think getting a mail like this will still be useless because of their hard requirements. The required deposit of 100 USD is also higher than on most offers that I see on some casinos.

@Strongkored I think there's a terms and conditions written on the same mail. You can click on that to see the full rules for that free spins. You can also click it manually in the bottom of their site. If all fail's then try the suggestion given by @babygun which is to ping the costumer support. Pretty sure that they will help you out.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Predict888.com🚀 - Deposit Bonus Upto $10,000⭐Transparent & Trusted🔥 Play Now on: January 05, 2023, 02:35:25 PM
Welcome to the forum mate, i think this is my first time of coming across a betting platform that isn't focused on sports betting/prediction but rather, choose to focus on price prediction on crypto assets, this is very unique to me and indeed, the first of its kind, and i personal think this platform will do really well if everything is done properly and professionally.

I will definitely try this one out, sometimes, i get bored with sports prediction/betting, it is good we now have something new on the table, the crypto community here will definitely appreciate this, what is needed now is good promotion, i will advice you @OP, to hire a good campaign manager(there are lots of them on this forum) who would design some really nice looking and captivating signatures and launch a signature campaign Asap, this will attract alot of users to this platform in no time.
What about freebitco? They do offer price prediction there and as well as some sports. There are a lot of games under the sports betting category so I do not think someone will ever be bore on them.

We also have casino games and there are thousands of games on them as well. Now will you still say that you will get bored? Sorry, but I even think price predictions are more boring because there are only numbers who are involved here but in sports we have teams and players. We can also watch how they play but in price prediction, the only thing that we are watching are the charts and some lines.
178  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 04, 2023, 09:55:44 PM
To see this many people who are still afraid that there will be even more drops is making me sad. I think it has already seen the bottom, and there could be a small growth, not huge, so I am thorn between answer two and three, I do not think that it will break any new ATH at all, that is not going to happen this year but I think it will grow only a small amount, like maybe somewhere between 20k to 30k, that would be it.

It means it is still a good result for bitcoin, and even though it is not a great thing, it is still better than 2022 at least, there won't be more drops and that means it is a good result and that is definitely mean a lot, if we don't drop.
179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does someone get bitcoin in the first place on: January 04, 2023, 08:09:42 PM
I'm interested in turning USD into BTC.
You can find your local people who are selling bitcoins for your fiats in hand or any electronic methods like paypal etc, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 (Currency exchange sub).

When you are about to meet a stranger for buying bitcoins then meet them in public place.
If you are dealing online for any electronic payment, always engage an escrow for safer transaction.

If you are not aware of how to safely transact, take time to learn from this forum and from youtube videos.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear And Bull Market? on: January 04, 2023, 06:24:23 PM
The meaning of the terms bull and bear market has appeared a long time ago (some say it is different for stock market and cryptocurrency), even though many still don't really understand it.
I think bulls and bears came from the stock market first because they are also first before crypto came out. Later on we use those terms here. Not only those actually but terms like FOMO, FUD, HODL and so on are also adopted here in the crypto market.

I guess that is because both of them works the same. Their value can rise and fall. Then there are manipulators which came to take advantage by scaring investors through fuds other than dumping the price heavily. Those people who missed to profit during a bull are either they over HODL their cryptos or they continue buying more at the top but then the price just nose dive unexpectedly. These should be corrected if we want to succeed here in crypto.
