161  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 26, 2017, 11:20:29 PM
I believe that the rapists need to cut off the genitals and put them in prison or a psychiatric hospital for the rest of their lives. They can not be released to people, because they can again commit violence.

No one rapes because it's in their nature. They need treatment, those who cannot be rehabilitated then deserve no part in society. Doesn't give you the right to inflict harm on others, no individual has that right.
162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will President Trump build the wall? on: July 26, 2017, 11:19:22 PM
He should build that wall. He's totally right when talking about illegal inmigrants and the troubles they bring to a country. I assure you that those people who say stupid things about him only because they hate Trump also get upset/angry when they see those "poor illegal inmigrants" are involved in most of illegal business in their country, etc. (*cough* hypocrites *cough*)  Grin

I'm assuming you want to do the shit jobs "poor illegal immigrants" get right? Who the fuck are you to be talking about immigrants when you can't even spell it right? Learn to speak the language before you use it to insult.

Most of these Mexicans have a better work ethic than you, would much rather hire a hard worker than a self entitled ass-wipe like you.

I can assure you people hate Trump for more than the reason you said, maybe it's the fact that he's the idiot in charge of some pretty important things. The man that says global warming was a myth made by China. The man that says there's fake news against him....
163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The taboo of child marriages. on: July 26, 2017, 11:16:04 PM
It should be! But we cannot suppress someones beliefs because its too sacred for them. We can't push ourselves to other people and make them believe what we believe. Maybe child marriage is a kind of tradition for some people passed from generation to generation originated by their ancestors.

Modern law and norms should supersede any tradition.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sati_(practice)

This is tradition - shall we still carry on practicing it?

My account (geekbasic) has been hijacked. I haven't had access to it for about a week now.

It appears that someone guessed my password and has changed/cleared all the profile info.
This info includes the recovery email, signature, etc. Of course the new email is hidden.
I imagine it's being held by a scammer for future use as no posts have been made yet.

May I get some help from a mod here on this? I can prove I am the real Geek Basic.

Best if you PM them mate. They won't see this post.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: when is the good time to sell my bitcoin ? on: July 26, 2017, 11:12:36 PM

167  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I predicted Cryptsy downfall, I second that btc-e.com is absolutely a scam on: July 26, 2017, 11:07:18 PM
At worst - it's probably operating like Liberty Reserve, but let's be honest. LR is nothing like BTC.

Going to say I called it - they were going to go down sooner or later Smiley
168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS Leader is dead on: July 19, 2017, 08:08:23 PM
dead? last time i checked the cia director was fit as a fiddle...
badamm tssss
Clap clap clap
This was actually a good one.

Killing the leader of Isis doesn't mean a thing. They thought that killing Bin Laden will change things, and look where it got us.

Well it worked. Al-Qaeda's operations went down significantly.

Even then - the assumption that if one man mastermind an attack that takes advantage of weak security protocols, who should we really be blaming? 9/11 was one big shitty excuse to go into war whichever way you look at it.

At the end of the day, you leave a nation destabilized because you think you've ended the war on terror and another group takes it place. Remember when Al-Qaeda called ISIS too extreme?

Boy, you both believe in killing infidels - there's no grey area to this. You kill, your bad.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally, Bitcoin is Bouncing Back! on: July 19, 2017, 08:02:45 PM
Finally? It was going to happen either way. No way does the price drop and people DON'T buy cheap coins.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dip below 2000 again before Aug 1? on: July 19, 2017, 08:02:13 PM
I personally feel the bitcoin price will still drop again before 1st of August, but it does not seem to be going down too far. I think $1800 - $2000 is the fall of bitcoin prices before 1 August.

Everybody will press the panic sell button before 1 august. I also expect prices will go down till 1500$(support line) btc/usd rate Wink

People will panic, sell and then it'll go back within a couple of weeks.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump is not over yet on: July 19, 2017, 08:01:51 PM
I called this last weekend. August 1 FUD was a decoy to distract the masses from buying at the best prices. Smart investors got in last weekend and didn't let greed convince them prices would go lower. Last weekend will be the best prices anyone gets period. Hope you didn't wait on the sidelines.

Everyone has been brainwashed to wait for August 1 while the whales bought the cheap coins panic sellers dumped for virtually free.    The fork isn't happening.

I keep on saying this. Every time the price drops, we buy up and laugh at everyone selling coins for a loss when they should have just held on.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ?, on: July 19, 2017, 08:01:07 PM
BTC long term - ETH for short term dips etc.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think for the coming split on Aug 1st? on: July 19, 2017, 07:35:04 PM

he market has already anticipated/realized the impact for the split. That's the reason for the dumping within last three weeks.

I very much doubt it's this. Alphabay has also gone down - considering they took in almost $500,000 of transactions per day, they were a big part. This always happens with a market take down and I think most people are preparing, if anything for a short crash and then back to normal. You think people won't lap up cheap coins and push the price back up if it drops below a certain %?

For every seller, there's usually a buyer who will buy cheap coins off you ^_^

Or does Bitcoin have some inherent flaws that will eventually inhibit its growth?

Bitcoins current form imho isn't enough for it to go mainstream. It will eventually have to scale if it wants to be used with the frequency of plastic.
175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 07:32:11 PM
You need a job for long term stability. Bitcoin is going to be my windfall to fall back on.
176  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Amazon GC Scam on: July 19, 2017, 07:25:53 PM
Alright, this case has been reported to both local police and international police within Amazon Support and Escalation Team of Amazon and since this case has gotten to such a degree Amazon was obligated to give me another gift card of $50.

Actually I thought you were going to answer or something over here but you didn't and that's why I waited a little before reporting or doing anything else but expect someone knocking to your door at any time and even more things LouisVuitton.

I don't understand.

This doesn't make sense. It's within Amazon TOS if the recipient of the GC does not redeem in time then it can be ONLY be resent to another email.

What also doesn't make sense is why Susan Utsey is coming up lol.
