Check the 'interesting email' thread for a sample, his username on many sites where he discusses these things is punlman

Hmmh, okay the nicknames do seem to link. It does not yet prove that others could not use it. Any references to actual child abusing instead of just gay stuff? I'll look into this a bit more once I get back home. Thanks !

That's some serious accusation you have there. Let's look at the situation: Someone threw a joke that you scammed some coins from the MyBitcoinCoin and now you're going all out how the person is abusing 7 year old children and what not. That's way out of scale man.

Please do post your own proof: what are the other aliases of Bruce Wagner that are discussing about child abuse and how did you come to the conclusion that they are the same person?

I'm open minded and not locking any possibilites away. So please do elaborate on your claims.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8/22/11 Speculation Thread on: August 22, 2011, 06:26:22 PM
OP was so clueless. It's falling down without any resistance :/

OP post was several hours ago, not right now.

Ah, so the "daily" speculation turned into hourly speculation? Got it.

Well, I can't start the client:

Code:
i0coind: main.cpp:1566: bool LoadBlockIndex(bool): Assertion `block.hashMerkleRoot == uint256("0x01f79e95511e638325c288818ed10d95cdfb30bb775c8f024f380a4c9bcd8d4e")' failed.

This was from git.

fuck I've been banging my head against the wall with that message for the last 3 days

do a

git checkout c817321791f174a38bd3501d73eed61894411de8

and rebuild. Latest build is broken. Smiley

It would be great to have a i0coin<>ixcoin exchange. DoubleC ?  Wink

Good idea. Could you also create rikurrCoin <-> i0Coin exchange? I've got some coins to dump.

What about the keychain that is allready online ? ca. 720blocks?
Is this a testnet and will be resetted tomorrow?`

Now there are already like 2400 blocks, are they kept?

How can a blockchain be resetted technically?

By releasing new code/clients with a new epoch block.

WHERE are all the people decrying alt chains as "scams" and proclaiming they won't participate in I0coin for whatever moral reasons?  Or do we have to wait til we pass 10 difficulty levels before the johnny come latelys, who missed the early adopter boat, start whining?

Maybe they heard the stories of people making 100s of BTC / night as early adopters to ixcoin (which is now dying). It's worth a shot. Smiley

Unless it's a trap, the price should go up. No?
173  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Pizzas to Wall Street Protesters on Sept. 17th on: August 12, 2011, 12:25:45 AM
If someone can make it happen (I live in the EU), I'll pledge 5 BTC to it on these conditions:

1) the organizer also prints out flyers about bitcoin (pointing to weusecoin.com maybe)
2) the organizer promises to post photos of handing out flyers and pizzas

176  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: August 09, 2011, 12:32:09 PM
Some bot just cleared a majort portion of asks < 13. Watch the price jump up. But there definitely will be a correction I think, looks so orchestrated.
177  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transaction not showing in client.. can I send on a zero balance? on: July 27, 2011, 07:02:44 PM
Block downloading can be really slow. At least on my OSX with FileVault on.

If I knew any C, I'd like to fix this myself.. Now the best I can do is to pledge 2 BTC for someone like JoelKatz to do it. Anyone else?

Sent them an email asking if I could donate in Bitcoins to support the cause.
179  Other / Off-topic / Anyone want a spotify invitation? on: July 27, 2011, 10:13:44 AM
Spotify is now available in the US, I hear. I've still got some 30 invites left. Just reply/PM me with an email address and I'll send you one.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Send didn't get picked up by network... on: July 21, 2011, 03:33:02 PM
at least on OSX the wallet can get stuck with the non-sent transaction. The only way I was able to fix it was using an earlier wallet.dat backup and doing a rescan of the blocks.
